I've always been annoyed of deep calls before the season starst, this season just 📈 it

I start deep-calling/honking if the vines doesn't want to burn and the server merged three times over already

The butterfly emote works just as efficiently AND without getting in other players' way, so it's frustrating.

Like I understand giving a call to startle the vines into responding, but you don't have to do it CONSTANTLY

one time the plant wasn't responding to three-player candles and once I got server split off, I just started honking hard until the vines are gone

I've never run into that issue of the vines just refusing to burn, so I guess I'm lucky on that front.

Instead I get stuck with the players who refuse to use their candles at all and just shout at the plants and butterflies alike without pause.

I've had to mute my game because the constant hollaring is such a problem.

If they have NOT been Deep Called, they respond just fine.

That's why I'm so annoyed by players constantly yelling, now.

I also just don't like the calls interfering with the music all the time, since I have no way to ask the other players to stop.

In that case, the black shard itself has the wax. If it doesn´t have it, then you either already picked it up or the server is being slow/laggy and is best to restart the game if you can help it.

If servers are slow/laggy, then wax won´t immediately show up on them; they´ll show up in time and when they do, you can return back to GW for the shard. :)

Yeah, this means that servers were slow/laggy. You can also see that with Darkness Plants; if they aren´t picked up, they glow blue with light traces; if they were, they glow dark blue; if they´re inactive, they´re almost completely black.

That's been a problem on PS since... Well, two years ago. The butterflies at the bottom of the shute from Granny's haven't lifted me more than about 3-4 Skykids in height for a loooooong time.

It's been like that for so long that I don't even bother trying to let them lift me anymore. I start flapping before my deep call, and use the butterflies to recharge my wings instead of lifting me.

If you honk while flying, the dye butterflies don't recharge you so the rain can drain your light.
If you honk while standing they add some light and lift you up.
Regular butterflies recharge either way.

With colored butterflies i just honk for them after collecting the colors when no one is around, they come back as normal ones and recharges a bit

Is the memory boat quest in Aviary broken on console/ps5?

It said to drag the icon to place the boat in the water but you can only press and not press and move.

When you press, the boat spawns always in the same place and can't be moved and you only swim around and get reset to the middle of the puddle when you swim too far.

I just had to finish the quest for her on android so she can continue with the Aviary tasks in console

The purpose of stress tests is to deliberately push servers to their limits to uncover any weaknesses or issues. This is to find out and to point out issues. This process is crucial for identifying areas of improvement, ultimately leading to a better and more reliable experience for everyone in the future. Let's hang in there while they work on enhancing the system!

Regardless of TGC doesn't have servers, the host provider AWS has, and the data plan and servers they provide do have their physical and technical server settings - database limitations. A stress test is very insightful for devs to stabilize the performance of the available resources in long term.

This is also crucial, because beta only has 10k or even less active testers so a stress test involving more players would be more useful to see how can servers hold up to a certain capacity and find out what they can improve on it. It's been done before for AURORA concerts, the encore etc

Agreeing and adding to that, beta servers are on entirely different servers of AWS (the latest database issues also pointed that out because beta players were unaffected), therefore testing the live servers and databases is very important.

Also built in simulators may not be able to replicate the natural player's behaviours so stress testing in live servers can be extremely useful
