hi the past two days the seashell hasn't appeared on the beach during sanctuary sunset, even after the dark plant on the turtle's back has been cleared. is this an on-purpose change? a bug? or am i just not getting server merged properly?

It's a bug that's been reported quite a few times!

It looks like this update broke somehow the sequence needed for the seashell or clam to appear on the beach after the dark plant on the Turtel's back dissappear. Most times that dark plant is auto-burning even under the water. And when that happens...the seashel /clam remains invisible /inaccessible.

Still need to get a group to go to Turtle and see if it works when we're all actually there for the plant burning.

• Non-SP Holder:

Every single node: 376
Minus top blessing nodes*: 340

Number of that can be acquired daily

• SP Holder: 6 /day
• Non-SP Holder: 5 /day

Number of Days needed to completed entire constellation

• SP Holder: (388 - 30) / 6 = 59.7 days = 60 days
• Non-SP Holder:

Every single node: 376 / 5 = 75.2 days = 76 days
Minus top blessing nodes*: 340 / 5 = 68 days

Number of Days that can be missed

• SP Holder: 17 days
• Non-SP Holder:

Every single node: 1 day
Minus top blessing nodes*: 9 days

*The blessing near the top of the Wounded Warrior spirit tree is not necessary for non-SP holders since it does not grant additional cosmetic.

Some thoughts on the new daily light system

• If a 10 candle runner needs 120 more wax than before update to get the same candles that's unfair for those who have little time to play.
• One might say in the company that 100 additional wax was added with 2 candle cakes but that makes player obligated to candle run those areas. Moreover more wax to choose from in realms still doesn't mean that they get more wax in the same time - not at all.
• I'm thinking about ita affect on social interactions as well. If a person even in real life has less money or have to work more for the same amount, it's very unlikely that person would happily stop by to chat and spend time with others. This inflation can have a damaging effect on social interactions.
• It would be so much better and make more sense to have social wax activities and games where lighting each other and sending 2 messages + doing something together for a minute for 100 wax reward. That would boost social interactions, but this inflation is not okay.

Tried out different kind of placements for the quest, thought it’d be interesting to share. Also, some unsolicited tips :

• The bar on the upper left side of the screen indicates the free space for more items, not something you need to max out to make the spirit happy
• You can decorate it with lots of things. However, the spirit only need the windchime
• Contrary to popular belief, the windchime can be placed anywhere as long as it’s within the rectangle mat area.
• You’re good to go if the bottom notification says ”The spirit is feeling better! Save your shared space once you’re done building to finish the quest.”

Some troubleshooting tips if your quest won’t complete/ trouble with the quest ;
☐ Enter the shared space via the blue diamond near Remembrance Guide
☐ No pencil icon to enter shared space? >> delete your previous shared space (the one with little star )
☐ Save shared space & name it (important), press send/enter from keyboard (not ✔️)
☐ If windchime doesn’t show up, clear your shared space (click on the x on the upper left bar)

So, In 3 of the 4 memories, guards are shown as an enemy (the 4th kinda does its own thing), and in all 3 memories with guards we see a female spirit "interacting" with them. In the first, when the two "good" soldiers stop at the flower shop, they are attacked and the female shopkeeper presumably dies there. In the second, the wife/caretaker of the old man goes to get food or something and sneaks past guards, clearly scared of them. And in the third, the mother is straight up taken away, while her son is left. What if the war was some super extreme kind of discrimination against women?

I eventually did it. The thing that was stopping me, once I understood it, was that I didn't know that I needed to find my original shared space, or how to find it, when I was told it wasn't good enough and had to change it. In trying every possible thing, I ended up trying all the candles around the white diamond and one of them had just a single star on it. That one turned out to be what I needed to go back to the shared space I had originally designed. Thanks for asking. I found that entirely unintuitive.

Ok im here just for a second and don’t know where to ask but,
What the exact story of the spirit with the crazy hair and oversized cape?
Like i understood his (probably) son went away to become a guard, but when the guard comes back is it his son coming to arrest him? Is it some guard informing that his son died? Is it something else?

I kept pressing the tick this morning and i couldnt finish the quest 😛 so I tried the send buton and it worked

I interpreted it as other soldiers coming to inform that his son has died. that’s why later on in the quest, we can see the veteran meeting his son as a spirit
