About Switch and Android 8—I wanted to pop in and say, the team tried a lot of things over the last many months (not just during 0.30.0 beta testing) to find a way to make it possible to watch cinema videos on those devices, but we kept running into limits that could not be worked around. The last thing we want to do is exclude players for this, but unfortunately there wasn't a perfect solution.

The Two Embers should be released on Youtube, or some other accessible format. As TGC themselves stated, certain consoles will be unable to view Two Embers. Because of this, there should be episodes available on Youtube in order to ensure they will still be able to view Two Embers. This will have other benefits, such as generating hype and introducing new players to the world of Sky. There is no need for copyright, since TGC themselves owns everything related to the Two Embers. It will also allow people to get more involved in Two Embers and see it in a higher-quality screen.

Not that I'm aware of. Mainly, the version we introduced last year for SkyFest was designed to be a temporary part of a temporary event, so the design considerations were focused on the immediate needs and context of that event.

For it to be permanently available, the team wanted to put in more thought for the space—visuals, sound design, how to connect it with other aspects of the main game (I won't go into too much detail to avoid small 0.30.0 spoilers).
