I'm really saddneded that the Aivery didn't get the gool pink grass patches that old home has. I didn't even realize old Home was unique like that till I loaded up in my alt today to do something. It's so pretty and would have looked amazing in Aivery if they kept with having seasonal and days of changes. I wish having old home as your home was actually more viable.

well just to speak to the recent shader changes, the table has lost its textures and shared memories and spaces have turned completely grey

I spent 20 minutes fiddling with my HDR settings last night, taking screenshots for comparison purposes... Specifically because of that HDR issue. I even spent an additional several minutes looking up why HDR might look washed out, and practically all of them didn't apply.

My only recourse was accept it, or shut off HDR entirely.

Hey guys, after doing a lot of backreading and testing here is a tentative list of what seasons/quests aren't available to play normally due to parts of meditation circles being bugged and not triggering quests, tasks, warps or cutscenes, and if there are workarounds.

• Assembly: ✅ /❌ You will need to be in a server with at least one other person doing the same quest simultaneously to complete tasks, as you can join them from the activity icon above their head. (Issue pre-0.24.5) However some quests fail to start on some devices, blocking season progression. This needs more player data.
• Flight: ✅ /❌ Identical to Assembly.
• Abyss: ❓ Meditation to enter the quest(s) needs testing as they can not be replayed.
• Shattering & Red Shards: ❌ Light creature memory gathering task does not start after meditating. Red shards have also been facing the same, separate problem as Assembly & Flight where you'll need to join another player's activity to see the task.
• AURORA: ❌ Meditation to start all four quests are not successful. Players are not warped to the memory relive sequence.
• Remembrance: ✅/❌ Meditation to start certain quests is unsuccessful on some device types, blocking season progression. This needs more player data.
• Passage: ✅ /❌ Meditation to reach nighttime isle OK. Entrance to/completion of all 4 Passages OK. However, the Season Guide is missing for some devices/players making progress impossible. These players will need to try to enter seasonal area on a different device. (Issue pre-0.24.5)
• Moments: ❓/❌ Similar to Assembly/Flight, but it seems players can't progress regardless of joining in the activity due to the environment you need to photograph not being responsive.
• 9CD: ✅ /❌ Meditation to start quests OK. Some devices are unable to see/finish cutscenes in quests, causing game crashes. This needs more player data.

If a season is not on this list, either the meditation is unaffected, the season has no meditation-triggered quests/tasks, or I missed something. Please keep suggesting workarounds if you find them.

An issue likely adjacent to this is the meditation-activated Hermit Race ❌ in Valley, which on some devices will not load required objects when transitioning to the second room and crash the game.

Understandable...I understand can be difficult doing a shard when have responsibilities, but best try & do it in one shot, as the dark plants will reset after a time.

Once I got to the last torch, where they covered the gap, things went downhill fast... I kept getting constantly knocked down, just to get back up, just to get knocked down, just tog et back up... And then passes the dune was hard to see through the rocks and red... The issue at the end could be partly because it's my first Eden run on PS5, but still that was NOT fun.

ohh the end of eden kinda always sucks but . idk i hated crawling sinc ei joined the game when that wasnt a thing.

and i also had the knock down thing a lot but even tho it was awful. i can confidently say i got to the dunes with the last 3 statues with WAYY more wl than i usually did. since crawling was just that slow.

so even if the end is suffering at least people should have a bit more wl by the end to afford some of the constant knocking doen :’)

I'd rather take the crawling. It was more consistent. I felt like the animations were so much worse. I got animation locked in the early part somehow and lost 20 WL or so. Before even getting into the heavier rock rain.

i kinda had a similar experience with crawling. where i wouldnt get hit for a period. and when i got hit again i got stick in the animation of the sky kid falling over

so i got hit waiting for that to finish before i could move again.

Update on meditation circles: based on backreading all 0.24.5 player reports, it can be assumed that all Seasons that have meditation circles in them are now bugged in some fashion across some manner of devices. It is a multi-faceted issue that started some patches ago and drastically worsened in 0.24.5.
Please be aware that this is one unaffiliated individual testing and collecting evidence. Please continue to report issues you find with the meditation circles in #report-a-live-bug so it’s on TGC’s radar.

Manta call is especially full of suffering: fast-moving light pieces, citadel wind gusts, the big orrery centerpiece as obstacle course, and the timer. At least with Pleaful Parent, the krills have predictable paths.

Omg guys be careful collecting spells from the seasonal spirts. I just got my “gift spell” from tier 2 feudal lord and it activated and shrunk me as soon as I collected it from him.

It was a permanent spell. A terrible bug
