Many people have an issue because they change the rules on recycled items. The chef event. Weve had that 3 times with nothing recycled. This time they magically recycled the items on us without warning

I think you nailed it. I was a mid tier spender, with a few heavy spend months in between, and it's gotten me to a place where I'm now in coast mode as F2P because the key difference I've seen in battle reports with some heavyweights are troops.

However, what happens after I've closed the gap a little (bigs are still training troops as well)?

If I remain F2P I'll need to just enjoy what I can get and the basics of the game because if more events are giving Angelica, Selena or whatever they come out with next as rewards (you have to spend to get these) it won't be long before a big sits next to me and one hit puts enough troops in the hospital for me to call it a night

I think SOTF if you complete all stages and do the spin there will evntually give you a better reward. I got a really nice premium skin last SOTF, for just completing my tasks and getting the reward chances. I didn't have to pay anything

State number is mostly irrelevant because unless I'm in a state or matched against FBI dyz where they're constantly ranking and winning events and pushing you an extra 50 slots. It's really irrelevant. But again. I didn't try to rank in anything.
Gen skip is irrelevant also because I spent $0 and had 3 hero potions at the release of gen 17. Gen skip state or not. They got released at the same time to everyone. Everyone gen skip and not is on the same cycle for events. Same opportunity to get materials for the CURRENT generation heroes.

But event fbi/dyz. Still, there's plenty of states that have an alliance who wins everything. Look at sky with obi / money 😂

I am guessing you have not had a gen skip. So you have had 3 months to upgrade 3 heroes. Right?

We are matched FBI, DYZ etc in Alliance Showdown from week 1 of gen skip. Our best heroes were Gen12 (fake limitless that is). Now, after three months, our grace period is over and we face alliances and states with F2P (with wise use of resources) having upgraded all heroes to minimum 24/27 purple brain, not to even mention about players who spend. And this happens in RR, and apparently also in SvS etc.

I have spun Rays 450 times (max times) every time it has been available, used all vouchers and bought some hero packs. Capsules are not a problem. But there is no reasonable way to obtain potions. I have 7/15 heroes on purple brain and one set of heroes 24/27. I am depleted of potions. There is no way to obtain 3 heroes but to buy or Epic map searches.

Now we face states who have 5 marches of (at minimum) decent limitless heroes. You can call this crying, but I am very eager to hear how would you upgrade the heroes for 5 gens at same time?

Over time the gen skip brutality diminishes.
For those who done their "keep track of hero rotations, which heroes get left out of crates / voucher, which heroes to focus on, which heroes to ignore"
Those players feel less effect after several months compared to those who don't do their research.

Getting a current gen hero in a skip gen state vs non skip state is insignificantly effected by non gen skip states on rewards earned for potential upgrade.

Lets say you skipped gen 12,13 and 14. Now starting gen 15.

Then events like SoTF and SvS should give x4 capsules and fragments of all 4 generations at once in rewards for next 3 months.

So dont remember exactly how many frags were for getting top10 in svs, lets say it was 50. Then you should get 50 frags of gen15 and 50 of gen12,13,14.

Rays place should be done same way, you land on one fragment then you get one frag of gen15 and one frag of all skipped gens, so 12,13,14, total of 4 fragments.

That way it would be possible to at least catch up a little. It would still be not ideal but something...

Everyone has the luxury to horde for 5 months. If you choose not to, that's on you. But my "hording" of items is irrelevant since carlos because I have more now than I did when Carlos migo ended. If you study the pattern of intel, and look at what Cyan just said, you can actually skip over a number of items.

I had seen this suggested before and thought it was wrong but seeing what FunPlus are doing and the fact it doesn't affect much they are actually right with this recommendation.

Yesterday I easily completed my Daily Rewards timeline without it. Just skip them.

I'm also no longer rescuing survivors. All this does is add troops back to a section I had already upgraded to T12s, and so takes resources from me to upgrade them.

Once you complete the Cyrstal Institute "chief" tree you also get Emergency Recruitment so there are no low level survivors to upgrade

Unless you have enlistment you can skip about a 3rd of the dailies and not really miss anything

The more diverse in time zones an alliance is the more problematic for events. For alliances that are majorly say Japanese like my last alliance, this is less of a problem because most of the players are in Japan, or in my case, Thailand or Malaysia so we're all very very close and it's only the U.S. and EU players that are at a vast disadvantage

They're doing that bit wrong. Basically every state should now be starting with purple, and the current generation with say, 3 gens back relatively available as prizes. They shouldn't be accelerating through gens 3-17.

Just give them 17 and make sure bits for 13-16 are nicely available. Then they can start more or less with the current meta and not need the hero catch up. You can then release them to the world when they get dino. Assuming yoy increased the dino prizes for them to catch up on that front too.

They won't do this though. Prizes should never be adjusted, just pay more. And more again if you start behind simply cos you started the game late

680s were the first ones. Based on that they brought the new format of gen skip which had 80% progression done for heroes .

Folks complained it was a freebie for new states. It changed to 50% progression of hero gen for next group of states.

Then they changed it altogether and made another iteration of limitless. Kj's group of states. They had extra packs available.

Then it changed again for 625+. Rays changes to include past 3

Last change was ours. One week to dump 1.2k$ into an event to get anything.

That's a core problem with the stores in general and why I will suggest for the 4th time a store that allows players to choose their own materials or choose them at some stage of a refresh. To expand on what I've previously suggested:

FP gets a round of what they want to push to us and players get a round of choosing what they want. A different game company might then use the quantitative data from players selections in round 2 choices as one of several ways they inform their bundles.

My other two accounts didn't have the same luck, but I did get at least one prize in both of their pulls - and that's only claiming the tickets from the event, not using dailies as well

The devs could have altered the event, so I'm not saying they didn't, but clearly it's not set to be the last pull consistently on the board.

Also before anyone goes around thinking "yeah! We made them change it back from the pearl thing" no you didn't. The pearl LC event was more likely a special run of the event, presumably for the festival or end of season, in the same vein as that ridiculous Vouchers and Supply Rush were.

They just didn't tell us, so we misunderstood
