My smartphone died the second I was making the screenshot of the wing lights on top of the last quest's giant red shard. It was the memory with lots n lots of small shards that allow you to climb up all the way and recharge while you go and all around giant ships and other things are floating.

The two results of my crash are

1. I didn't collect it (do these rotate too or are they once only during the quest?)

2. the screenshot file is corrupted and can't be opened.

Does anyone know if the wl of that memory are in fact 2 wl hugging? It was hard to make out with all the glow and bloom killing my battery life.

Also I didn't know, you could complete one shard drop repeatedly and finish your quest on day 1, shard 1 in one go.

Sounds like you were in the Elder memory (and that’s the last memory). If you haven’t interacted with the shattering guide to finish the last quest node, then you’ll be able to visit this Elder memory to collect the WL again. However, if you have completed all the quests, you’ll have to wait for the memory to show up— because memories show up randomly for each red shard day after completing all Shattering quests

Regarding the WL, it is actually just 1 WL, but it is in the shape of 2 kids hugging

You can do the Shard Event multiple times, but you can only get the AC Reward ONCE, the same is true for the Wax Reward from Black Shards

The rain is what causes the timer to go down. If you find cover along the way you can wait for the timer to recover.

May I suggest you to look a bit at the area first? Where your skykid is protected from the rain, will also protect the timer of the spirit from running out.

I'm sorry it's been rough for you! I don't think anybody's pumped about it being today's daily spirit, so you're definitely not alone in that frustration :') For next time, you can try server splitting from other players by going Home and then using the return shrine after a bit.

there is a bug since Update 20.0 that broke the correct spawning of the beach clam.

We have some strange server merges that makes dark plant auto burn and the beach clam does not appear

It seems like you have to be super lucky for the giant clam to appear right now with its current bug. I’ve only seen it once since it started, and it was when the turtle’s darkness was also there. The server often merges, which is why the darkness isn’t always there, but if it is and you get to burn it, the giant clam will appear afterward as it’s supposed to.
This isn’t advice or saying to try (I’ve tried to make this happen several times to no avail), because it really is just based on luck. Hopefully the bug is fixed soon

Not christian (ofc) but I lured quite a few crabs away with a recharge props as they charge for those as soon as you place it/light it up. Recharging prop is probably really helpful, if you've none there's one sold at the assembly quest giver

Well, the tip is to keep dodging all the time, when the Shard Crabs shakes and its eyes are white, it's seconds away from charging at you

I know shattering is old now but can I just say one of the most infuriating things in this game is having to do a whole hard red shard by yourself and then as soon as you finish but before starting the last part it finally merges you into a new server with people where they just started it and you have to start all over

Ah, you don't need to fill the bar for the quest! That just shows how close you are to reaching the item cap. All that's needed is the chime to be placed on the mat next to the Veteran.

That is weird... The quest requires the chime to be placed very particularly, so your friend might need a few tries to place it right; you can watch the Veteran spirit's reaction when putting it down to see if they emote positively.

Be sure that they name & save the shared space after placing the chime, too! Or else it doesn't count, haha. /gen

if you can, i suggest learning the oob shortcuts so you don't have to deal with the stairs and spending candles on spells
