Before the update it was possible for players to be in this position while flying, but it was uncommon and hard to replicate. Now you always fly in this position. I don’t know if it directly impacts flying or if other changes were made to the flying physics that are affecting it.

I would either feedback or bug report the player animation change because it is unmentioned in patch notes but was detected and reported in beta early on in the patch development cycle, so we still have no idea of if it’s intentional or not.

late to convo but as someone who's lived with the plant over spirits in beta until it hit live, it's like
the absolute best for forest 😭 no longer will the provoking performer/blowkiss be accidentally activated when I hold the candle near them it's a godsend

it's a win win for both new players and old tbh

for old it's avoiding accidental activation, for new it means they can find spirits somewhat easier because it stands out and players instinctively know after prairie temple/revival questline that they have to burn the dark plants to get a reward -> wax or reliving a spirit

what is the thread system?

creates an isolated temporary channel

the usual format of the outfit request channel is like this:

1. Someone makes a request
2. The fulfiller will create a thread and state that they are claiming the request inside the thread. This is important as it's a first come first serve for who will do the req.
   Sometimes the request maker makes it first but it's better for the fulfiller to do it because then at a glance other fulfillers can be like oh that was taken by someone else I'll skip it then
3. when complete, hit the request with so everyone knows it's done (some people don't and that's fine but generally better to mark it)

when there's multiple outfits in the same request, sometimes people claim by using 1️⃣ 2️⃣ 3️⃣ , and sometimes by using the if the requester used multiple colours to indicate different fits

it's all to make sure people know at a glance what's missing and where they can chip in to help

All communication regarding the request should also be inside the thread so the main channel doesn't get clogged up.

Yeah I agree! It also helped a lot w/ communicating with other fulfillers so double fulfills dont happen (i've seen my fair share in them and accidentally also fulfilled a request that was being worked on by someone else )

and requests not clogging up because of chat is just I LOVE IT I LOVE IT SO MUCH it's such a fun way to organize things i ask for (and i have a problem w/ that because i ask for so many things for OC refs and miss out sometimes)
