I interpreted "Player Creations" to mean any arrangement of props, but I hope I'm wrong. However, I tested with the torch just now and I couldn't place it in the usual spot. It has to go away from the table, next to the seats :( But the soup tureen can go on the table; it's food. The bread is for dipping in the soup.

Another fun tip, I discovered you can place the chandelier in the elevator. The only item that seems to work this way. Stand in the hallway, aim the camera, and “randomly” drop the prop. Takes a lot of trial and error to get it lined up right
