So just in case I am bad at math: Buying the smaller crate in the Doomwheel Early Access event will not actually get you enough fragments to buy the tank. That seems pretty unethical when calling it early access.

If this game wasn't so clearly a hustle and actually invested back into the player base to an adequate level to show our purchases and time have value to them, then I probably would spend.
But the servers are busted, the game is full of bugs, they just keep squeezing people for more and more money without any sense of irony or self-awareness as a company, the matchmaking is a theory and not a practice, things aren't tested for a long enough time if at all, and they wont even keep their word about the dev chats.

IDC if people spend their money, but I do think it's an interesting situation when some of the people who complain about this game being predatory turn around and spend money in areas where there may be a worse investment than in others for the money they're choosing to spend.
I also feel badly for those who spend money as fast as they make it because of compulsive concerns or some sort of addiction-adjacent issue, when bad investments come up.

That said, there are those who spend large amounts of money - again, fine if they have it - who turn around and act in unsavory manners as though having the ability to spend on an admittedly and blatantly skewed mobile game is something to be lauded and deserving of hero worship or praise.

I need to scribble this up to remove it from my head. Its not for the feedback section although if a CM wants to run it up as their own idea go ahead.

Nexus is now a 2 day event. There are 8 alliances on the map and its split into 8ths. Your goal on the first day is as a whole alliance. There is no specific time window for this, organise with your alliance inside that 24 hour window. You need to take your map sections lvl2 city, the lvl1 checkpoint, the level 5 city, the lvl2 check point and the level 7 city inside that 24 hours. Fastest alliance to defeat the level7 city gains rank #1. There are villages for extra speed ups and for points targets that grant minor rewards for achieving them. You are not scoring personal points for rankings but towards targets like AH, prizes should be useful but minimal. Potions. Plane xp or squadron data, coh, rainbow crystals, that sort of thing. No badges of any sort, no legendary frags.

On day 2, which would be on a saturday at SvS time which we're all used to is the nexus. The nexus is more or less the same as capital clash with the following differences

Tower missiles earn your alliance points
Everyone can beseige the nexus whether they control it or not
Controlling the nexus grants a 10% bonus to beseige damage
There is no defeating, it has unlimited health, this is about how much damage you do, not holding for an hour.
Wounding troops is worth points but worth much less than a beseige.
You can't be in a tower and nexus at the same time, normal cc stuff. No slowdown on marches. Rallies are a minute. Make it hectic.

The big alliance would still probably win. But a weak alliance with lots of participation could do better than a big alliance only running 10 people.

Ranked prizes should all be useful but different. Top rank could get something current and very useful, 8th could get something no longer current but still important to the game. I'm not quite sure what this split should look like.

No, their value has decreased. They're not bad but the devs put way too much price and importance on them now. Past gen 14 they cannot be used to gain points and are only useful on old heroes or skills. This doesn't justify the importance devs assign them. They should actually be cheaper and more common, not as some prize for a big event

Thats a dev idiocy problem though. They've attached too much importance to them so getting less as prizes isn't balanced by them making them more accessible everywhere else which is what should be happening.

Make them cheaper, make them more common, they're a low level prize now not important. Let people level their skills up and want to spend for the stabilizers.

Or if you want to keep them important they have to earn points in events without conversion. They're worth points by themselves. Devs will have it both ways but they shouldn't

I'm getting, the last few weeks, that the game often sends me to somewhere other than which I selected.

For example, I select an event, but the game seems decide it wants to show me a different event first [could be a bug, could be deliberate]. This is highly questionable business practices if it is deliberate.

it could be the fact they added the cards pop up at the start of the game a while back, and it always seems to pop up at a different time, so if a bug I would look at why this is not coming at the right time with the other pop ups every time you load the game.

In any case this is annoying spam and should be reduced. I don't want to have to close 3+ different windows every time I login before I can do anything. I know they may think it is helpful, but getting a pop up months after an event is launched, is not helpful, it is annoying. There is so much event spam and spread all over the place, now even in the bundles, or bundles put in the events, they are making the game slower to play, and harder to navigate, apparently through greed or some other reasoning.

Nexus is hilarious. First there was only 6 team and not 12 participating. We had no oponents for 3 days as our sides were empty. In the end we qualified to finals , we'll cuz no competition on our side. Instead of fighting for main building we went to make rank points. So what is the point of nexus middle when we ranked 1 without even going there. And our oponent decided also to go for points and did not even finalize the main building.

So the system defaults to picking version 1 when 2 is better

I think when there are equal strength vehicles, it would be better to pick the rally leaders vehicles, since the joiners may want to use their own for their own rally or solo marches

Yes but the issue isn’t that they have to use the vehicles to join, it’s that the system chooses the joiner vehicle skill despite rally leaders choosing vehicles intentionally.

MK2 are better than MK1 but the system will default to MK1 in all rallies if the 2 vehicles are equal in power. Maybe it’s better and less confusing to ask for the switch to MK2 as default pick

My memory of matchmaking for RR, as an example, is that when you chose the time it was mainly balanced. Without checkpoints, you can’t make progress, even if you were previously capable of doing so

Rewards should update as states age. Rss can remain thats fine. But lucky cards is giving out combat manuals? Sotf gives out capsules and legendary badges which is the opposite of sensible. Skill books are still rewards and purchasable. There are a ton of way outdated rewards out there that need to vanish and be replaced.

Devs need to make more use of the 5 plane XP item. No its not good, thats why they can and should use it. Frequently. The plane xp system is very expensive and anything would help. 5 xp isn't going to make anyone strong but its something...

There also needs to be a more defined system of values for everything. Is a potion worth more than vehicle experience. Is a capsule better than a behemoth frag. All that sort of stuff. We could probably work it out based on the sheer volume of any one item to max it out

You cant get the seasonal badges unless you actually push pretty hard in sotf/prep. I had 495k in stage 1, 496k in stage 2. I'd guess at least one more milestone beside using the whatever tokens. Sotf has more milestones so that would probably be more beneficial to focus on, idk

The "easiest" way for someone to get them (combined w/ hitting everything else) is top 100 in sotf, prep, and warfare.

As as low spender, it isn't terribly hard, although it requires some planning.

Can the intern bashing all the event release buttons please stop? Like, how many times do we have to say it that the level of simultaneous paid events/events in general is absolute insanity? Last I checked we had to pay to play - not get paid - so why is SOS pretending it’s a full time job with so many tasks each day?

Observation : when two similar alliances are playing in final nexus city match , it’s been observed that , city is breaking in less than 5 minutes , where the other alliance who is doing rally ( 1 minute rally ) , reaching troops to city ( 30 seconds ) , by then the troops are reaching destination , alliances are losing so much time

2. When three alliances are fighting for main city , it’s even more hard to see who is winning, because for 2 big rally ,any alliance will lose city occupied

3. 2 alliances are talking in agreement , making 3rd alliance to lose main city occupation

4. Enemy are attacking non - stop to players settlements in that 5 minutes of time ( or even less time ) to avoid sending troops to main city

Consequence : it’s hard to see who is clear winner among two alliances because of rally time ( 1 minute ) , by then nexus city is already breaking .

Suggested solution :

1. Please make atleast 30 minutes for main nexus city occupation
2. Also if occupation time is mentioned ( like MM event ) , it will be useful for players and alliances to fight easily

Also 1 more point , enemy is attacking settlements solo , to prevent players to send troops to main city , in that 5 minutes to occupation , it’s very hard to play main city or enemy attacks

It’s hard to do in 5 minutes of time where , we can heal troops or prepare for attacks or send troops , or message to other members

That’s not a large amount of time, and your alliance should be besieging the whole time you’re occupying

We are doing besiege by using bios also

But 2 alliances are in agreement , and breaking our alliance rally by sending 2 rally at a time and doing solos

But that sounds like you just have stronger opponents that a fix to matching would help. Not by making nexus slower
