CR Isle (including earth and fire trial which are fast with the skips), Valley & Vault. Do geyser (twice), Granny (twice) and Turtle. You can get 20 candles in 2.5-3 hours. Do that for the 4 days the TS is present = 80 candles.

The slower option for fire trial is to have a friend offer you a candle (not just the red candle you light stuff with) the whole way - makes you both invulnerable. Then just walk thru the intended route.

Is there a progress to the story in Cackling crab? Last week; ||Jenova is shapeshifting between person and crab, and is pranking us by turning us into crabs. We free the witch girl in the prison cell, she comes out and sees the others brainwashed. The “Fox person” who we first I interact with (Samantha?) comes down and sees the others brainwashed and eventually comments on the mysterious crab wearing Jinova’s party hat. (Jinova in disguise).||

From what ive picked up, more space for potentially cooler events / more spirits as shopkeepers, and speculation on my part is room for more than one TS and possibly something where shattering spirits could come back.

Also maybe they could just feel rather limited with what they can do with the current hub, and wanted to do more. I think a bunch of the days of events place a dock out the back to have more room

For most Seasons, Seasonal Spirits will appear in their Seasonal area, yes. (This wasn't always the case for the earlier Seasons of Sky, like Gratitude and Rhythm.)

However, Revival is unique in that it has no Seasonal spirits. All the cosmetics are purchased from mannequins inside a shop building at the new area (Aviary Village).

honestly i’m a little confused on the new policy with the event items.
is there any way to get the horns aside from spells this year? i saw it was from a spirit but i cant click on him

TGC has made the decision to not bring back IAPs from 2 years or longer. They will be returning at a later date as to not overwhelm the players with so many options. However when they received major backlash for this change, they brought back all IAPs for only ios and android devices. Afaik they werent able to bring them to consoles due to limitations with their stores and how often they can release updates.

*moving forward they will continue to only offer IAPs from the current year and the year before for future events

It was a spirit NPC that represented Jenova Chen. In the first phase, he was jailed. In the second phase, he escaped and placed the Crab Curse on players who interacted with him. In the third phase, he's back in jail. (And it's implied that it wasn't actually Jenova who was cursing kids.)

So, honestly, I never really liked the main theme of sky. Its too slow, and does not have any kinda, swing to it.

But aviary village? Well, I think I love it. This is a beautiful bittersweet song with a strong melody, that I don't think I will get tired of.

I'll be happy to have this as a new home theme.
