You're getting into an area that is still blocked off, giving you an advantage over others and that is against sky tos

And since the portal to the village is inactive, you can't teleport to the village, meaning you used a different way (hacking) that is even more against sky tos and very discouraged

Can confirm, I tested it out. Got a krill's attention, opened the emote menu, tapped the home button, waited to get krilled, lost no winged lights. Am I correct that this didn't actually work before, and that it only worked if you went through the settings menu? I never tried using the emote menu home button again after I got the settings menu one to work against the krill, that is until today when I heard the settings menu home button trick no longer worked. I hope they don't eliminate it entirely. I mean I can afford to lose WL now that I have wing buffs from several TS and all the main constellation spirits unlocked, but losing WL used to be devastating when I was a moth.

it has been added in order to let other players catch up. Usually if someone has reached the end of the race, rest of the players would get teleported, now they also need to collect new fragments scattered across the rink. Meanwhile, others can reach their destination, they have more time
