The only argument against ults coming back that has made even a little sense to me is that original players had to pay for the season pass. So if they do come back, something would need to require money to make it fair.

That’s the one I’ve seen the most relating to ults, which… kinda makes sense, but also I feel like I’ve been in that conversation so many times that it’s all become one massive word soup.

The thing is I just hope they cycle through them without duplicates. For example how Sassy came back 4 times, no hate to Sassy but it is the most well known example.

With this new system and with 76 spirits counting every season except Shattering because we don't know how that will play out. That's a little over a year of spirits at the TS Schedule. Now if they increase the time around these events to be two weeks like it is now then.. I'm going have to do a little more math put it should put us at a little over a year and a half.

Also ults are more than just, "bought the season pass" you had to spend time logging in doing dailies to get them. I think if they were to return it should still require a similar amount of, putting in effort over time to acquire them.

ts system was not well received when it first came out. because the first four seasons WERE implied they would never return after the season ended. since rhythm though everyone should have been expecting things to return in some fashion after the season

we got like a few weeks into rhythm before ts system was announced so most players who were getting a season pass bought it by that point and still felt betrayed. there was a not well received offer for compensation back then as well. things were pretty messy when new systems got added. rhythm itself was not well received because it was a repeat (albeit polished) of the winter season pre-release.

I don't like the idea of locking the ults behind ac though. if some level of work is involved and some level of irl money. it shouldn't be locked behind shard events and eden because BOTH of those are not accessibility friendly to a multitude of disabilities. daily quests are relatively easy to accomplish and doable by most everyone even if with help from a friend. so post season it should still be that level of doable even if the work is longer. it shouldn't be harder

The way I do it, I try to get up high then then dive right as the Krill launches at me. That usually gets me out of the way, or at least mostly out of the way.

I think you weren't entirely behind the pillar. Looked like the Krill was focused on the smaller player, who was a little away from the wall, but the taller player was the first point of collision so the Krill hit them instead.

Or maybe the Krill's face was inside the wall, and therefor able to see through? I dunno, it's hard to tell from this angle, but it certainly is on the unfair side.

There are two different speeds, depending on where you at
If you stand around the lantern it'll be slower (a little bit quicker if you stand close to it) but if you stand on the mantas it'll be much quicker

I’ve posted this in feedback, but also wanted to share here to see what players think!
Concerning bringing back ultimate gifts. This new TS system looks really promising, I think a lot of players are big fans of this, and with a few tweaks I think it could definitely help balance the economy and reduce stress on candle running significantly. Here’s a possible idea that I think could be nicely tied in with this system! Bringing back ultimate gifts from that season through the Seasonal Guide in home space. It would require owning the current season pass or having owned the season pass for that specific season (perhaps for players that bought it but were never able to fully complete the constellations). A candle, heart or ascended candle purchase could also be necessary, or perhaps even a new currency? And to be legible to buy the ultimate gift players should have purchased every cosmetic from each spirit in that season, to keep things fair. I think the extra effort required here balances out the ‘rarity’ of the item, and perhaps prices could be adjusted based on how beloved the ultimate gift is or how old that season is.

Sorry, I didnt see your reply. I can imagine shard events being worse than Eden in those respects, especially the noise. But could you do the milder ones, like the Prairie Caves red shards? They’re easier and short without too much drama.

some people may prefer to put stuff about Eden behind spoilers so that moths don't get spoiled unless they actually want to be, and that's the only channel that explicitly says "do not go in here if you don't want spoilers"

i have ac saved up if thats what youre trying tohelp with? i just was (half jokingly) whining that i didnt want to spend a lot of it at once and was holding off buying the buffs right away because of how unnecessarily difficult it is for me to earn ac tgc just assumes prices are fair in game based on people being able to earn the maximum possible so things like the elder masks are unattainable for me. ive been saving for if vault elder ever comes so that in particular is why throwing 6 ac away in one go is a little heartbreaking when i can only earn about 3-6 per week with help so i dont even have a guarantee of that much.

cosmetics arent gendered by tgc though. any gender assignments on clothing is on an individual basis by the player so theres no pink tax in sky. its just your favorite item is still waiting to return. with 60+ old spirits, theres a lot of people waiting on favorite items to return. theres a lot of cosmetics in the base constellation to use while waiting. we got a dress added on hide and seek spirit tree and theres several long hair options as well as two pink capes (all usually seen as feminine by players)

To add to Kia's message, note that you can mix and match your items by sex. So you can wear a moustache with a dress. It's not like you pick your sex and then get offered only items which 'fit' that sex. I see plenty of 'girly' skykids with female everything. If anything it's harder to find things that make a skykid look definitely male.

hii, i hope this isnt overstepping or anything, and i know you werent actually actively asking for any "help", but honestly, i am a pretty new player and try to get as many shard events as i can manage to catch up with wing buffs--and i luckily dont have any struggles with flashing lights or anything similar-- so i wouldnt at all mind if you just tag along to a shard with me and just hang back somehwere where you feel safe and not trigger any discomfort while i [and maybe others] do the shard. [close enough so we dont risk a server split]
i often do cr's with my friend where one of us can just do their daily whatever irl thing, so i dont mind at all if we were to do this for the red shards.

Only one of the four has returned as a TS before, and that one's prices stayed the same. I'd say that overall they look average for the number of items offered.

It really is a great change for the game. I know us beta testers have been asking for it for awhile, so I'm glad it's been in development!

I think right now, short term, this is going to be really expensive for the newer players, but in the long run it will be a great way to make the TS pool smaller and more attainable.

I’m pleased as peaches with TGC trying to remove the FOMO out of TS shopping by making them occur more frequently. Even though their prices will not change, it’ll teach players that it’s okay to not buy everything at once, they’ll come back sooner than 2+ years from now lol. I’m glad that so far most of the playerbase is receptive to that idea

To be fair, players still get to choose out of the 4 spirits they’ve been presented with. They can clean them all out if they can afford it, or focus on just one or mix and match if they can’t. It’s all about choice

the only thing we need now is a better way of getting candles. i get the reasoning behind the chevron system, but the rate we get more wax added to the world is so slow and it gets really annoying to collect candles after a while, even just running the daily quests and bonus candle realms
