Purple wax didn't stop dropping/appearing while me n my partner waited around forever for the meteor shower to happen
But I can't say whether or not the wax drop rate increases when it Does happen

Okay, so I THINK the meteor shower runs approximately from :05 to :15 and from :35 to :45 every hour

I don’t believe it has any bearing on wax generation, the area produces wax with or without the show, it’s just pretty to look at with loved ones

Thoughts on latest quest? I am massively disappointed that it's literally a cutscene with no activity besides taking 5 steps. I feel like they could have at least had us save the villager, or be the deer, or something to make it interactive and not feel like such a let down after waiting 2 weeks for it.

Also there really wasn’t much we could do, since the story is told with us as the child alongside the deer. Quest 3 acts more as a set up for the main climax of the story, with the Feudal Lord now knowing of the deer’s existence and the Princess wanting it for it’s pelt

The final two quests are great though, and I’m eager to play them in live for sure

Well, it is Days of Love. All heart gifts (and light gifts) are doubled. So if you have friends that are active, maybe sending them a little love (a heart) might get you some in return? It's also still, technically, Days of Fortune, so the 5 heart pack should still be available for 2 more days. All is not lost, heart wise.
