I think, due to what I can only assume is the intended function of Operation Resurgence, I doubt they would do that.
What might be a compromise is having a version of Operation Resurgence at the start of each "stage" of MIGO.

That said, I would caution about adding anything to seasons, if only because the event schedule is already jam packed and we've been complaining about it.
Whatever is added or adjusted might also need to have acceptable losses or accompanying adjustments to maintain the "balance" players prefer in our gaming experience.

Obviously, people can do what they wish, but consider your schedules and how they affect you now, as well as what your desired changes might bring. How would you balance those to ensure you're not burning out or stretching yourself too thinly? How do you think the devs might adjust those same things in order to ensure they are generating revenue and adhering to their developmental model? Now where is there a balance between the two?

Sorry not sure what happened but when you receive a statue or frame from a cross over such as turtles or with pacific rim when you click on the statue or frame and click upgrade you can use the crystals to upgrade those statues

I bought a bunch of the purple ones, partly cos not paying attention and had to work out which statue to buy in the NEXT event to use them. Won't be buying the crystals again. Learnt my lesson

So... Some time ago I decided to do small experiment. Well calling it experiment is big overstatement, more of a verification how true are rewards odds stated in the game.

Decided to check it in newest game addition, deployments. Obviously the higher data amount the closer to real odds we get but my patience is limited so decided to go for 10000 crates which I thought was nice compromise between being not that small amount and not taking forever to gather.

This is the picture showing odds of various rewards in crates. Whopping 8% s tier reward chance which in little over 10000 crates should translate to roughly 800+ s-tier rewards.

Here is what I got when opening 10064 crates

Lets count S-tier rewards

1x 20k biocaps

14x search maps

15x 10 potions

10x skill book

26x thingie with a block in it

29x envelope

Thats all

So it is ummmm

95 S tier rewards

Instead of 800+

Looks like S tier reward chance is more of a 1%, not 8% like they say ingame

If I understand it correctly, there's a fault in the logic that 1,000 crates will get me 800+ S tier rewards. That logic assumes that with each crate you open that is not an S Tier reward, my chances for an S Tier reward increase. But that's not the case. Each crate has an 8 % chance of an S Tier reward independently of all other crates opened. This is essentially the gambler's fallacy, that past events can influence future ones.

Simplified example. If I flip a coin 1,000 times in a row, and they all land heads, that doesn't guarantee the next one will be tails. My chances are still 50/50 that it's heads or tails on each individual flip.

That being said, I can see the way it is represented could be misleading. I'd be more than happy to assist leaving some feedback that it should be more clear in it's presentation.

10 000 crates, not 1000. Law of big numbers apply, with big enough sample we should be getting results extremely close to stated odds

So 10 000 crates should give around 800 S tier rewards

Result was 95

Which basically means it is impossible that S tier reward chance is 8%

When coin flipping for example if you flip it 10 times you can get 80% heads and 20% tails but if you do it 10k times you will be looking at smthg like 49.95% heads and 50.05 tails, there would not be much difference from 50:50

Agreed the larger the number we should approach odds, but in the grand scheme 10,000 is a small number. If you as an individual player were able to obtain 10,000 crates, extrapolate that over the number of individual players currently playing the game with that task. I know players that have hit 20k in biocaps 5 times in a very short period of time so they may be over the 8%.

As I said, I completely understand where you're coming from, but I don't think it's a flat out lie, just bad representation.

We went through this early on when these came out. It is an 8% chance that you get one of those 8% prize options. Those are then broken down again. Think the bios are 0.01%. We've also found that its not 10 potions. Its one. So you got a few extra there. But yes its all a swindle. Given its a completely free swindle though they won't do more than adjust whats said to what happens.

It's an individual experiment. Why are you extrapolating over the entirety of the game.

They present the odds for 1 sample run. 10k is very adequate a number to know how biased they may be. Tossing 1 coin and getting tails 9.9k times is enough to know the coin is weighed to favor tails.

I can't even remember how the legislation regarding advertising odds goes, but I do know that companies can sort of flub those and get away with it, which is one way we end up with stuff like we have.

Nexus sucked. Badly. It needs a full redesign. The existing setup is basically only 2 alliances get to play at the end and everyone else has the potential to just be stuck in their starting zone.

Day 1. 10 minutes and boring
Day 2. 5 minutes and boring
Day 3. This varies but there is at least a fight
Day 4. Minor fight. Not longer than 15 minutes
Day 5. This can be hectic but it is basically decided in the first 5 minutes because defending is so hard
Nexus. Nah, dumb. Everyone goes hq hitting.

It could be a 2 day fun event that involves every alliance regardless of their bp

Duels has its own issues from making it impossible to earn merits for reasons outside your control to not even being able to play because "reasons". Timeslot stuff does not help

Bunch of stuff can be done to AD to make it more fun. I would STILL like to see alliance tower hits for personal merits. You have a giant tower forest? Those 3mln points for second badge are crazy hard to make... This week we had cooperative enemy alliance so for whole duel there were 1 min rallies going out. I as a small joiner, managed to earn around 1 mln points. Might sound like a lot but it was only because enemy was really friendly and was constantly refilling towers... In most cases after initial first hit they decide there is no chance to win and stop fighting

Which is understendable as there is little to motivate to actually take part in duels

AD. A poorly thought/designed event. If the opponent decides not to fight, you don't get any pts. All those towers and restrictions on where we can port makes the fighting very hard. March time increases doesnt help as well.

Also, for these events, when would the devs stop matching multiple states for skins/rewards? it just makes top spenders spend more and other spenders to completely stay away since there is no chance for them to win anything of significance.

It might interest you to know, Shadow, that I've addressed the issue with the ablism in the game when the new UI came out for Operation Festival (yes that long ago) because a player with neurological concerns contacted me on fb and was getting migraines from playing for ten minutes.

Here's one of the initial feedbacks I had written regarding the user interface. Feel free to use it as a guideline or we can tweak and repost it together

Observation:
The new event UI is unattractive, physically painful to navigate for those with medical concerns, and has features which aren't as rewarding in both player experience or game items as previous festival UI.

Consequence:
Players will continue to leave the game or sit out of festival events, even if they fall on State Event weeks, because they'd rather focus on the more rewarding State Event than a festival event which grants no joy.

Suggested solution:

Go back to the last festival UI which was easier to navigate, inclusive to more players, and was more enjoyable and rewarding.

Include epilepsy or medical warnings in any events which may have effects such as strobing lights.
