It suddenly occurred to me that if we view the concert privately with the wings, it still wont give us the same amazing feelings as the official concert because coliseum will be so empty and parts of what made the premiere so grandiose and wholesome today - the huge number of skids are not there. This is more of a complaint sadly, 50 candles for a mask is alot on its own,
But 200 for an outfit that's been getting teased all month is just kinda upsetting...

It makes it VERY unwelcoming to people who have already spent a lot of money on the iap to even get the season pass. They could have just hid it behind seasonal candles but it's almost manipulative to mess with people's feelings and then put a price tag on it.

they did for prairie caves, gw bonfire, forest bonfire and valley temple but the ones i mentioned are unchanged

If you hit all three events in the hour (Geyser, Grandma, and Turtle) and go for the big ticket candles (do all of the big ticket Sanctuary Island after Geyser and then Forest Brook before Grandma and maybe the sliding race at triumph) you will generally get 15-17 candles for your effort and should take roughly an hour if you’re efficient.

also i hardly recommend trying to gray your candle with 20 candle crs because its sooo emotionally taxing, just settle for whatever youre comfortable with
even getting the first 15 candles to deplete your chevrons is good enough since the last 5 gets harder to collect (which basically means doing a full cr in each realm for it lol)

Turtle happens at X:50 after reset and every two hours after in the back of Sanctuary. There are a bunch of clams that spawn with a metric butt tonne of light a la grandma.

just as a reminder that the wax from the turtle itself shares the same cap as grandma iirc? but the giant clam that spawns, the plant/wax that spawns on the turtle and the shells that spawn near the one underwater area are its own seperate wax

This is correct but you can run all three within the hour, collect all the wax and not hit that cap. I usually hit cap about 3/4ths of the way thru 2nd grandma of the day.

after you finish a concert you go to the meditation room and inside a starry aurora will be in the corner and you can hug her

If it is helpful here is what my schedule is:
X:00 - log on and fly to polluted geyser at sanctuary
X:05 - polluted geyser starts
X:15 - polluted geyser ends
Sanctuary Island collection:
-candle cake by “bells”
-darkness and candle cake on the way down the waterfall hole
-darkness in crab cave
TELEPORT HOME

• enter forest and proceed thru collecting all of the light in Forest Brook
  X:33 - aim to be finished collecting all light in Forest Brook and head to Grandma
  X:35 - grandma starts
  X:45 - grandma ends
  IMMEDIATELY teleport home and fly to Sanctuary Island
  X:50 - Turtle begins here is the most efficient order of business for this event:
• try to get here a little early and locate the turtle (WHY: -right at X:50 the turtle spawns a bunch of darkness plants on their back which sometimes gets burnt away automatically which makes it hard to find the light after the fact so try to locate turtle before beginning of event)
• once all the darkness plants are burnt a giant clam spawns on the beach (lil cinematic will show you) immediately open it
• once main clam is done there are about 8-10 clams in the water, there will be a few close to where you opened the giant clam, a few in the underwater ravine and a few across the ravine from giant clam, grab those
• once that’s done just follow the turtle around gathering up their minty lil trail
  X:00 - turtle ends and you should have about 14-17 candle profit within the hour

I forgot to say… for me the doll is 95. I was going to buy the wings plus voice for 40 so it made sense for me because I basically get the doll for 55. If it were part of the similar Disney NuiMo line it would be about 83 (23 plus 15 for each outfit plus 15 for accessories plus 15 for wig). I almost never cry, but seed and child made me burst out in tears. I’m so glad that my friends were there, so I wasn’t feeling so alone.
It was mainly because of a war theme, and all the losses we saw. I live in a country that is unfortunately in war right now, and this songs brought back all of thousands feelings. It’s like I was back in the fist day, when I had just found out what happened, and spent days trying to contact my friends and family living in Ukraine. I’m still glad that the concert was so powerful, but it was very hard for me in that moment.

Besides all of my favorite moments, I’m also just incredibly impressed that I got through the whole experience without any glitches. Like, remembering Dreams when I couldn’t even relive some of the spirits, I’m so impressed that TGC pulled off a season this ambitious with so few hiccups.

Like I decided to check out videos of concerts put on in another very popular online game and while graphically they were impressive, players still were only able to experience them with a dozen or so other people at a time, it seems. The fact that TGC found a way to allow us to come together with thousands of other players simultaneously really made for an incredible experience.

Haha fr fr. I haven’t made any IAPs yet, but I’m thinking the Wings of Aurora are absolutely worth the price since they allow you to return to the concert after the season. Waaaaay more worth it than the asteroid cape from TLP, which iirc was $10 more than the Wings.

100% agree. I think this experience really shows where TGC’s heart is at. I love that players are passionate about wanting to have a say in making Sky better, but get frustrated with criticism that assumes bad intentions on the part of TGC. They clearly put a ton of effort into creating an experience that brings players together and are essentially only making money off of the concert’s virtual merch booth. They probably could have generated millions more in revenue by requiring a season pass to attend the concert or even charging a couple bucks admission, but they kept it free to make sure everyone has the opportunity to experience it and put a ton of work into ensuring a smooth experience.

Ngl, the concert did give me some small hope back in TGC

Not only did they have to try doing something that could very well fry the servers, but they also had to make new models/movement mechanics for several creatures, and the special animations and functions towards the end show a lot of hard work put into the experience. While I get upset at several things like major bugs or steep prices, I won't pretend this concert isn't a small saving grace in my eyes

It's an amazing experience, and one I'm happy to have been a part of

Just go and enjoy! If you're sensitive to flashing lights and brightness though then be wary, because there is a lot of that

Will calls be an issue? Back when they were testing on beta I heard the noise from calls were drowning out Aurora's singing

I think they adjusted it so the calls aren't that loud while she's singing, but you can still see the flashing from them

Calls flashing is an absolute issue if you're sensitive to that, and I kinda wish there had been a way to keep them from happening
