Well since there are different size scales that we can be assigned to that can mean we could be taller or shorter than friends, that's why comparing as chibi works well because you can line up and see the differences between each other if you feel like you're taller than your friends even without shoes on then you could be on a taller scale than them, but there's unfortunately no way to tell for sure if you're on the tallest scale I don't think
