I don't think there is only one "best" place and it differs from people to people personally I feel like Valley itself is very photogenic, Forest has a very soothing vibe, Vault has a bit of that starry night feel, Prairie has the vibrant colours ^^. Even Wasteland can be a nice place to take picture, depends how you view it really. Isle itself is a hidden beauty as well

Gamewise that's not really how u keep people invested in a game. Having an exceedingly expensive item that is dependent on if the player has lots of friends that will like them enough to even get a heart makes people not be bothered

you can just,,, not buy the cape, there are other white capes out there and besides, the white cape's been 50 hearts since it was first implemented and sky's playerbase has been engaged the entire time. if anything i think the white and black capes are more fairly priced than the other expensive items because unlike them, they never go away so you have an infinite amount of time to save up hearts
also sometimes things just take a while, be patient! it took me several months to get the black cape, suck it up and use your refunded candles to trade hearts with your friends
