I’m annoyed by the initial storyline quest. The dark plants and even the logs over the path don’t work as cover against the krill, because it’s scripted, which feels unfair. And the long, unskippable cutscene at the end of the path just looking ahead, when there’s a bunch of random invisible patches on the ground that rapidly drain your single remaining star, meant I lost another batch on top of the one from the krill. I very nearly quit out before the deer could show up

don’t know if anyone responded to this yet but they didn’t work against the Nine Colored Deer krills. Usually a shield of light appears and it deflects the krill (or whatever else) and your light fully refills and then your mask goes dark (until you recharge it at its corresponding temple) but I was wearing one in the cutscene and NOTHING.

yes, we just can't access them because there's a bug preventing you from completing the reliving of the seasonal spirits memory. after you watch the concluding cutscene, the camera just keeps panning upward and won't let you regain control of your character. you can't even open your menu to go home

getting out of that camera panning is what concludes the reliving. allowing you to use the expression and see the spirits friendship menu in the season constellation

but there's bug reports for this issue on all devices right now so I don't think anyone's been able to access them yet

guys I know we’re frustrated about the prices, but if we’d wanted anything to change we wouldn’t have bought the expensive stuff back when it started showing up in TLP. AURORA showed us that TGC knows now that there are enough wealthier people in its player base that they can do this sort of stuff, and I don’t think they’re going to change anything at this point. There’s no point in insulting each other over it.
(EDIT: Just a side note: I wasn’t able to buy any of the bonus stuff from TLP or AURORA either, and I remember being disappointed when those IAPs appeared but I also remember how so many people didn’t even question it and dropped real-world money for the cute but useless fox plushie. It’s just the frequency of the IAPs being the bigger part of a season that’s increased.)

Season pass is nice, cosmetics are awesome, totally worth the price.

Keep in mind you will still need to do daily quests everyday to get things. We usually can skip around two weeks worth of daily quests as pass holder, while non pass holder get 1-3 days

Nothing to hate about pass. If you like the cosmetics this season have, go for it

It’s still a collaboration season. Any time there’s an area that will only be able to be accessed by certain players with a certain cosmetic (in this case, the cape) there tend to be issues. But I also don’t remember the last time a season rolled out without a lot of glitches. Hence why I wish TGC would take an off season and let their team catch up on the work so that they’re not feeling obligated to release unfinished seasons. Anyone remember the season where things were broken until halfway through? All the carried items were appearing as a blank backpack? This stuff is nothing new.

TLP had the asteroid cape, it gave access to a special area that you could only access if you had the cape or were holding the hand of someone with the cape. It would teleport you like the aurora wings but not an active event.

It was announced in the patch notes:
“This iridescent cape will receive an added special teleport ability in the 0.24.5 update. This becomes usable after completing all of the Season’s quests, directly transporting the wearer and friends they hold hands with to a tranquil location and allowing them to view the magical creature.”

hot take, there should be base game antlers, nothing too flashy so they don't outshine the other antlers, like basic ones. I don't understand why there isn't more antlers in the game ngl, there's multiple shapes and sizes of antlers to take inspo from so they don't get repetitive 😭 ion get it
