Certain things at an event zone can change as the event progresses. Maybe it was designed for that cake to appear only a couple of times. I ll try to remember and keep an eye on it. But, anyway, there is some wax just "flying" near that spot, and also a Clam that awards wax after completing the race.

How dare the game blame players for collecting something that was in the game?
I have been doing my best to collect as much as I can with the free time I have available, since I started the game last month. But today earlier the task that it’s already hard due to my schedule became even more difficult since all my seasonal candles were removed. I have never seen in years of playing online games from multiple companies a player been punished for a mistake made by the programmers. I haven’t downloaded anything illicit neither I caused a bug purposely, all I did was collect the candles the game was allowing, and purchased the seasonal pass with seems like I have been punished for(insane).
I have made friends in the game that have been playing for years without purchasing a single pass, which now I understand since that’s how your treat your costumers, I have easily spent more than a hundred dollars with I now regret. The bug that YOU made lasted 3h because YOU took 3 hours to correct it, the but that you have been allowing were some players go through the walls of the game have also have then an unfair advantage, are you planning in punishing then as well for your company mistake?
If it’s in the game it’s your fault and if took hours, days or years to fix it it’s also the companies responsibility only, trying to shift blame is so imoral that I am uncertain I wanna to continue play this game.

Plus it took me hours collecting not only those candles but also the ones from the daily missions which you also took all off.

it was a bug, regardless if it you took advantage of it or not thats what it was, either way we arent tgc and if you think it was unfair you can contact support, other wise theres nothing that will be done if you just talk about it here

also the part about chibi falling being unfair (going through walls) isnt seen as an unfair advantage cause everyone can get the chibi mask with enough effort, getting free candles easily like that bug was unfair cause A: not everyone had the season pass, and B: not everyone was online when that happened

Days of Color Ticket Location June 27, 2024 | Picture and Video Guide

You can get 5 event currencies a day: 4 around the event area, and 1 from completing the day’s color puzzle.

The 5th ticket is located on the highest island in the Sky islands. You can activate the wind stream that leads you there by completing today's color puzzle.

How can I do the puzzle?

1. Wear a cape matching the color platform of the spirits in the event area (use the cape wardrobe or geyser).
2. Stand near the spirits with the matching cape colors. You should see little particles from your cape filling up the color bridge.
3. Wait for the color bridges to be completed. Doing this solo can take up to 3-5 minutes, but it's faster with other players.
4. A cutscene should appear, activating the wind stream in the center that leads to the floating sky islands at the top.

It's not working! Why?

1. Internet connection affecting progress.
2. Server issues due to festival tech.
3. You haven't entirely completed the puzzle.
   Key indicators that the puzzle is activated or completed include encountering a cutscene of the floating sky islands and seeing the crystals on the active platforms glowing.

What can I do to resolve this?

1. Go home and wait for a few minutes before returning to the event area using the shrine or the meditation circle in the Aviary shop.
2. Press the home button in your emote menu then cancel it quickly with a movement before teleportation triggers. (From Tib)
3. Turn off your Wi-Fi and turn it back on once the yellow Wi-Fi icon appears and all other players in the area disappear. This will indicate that you're disconnected and will force a server change when you reconnect. (You can use Airplane mode for this.)

I noticed there are different elements contributing to the red shard difficulty levels.
High difficulty ones would have both shard crabs and swirling shards. Missing either one would not make it high difficulty.

we release our finger from the control yeah, but we have to keep holding the fly button. that's the main difference in the two setups. why it took me almost 3 years to figure that out till i saw a tutorial from 2 years ago

It took me weeks for me to Vertical Fly using a Controller, so I can do it on Switch and PlayStation

But still, you flew higher than I did, higher than the lowest cloud… so it should be possible on controller too, if you manage to fly into the right direction
Also: I noticed, when you start out of the ground covered with clouds they‘ll give you an extra boost

Yes the particle effect was happening, but the beam straightup wasnt changing at all for 10+ minutes. In this case the server was definitely bugged. Other beams werent changing either

Sorry for the ping! It took awhile, but I think I finally understand what you were talking about. I was about to make up a whole hypothetical situation, but I think it boils down to: "does any remainder wax get carried over until it eventually adds up or does it get zeroed out with every candle/chevron?"
My assumption is that it gets zeroed out every time because programmatically it would take more effort to carry over that remainder vs just saying if the value is higher than x then candle+1 and meter = 0.

So, you think the game adds all waxes one by one, and resets them every new candle? But any wax should carry over like usual, and if you collect few more wax it would still add up after the meter is set to 0 (just don’t do the animation).
I assumed they give the wax a value for the different chevrons, how many candles that wax is worth. But then it could be that it does not fit exactly with the candles, like you‘d need 93.8 wax instead of 94 or so at 3 chevrons. That‘s another thing that would make wax counting difficult.

For me it makes more sense that the candle meter would be something like 0/4000 and the value of wax is determined by the daily light system. So if you have full chevrons each wax adds something like 43 to the meter, but there will be some left over at the end and that's what I'm curious. If that extra 42 at the end gets carried over. Which it sounds like it does from what Gale and Pingubot have said.

You can get 5 event currencies a day: 4 around the event area, and 1 from completing the day’s color puzzle. The 5th ticket is located on the highest island in the Sky islands. You can activate the wind stream that leads you there by completing today's color puzzle.

How can I do the puzzle?

1. Wear a cape matching the color platform of the spirits in the event area (use the cape wardrobe or geyser).
2. Stand near the spirits with the matching cape colors. You should see little particles from your cape filling up the color bridge.
3. Wait for the color bridges to be completed. Doing this solo can take up to 3-5 minutes, but it's faster with other players.
4. A cutscene should appear, activating the wind stream in the center that leads to the floating sky islands at the top.

It's not working! Why?

1. Internet connection affecting progress.
2. Server issues due to festival tech.
3. You haven't entirely completed the puzzle.
   Key indicators that the puzzle is activated or completed include encountering a cutscene of the floating sky islands and seeing the crystals on the active platforms glowing.

What can I do to resolve this?

1. Go home and wait for a few minutes before returning to the event area using the shrine or the meditation circle in the Aviary.
2. Press the home button in your emote menu then cancel it quickly before teleportation triggers.
3. Turn off your Wi-Fi and turn it back on once the yellow Wi-Fi icon appears, and all other players in the area disappear. This will indicate that you're disconnected and will force a server change when you reconnect. (You can use Airplane mode for this.)

Ah yes. Switch has a factory issue: it has extremely picky and sensitive weak wifi antenna. A connection engineer told once even if you sit near wifi router it has package dropouts which results in glitches. If you dock it and plug the wired net into the dock you can avoid such switch issues

Once you complete all Revival Seasonal quests you will start seeing several shops open around Aviary Village. Another option to buy spells is at Ark (Golden Wasteland) if you already completed all the seasonal tasks (Enchantment Season iirc) to rebuild it.

For the regular spirits, you find the trees at the same place were you send light to your friends, by choosing the appropiate option.

iirc right after it finishes a season no, but from some time later yes, hearts offered by seasonal guides will cost 3 hearts. However, I am not sure if the hearts in the trees of the Board challenges will cost anything. Devs already stated at patchnotes that the tasks and gifts and items (including the ones at the top) will remain permanently available.

No. you need to watch 30 sunsets from your nest. Each time you go to your nest during the 10 minutes that sunset at Aviary Village is happening, will count towards the task. You can do it several times by visiting and exiting your nest during that 10 minutes period of time.

Days of Color Ticket Location June 29, 2024 | Picture and Video Guide

You can get 5 event currencies a day: 4 around the event area, and 1 from completing the day’s color puzzle.

The 5th ticket is located on the highest island in the Sky islands. You can activate the wind stream that leads you there by completing today's color puzzle.

How can I do the puzzle?

1. Wear a cape matching the color platform of the spirits in the event area (use the cape wardrobe or geyser).
2. Stand near the spirits with the matching cape colors. You should see little particles from your cape filling up the color bridge.
3. Wait for the color bridges to be completed. Doing this solo can take up to 3-5 minutes, but it's faster with other players.
4. A cutscene should appear, activating the wind stream in the center that leads to the floating sky islands at the top.

It's not working! Why?

1. Internet connection affecting progress.
2. Server issues due to festival tech.
3. You haven't entirely completed the puzzle.
   Key indicators that the puzzle is activated or completed include encountering a cutscene of the floating sky islands and seeing the crystals on the active platforms glowing.

What can I do to resolve this?

1. Go home and wait for a few minutes before returning to the event area using the shrine or the meditation circle in the Aviary shop.
2. Press the home button in your emote menu then cancel it quickly with a movement before teleportation triggers. (From Tib)
3. Turn off your Wi-Fi and turn it back on once the yellow Wi-Fi icon appears and all other players in the area disappear. This will indicate that you're disconnected and will force a server change when you reconnect. (You can use Airplane mode for this.)

You can buy props from the guide, it has a separate permanent shop that you can use candles, hearts and ascended candles

New Color!

You can get 5 event currencies a day: 4 around the event area, and 1 from completing the puzzle.

The 5th ticket is located on the highest island in the Sky islands. You can activate the wind stream that leads you there by completing today's color puzzle.

How can I do the puzzle?

1. Wear a cape matching the color platform of the spirits in the event area (use the cape wardrobe or geyser).
2. Stand near the spirits with the matching cape colors. You should see little particles from your cape filling up the color bridge.
3. Wait for the color bridges to be completed. Doing this solo can take up to 3-5 minutes, but it's faster with other players.
4. A cutscene should appear, activating the wind stream in the center that leads to the floating sky islands at the top.

It's not working! Why?

1. Internet connection affecting progress.
2. Server issues due to festival tech.
3. You haven't entirely completed the puzzle.
   Key indicators that the puzzle is activated or completed include encountering a cutscene of the floating sky islands and seeing the crystals on the active platforms glowing.

What can I do to resolve this?

1. Go home and wait for a few minutes before returning to the event area using the shrine or the meditation circle in the Aviary shop.
2. Press the home button in your emote menu then cancel it quickly with a movement before teleportation triggers. (From Tib)
3. Turn off your Wi-Fi and turn it back on once the yellow Wi-Fi icon appears and all other players in the area disappear. This will indicate that you're disconnected and will force a server change when you reconnect. (You can use Airplane mode for this.)

There’s only no constellation because there aren’t any spirits! The “spirits” this season are the four showcases of wooden furniture inside the Nesting Workshop. Those will be going away next reset, but they’ll be back as…TS? We know they’re coming back eventually

The two ultimate gifts offered by the Season Guide are also going away next reset, never to return.

All the seasonal quests (including that house party!), the Nesting Challenge Board and its rewards, and the weekly rotation of furniture available at the front counter will be permanently available after the season ends
