I was able to complete the first 9 colored deer quest without losing any WL, here's how I did it:

• Be careful not to touch any of the darkness plants, they drain your energy very very fast.
• Keep moving forward, but when the krill appears stop and let it hit you.
• It should take you down to your last flame but not knock off any WL. If you stay away from the plants your light will regenerate slowly. You can continue moving forward cautiously.
• Make sure you're standing well away from any darkness plants the second time you get spotted so you don't get stuck on one in the cutscene. You should be safe after that!

Man, I wish they wouldn't do "with a friend" dailies for the first week of a new season. People are reporting that their constellations show their friends offline, even though the know they're actively playing. And with the crashes, I have a few friends who wait 2-3 days for it to settle, meaning they barely come on to rush dailies, if that. T_T

Just pick up the mystery size potions until you get the height you're after. It's the only way. Be patient. I made the mistake of picking up a bunch of them and then getting lucky, so now I have leftovers that'll forever go unused.

||❗ These darkness plants are not your friend! Do not attempt to burn them and keep well away from them! Hoard your precious light because you're going to need it.

You cannot escape the krill. The krill is inevitable. If you try to run from the krill you may get stuck in a darkness plant. Simply stand in the open and accept your fate.

🦌 The deer is doing its best but sometimes the cutscene sticks you in a plant. Try to stay far away from the plants the second time you're spotted to prevent this.

If you've already finished your quest and have nothing to do try joining a winged light patrol and fly the canyon looking for other players' dropped WL.||

If my math is correct, you can miss up to 15 days: you’d have 93 candles remaining if you bought everything (and if you got your 5 yesterday)

Oh I didn't think so? I saw a lot of players complaining about losing a lot of wings and saying it was a glitch so I figured I'd just wait to do the quest

you kind of were but only at the end when the deer gives you your lost wl back (which is scattered on the ground) but since there are plants you lost some in those cutscene and that is bugged and shouldn’t be happening so the wl you’ve lost, you should get back from the deer but since you loose it after/during the deer cutscene it doesn’t give you it back afaik
