I wouldn't say i love it. But it provides prizes, a store, takes minimal time to set up. Is technically easy to match as its numbers and personal march bp/score. And you don't need any weird windows. About the only thing wrong is an entire alliance cannot play as its max 60 people. But you only get minor stuff for defeating opponents and its not shoehorned into migo where the 60 player limit would hurt

In my experience, these surveys don't herald the results that both FP would expect, or indeed give a good representation, because even those are bugged both in and out of game and only certain (unknown) demographics seem to receive them. Its just another pointless half-baked method

If I remember, they also used that dumb system some weeks ago that no-one understood how to use about what was important/priority events. I actually think CR.7 wasn't around for that debacle

"Is PZ an event which can be optimized and adapted for older state ages?" Y/N

And so on

It's a lot of work, but go event by event or choose one event topic each week to do like this, and then actually listen and adjust accordingly.
But they'd also have to listen to their employees when they advise about bugs and issues, and I don't think they're doing as much of that as we all would prefer.

The results are blatantly manipulated. Sampling is okay, but even the small sample they choose deliberately does not reflect player views. Any community organized poll will easily show this. Judgemental sampling will have inbuilt bias but it will not result in the overly positive results they somehow always end up with.

The 0.1% sampled are not loving the game as f+ likes to pretend. I can prove it with nexus at the bare minimum.

This organized in the message board will show an average over 3.5 across most demographics.

For that to deviate so much from player organized polls, a huge cluster of players would have to be complete outliers in their sample.

When nexus is on, less than 8 days out of 14, it's easier to find high level mines, but still nearly impossible to find level 9 mines. Nexus mining isn't really good because 50% of alliances don't get more than 2 mines, and anyway those mines are up for only 5 days out of 14

I now have internet with speedtest latency 6-10 ms depending on time of test. SoS is still lagging and having disconection issues same when I was just turning on mobile data transfer on my phone which was way worse.

Not even a server upgrade. The game takes a certain amount of resource in terms of cpu and ram to run. F---plus have cut this to the bone. Any time there are too many people on the server hits 100% and many people have to "wait" for those resources.

It shouldn't be the visuals. These should be client side. There is no need at all to go back to home base to constantly request a graphic. The game needs to know where, and which, and then the client renders it. If the server is doing that stuff the game should be about 50mb, not the 5gb it is.

I mean, I figure since busy work seems to be the ethos of the company, I'd contribute some inefficiency of my own.

I mean, if they're relying on FOMO, doesn't it just make logical sense to put all the sales which only last hours or 1-2 days into one category or drop tab access, despite the fact that they return consistently and aren't actually limited, and only exist to further dig spending players deeper into their sunken costs.

Star, you're waiting for other actual people. If someone has a bad connection or lag, they might not be able to connect as quickly as you. It also may be seeking other players to match, which isn't always quick. Not everyone is just hanging around waiting to do PoW, so sometimes it might have to take some time and find someone who is within that tier, at that time, etc.

Other times, it's just someone AFK, so that's why a lot of people have asked that there be some sort of punitive measure for not connecting to the match, like a forced lockout from the event for a short time (like 5 minutes).

Matching is rubbish in nexus. One alliance (200b power) has 60b power as one neighbour, 19b power other. Wtf are u thinking??? They already closed 5 cp1 of 5 alliances and still not done
