I think the "Light all" option was stated as something TGC won't do because lighting people is supposedly meant to be meaningful. Even as someone who doesn't mind having to manually light everyone, that's kinda lame imo

it looks like it'll be a great way for new players to learn how to play the game, except for no real introduction to music sheets and props

but as someone who's already done all the season quests up until now, it was really dull to complete the quest every week in less than 2 minutes

Honestly my biggest gripe with this season are the "Spirits". I love it when the seasons characterize the spirits (Abyss, performance, moments to some extent). The "Spirits" this season were essentially just cosmetics. I understand why it was like this but it still sucked

what’s the max amount of event candles you earn per season?

It depends on the length of the season and whether you have the seasonal pass (and what day you got the pass), as well as if there is a double seasonal candle event during the season (which adds 7 to the total)
Without the SP, you can get 5 per day, and with it you get 6 per day.
For revival, which is 77 days long and had a double candle event, you can have a max of 392 without the SP, and 499 with it (maybe more if you had bugged duplicate SP candles).
Pretty sure I have the math right.

Switch did miss candles? There are issues with some of the quests at the start of the season that didn't reward after completion, the hotfix and the compensation was for that but switch didn't get the hotfix, the issue is still there for switch and they've been told to contact support for compensation

hmm, I don't see anything about fixing missing candles in the hotfix patch notes, just that it was moved a second time.
I haven't had any issues personally, though I know the meditation quest has been bugged for other players (but that's an issue even on the hotfix), and friendship quests being bugged earlier (but the compensation was sent for that in the mail)
The only missing candles I'm aware of beyond that is players not knowing where the SP candles got moved to between 0.23.4, 0.23.5, and 0.23.6.

The quests werent crazy but the bits early on of freeing the rhythm and enchantment guides and seeing them react was neat. Kinda wish they kept that for all the guides, heh. I think the result of the quests was the best part, having that try on room all setup with the guides and a lot of little fun bits

When you enter the memory portal afterwards there is a wing light to collect, and you will have access to Season of Shattering. Just be careful to avoid the red shards and the large red shard crabs cause both can take your wing lights. It’s best to go with a friend if you’ve never done it before
