I wish you guys on the mod team were given more information before these things rolled out, or at least as they do, so that when players come here to ask questions or express concerns, you could have that information available to you.
It's really hard to fulfill the role when you're not appropriately informed by the powers that be, and it gives a negative view of the game team's aims that this happens consistently to the people selected to act as mods (as well as CMs to a degree).

There are but it does hamper your ability to perform your role as many of you would like when you're reliant on fellow players because you're under informed.
If the game team would put together informational packets to be deployed to your server for this, then it would make things much easier.

While they wouldn't be able to anticipate every need, there are several points wherein clarification would have been useful. The fact that you have a relatively sizeable game team for this title as well as the size of this community necessitates e during moderators are given as much information as possible when features and events are deployed so that you can continue to foster good will and encourage positive gameplay and sentiment about the game team and fellow mods here.

If you were to poll the community here about how many players have been frustrated because moderators are not informed and must seek information to assist, the results would be very telling

And it's not the mods fault, to clarify that.

Mods can only do with what they're given. If they're given nothing, they're left to seek answers among themselves and their fellow players. This means that there is a delay in the transmission of information, leading to an unsatisfactory experience.

The player base is replaceable until it's not. I think a lot of people overinflate their worth to a company so large as this. Not because they have ego per se, but because it's easy to forget that this is only one game in a sea of titles, and we are all blinkered to this one space.
Telling someone "yeah, this company accidentally showed people how much they spent and some people had like $500k" gets belly laughs in many games communities because that is low-ball compared to some. But here? That's huge.

But a spender like that leaving? Please, replace them with a handful of mids obsessed with mini games and shortrun events, it will even out somewhere.
Or even better, talk up the next largest alliances and put the spotlight on them in a tournament.

I play another title by this company that's currently testing. The top spender - period - has almost like $30-40k into that title. It's testing. Not even slated for release yet. Just testing on limited regional access.
That's just one player in that title. There are several servers with more like him.
When I say players will be replaced, I don't necessarily mean here. I mean overall across their titles where either players are still spending (older titles than SoS) or newer titles where they're just starting that whale journey.

SoS may be one of their cash cows, but it certainly isn't the only thing generating revenue.

And that doesn't even touch their other interests.

I've talked to that guy (he's in my guild there) and even he's said he's slowed down and is being more selective, but then I log in and see how many guild crates we have from pack purchases and I'm like

But I can't tell people how to spend or what to do. Ain't my money. All I can do is just help keep them informed and hope for the best

But yeah, if there's any players here who think they aren't entirely replaceable, I'd maybe ask them to talk to a couple of the former top players from years previous and see how that's worked out.

But if you went to speedup troops out of habit by clicking on the building to go inside, you'd notice that upgrade icon and how a few icons were shifted to adjust for it.

Hey shadow, I'd appreciate if you stopped spreading misinformation, I understand that you're stull hurt by the fact you were removed of the program due to your performance and toxic behavior and as such you have been lashing at the company and other content creators on the discord, and you're free to have your opinion, but just spreading lies is something that I believe it is not appropriate.

The streams for doomsdays the matches were picked based on how close or interesting they were, especially for the earlier matches, I believe all streamers went out of their way to get matches with similar scoring, regardless of who was in the match, which is why in a lot of cases the matches were not covering the top alliances especially in phase 1.

Once again, I understand you being frustrated at the game, but it is not polite, appropriate or even smart of you to keep lying about the streaming program, your credentials or anything you have done in the program or how streamers are right now, and I believe it would be best for you if you'd stopped, you already have the majority of people I talked to in the back scenes disliking you and believing that you are not a positive influence in the server, maybe if it is so bad for you to handle the communications and things in the game, you should take a break from the discord as it might be taking a toll in your mental health as well, cheers!

Pets, regardless of if they bring in good items before running away or bad ones it doesn't matter. For a small player those pets are harder to recover. If i waste all my currency buying them back then I'm not actually progressing, I'm just holding some brand of status quo.

Now, wildness being free to reduce, like say, feeding or giving the pet pats but it leaves them in a state where they can't be used until its back to 0 would be reasonable, if annoying

Pets as a mechanic suck badly. But if we're forced to have them, and they're important, then don't strip them off people for playing the stupid event. If you want us to lose them at random, make blue pets something that turn up when hitting infected or something so we can waste them

And each adventure you dispatch also brings coins and biscuits.

Also when you max the levels, you can unlock the option to buy a collar which resets the wildness.

And of course, wildness grows only from the dispatching missions, so if you have small rare blue pets you don't use, it's not really a loss

Unfortunately the devs have dropped another event with garbled instructions that no one understands and is open to many interpretations. If people do lose pets in this event then it is an extremely poor mechanic. What next, you lose your heroes after a certain number of explorer missions and have to buy them again.

F2p have made ample use of these things in the past, and they need something to want again. With the rewards and the store being admittedly terrible this time around, players by and large will be basically grateful when the store comes back with markedly different items. BUT there's always a trade off, because now those "better items" will be a greater demand, which allows a currency raise.

You kinda see where my logic is. Everything is meant to drive toward everything else, and sometimes these features need... Encouragement in order to necessitate those changes and have them be viewed as more acceptable to the community (even though we all know our eagle-eyed players will catch those changes and submit a lot of feedback which won't be heard - but what are the chances that the dev team anticipates that feedback and has a "we're sowwy, here's an improvement" alteration to the store that players accept because it's not the initial change?

Id actually have two versions of it. One that I knew would incense the players (the one they wouldn't readily accept), and then another version which is "better" than the initial release, so players would be more likely to soften toward it as an improvement. Still with higher costs in the store, but not as high as initially. And I'd have key things like the reso skins, but also things people have fed back regarding - such as sentinel skins - so players would mentally justify to themselves their engagement within the minigames as well as any pack purchases.

You must have free marches to be able to send them out to mines

Consequence:

1. Some people like me try to gather sending out their marches a few times per day to build up rss numbers, unless you have free marches you’re unable to send any out to mines and either you have to get your gathering marches back or refuse to send out your gathering marches if wanting to keep mining
2. Timer on the mines disturbs the regular gathering routine as once your mining has finished you need to send your march(es) there again before somebody else sees empty spot at that mine and makes advantage of you, mining time and gathering time don’t always have to go in pair and timely may collide with each other
3. If letting your marches gather you’re sometimes likely to forget about the timer on mines and may end up with somebody else taking your mining spot. Once you get your gathering marches back in a middle of gathering to get your kept spots at mines you’re likely to forget to send them back again after marches are back from those mines

Suggested Solution:

Make marches sent out to mines be like at some intel tasks where players can send them out even if normal marches are in use at that time, this way gathering and mining won’t collide with each other regardless the timer on mines and players who gather few times daily could have their gathering routine as usual even if having to look out on mining timer

You all running a 100m , folks have been at the finish line. You at 20m and you're asking for the finish line to go immediately to 400m

Guess what, if it goes to 400m, those able to run the 100m in 10 seconds will make a bigger gap between themselves and the ones sitting at 20m.

I'm just tired of minis being stacked on minis when there are better ways to do these things, and the items we need to play those being recycled instead of carried over - It's clear the purpose isn't to create a satisfying game experience in our former zombie survival title turned idle market.

Like... People are just pumping money into idle packs only for the stuff to be recycled when the event starts again. So. There's gotta be a better way.

It's funny so many complaining about rewards. When this happens everytime they drop statues 5 levels, some rewards change.

But the thing that gets me the most is.

Beat 10 >
Move on to 11
11 > idle rewards 11 - 21

Happened this previous JG,I go to lvl 20 and after that is a bonus lvl and now i have to beat that to get the extra rewards in lvl 21

And i had to wait an extra hour or so for the items i needed

But for a lot of feedback, people have been asking for updated rewards across all kinds of events. Not specifically jungle gems, but in general.
This is what we got.
This isn't just about jungle gems, but as a whole. This is just my opinion here but...
We can either band together as players wanting something to change that effects your individual play

Some like, hate, and are neutral about gene boosters for jg.

But everyone hates getting screwed on that bonus level after 10, or 20 or 30 etc 🤣

it's in a ton of places.

Why's it have to be

• 200 for 10 limit 50
• 1000 for 50 limit 30
• 2000 for 100 limit 30
  ^ all that equals 100,000 silver for 5, 000 gold
  Cant it simply be 20 for 1 limit 5,000
  ^ same amount but can exchange for 1 instead of a stack of 10 or 50 or 100

All they're doing is making the store looks more full than it really is and screwing us by always taking some of our items away because no matter what, we can't get just 2 without spending for it.

Blame the people knowing and choosing the mechanics that harm players.

Not the ones who haven't been in the industry for 20 years and drop in when they face 1 issue.

I'm probably gonna get a lot of dislike for this, but I can't relate to the average f2p experience these days, as an f2p. There are a ton of things I don't like about the game and the content, but it all boils down to the development practices.
Some things, I do understand, and I understand that as a player, I do need to be attentive/understand what passes for the game mechanics.
It's difficult to discuss things with people in my demographic sometimes because I can't relate. There are several reasons, such as: I'm an older player so I have five years of content and growth versus maybe 2 or 3, or I've been lucky to be a part of two mostly supportive state environments and several players groups to help educate me more about the content within the game.
There is a startling amount of players who don't utilize the resources they could be, and playing more wisely, but I don't blame them at all. It's just so much to go through, and again, that goes back to the development.
It isn't any players fault that I can't relate, and it isn't any players fault that the development decisions have favored profit over playability.

Shh. I have trading along trade routes elsewhere. It doesn't need to be in SoS. With trucks, we don't need it, but I think people here would have some serious objections to any of their marches being inaccessible for a length of time because it's on a trade route.

Granted trades can be short or long term, so people can do it afk, but we have ample ways to achieve resources, and the addition of trade routes for anything other than resources wouldn't be welcomed personally.
I don't wanna send a march out for upwards of 14 hours on a trade route my alliance had to fight for and maintain just for resources or items. Bleh. No. Nein. Non.
