if anyone has an issue with unlocking the ts tree even after reliving its memories, make sure to wait until you can walk around after you burn the statue. there's a gap of time where you can't walk around but you can return home--do not return home until you are able to move, that should work!

What's the way to gain a lot of speed on the ice in Valley's Sliding Race, control wise? I race normally but some vets just go nyooming by so fast that they seem to be pushing against the limits of physics itself and seem close to stumbling

@remote fulcrum valley racer here, my usual methods are cutting corners as much as possible, staying on the ground (flying slows you down), and taking the easiest most downward paths
going up things can slow you down massively, so in areas like the small cave with the 3 branching paths, take the middle one for maximum speed

also, staying straight and not doing funky loop-de-loops on the track helps a lot

afaik your skid height doesn’t affect anything, so no need to worry about stuff like that

well, the little ramps are fine, i’m not sure if they impact your overall race time or not

control wise ? not to my recollection. then again races are second nature to me now
