Honestly I used to fly up much more easily in broken temple. But since the most recent patch or two I feel verticality is reduced I had to use those toppled pillars to get that one high WL when I used to soar my way up comfortably.

That's definitely interesting! I wonder if it's intentionally more windy or maybe a bug, I know I finessed reaching that wing light years ago too, so I'll have to see if I have the same wind troubles when I go grab it again!

I don't recall seeing any mentions of wind strength being changed in wasteland, so it might be worth reporting your experience just in case

You go on the direction where all the objects are stored, theres a circle shapped land and its somewhere there in like a cave i think, thats as much as a tip i can give by only writting

Yes even in Graveyard. I used to love sitting at the peak of the center rock and bone formation. But since mid last year I noticed there is a weird downward wind that will prevent you from flying up higher. Kinda annoying when I enjoyed sitting up there, it was all quiet and didn't have to hear or see the wind ceiling.

Maybe a bug, maybe intentional? I might report that.

I'm a frequent GW visitor hence I love it when dailies are there. So irks me that wind is worse now

Was it just me or when I was doing dailies in vault, it was oddly quiet that we couldn't wait for someone to help with the 4 player door 😭 like there was 3 of us but the servers refused to merge

Also today's lantern had a harder than normal fragment placement.

The orbs are definitely finicky. When the timing is just right and I can switch flight modes and stop moving fast enough they work well. But they move really fast and it's often hard to catch them or stop in time.

I did actually get it to work in today's shard. The trick seems to be to switch flight modes to hover and stop touching the controls when you enter. The tricky part for me is mostly catching them. A think slowing them down a little might be a big improvement.

I'm on pc, and my lightmending map keeps starting with 1 fragment collected without me doing anything. And I literally can't even find remnants of wave 1's 8th fragment ANYWHERE in the map. I have half the thought that pc players might have gotten a fragment spawned in the water, and perhaps as a countermeasure, any fragments that spawn in the water are automatically collected?

Here is the most updated (as of the date of posting) version of the wing counts.

You'll need 4 quests to unlock the first tier (2 if you claim the emote), 6 to unlock the second tier, 8 for the third and 10 for the fourth. So about four weeks of questing for one seasonal heart.

I am wondering if TGC considered moving the TS system to the lantern area - imagine if one could collect the cosmetics from the spirit after it is restored in the lantern. If we had daily TS, each spirit would have a chance to return more frequently. Current unique TS count is 86 based on TS wingbuffs, so each spirit will return every 86+ days or so, instead of 2 or 3 years. Unfortunately, the “lottery” element is also part of the fractured lantern system, but the chance of a spirit returning more frequently is higher.

Hi there! We appreciate the concern for your fellow members safety and privacy, but it's probably better to submit a report to #contact-mods for these. Mostly because bringing it up in public channels can have the opposite effect of drawing more attention to those posts and getting more people to go look at them vs. the mods quietly deleting them because of a report. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if mods were omnipresent and could delete the posts immediately, but sadly we need to sleep sometimes.
Again, thank you for bringing it to our attention, though. I'll go take a look now.
