Ok. So on lvl1 you get, lets be generous and make the math easy. 5 of each of the things you need for an upgrade i got 3/7 but 10 is still the number. That means you need to win lvl1 10 times to upgrade ONE thing. That one thing ain't gonna get you through lvl3 on its own. I don't k ow what the second levels cost.

But thats 30 plays to get the 3 available things to level 1 only. If lvl2 costs more... 39 plays again to hit level 2 on the skills. This is HOURS of worthless play time

That doesn't happen on a lot of platforms. When eBay as an example owned PayPal, it was very easy for them because they're just freeze the sellers account and refund the buyer the majority of the time.

However, this got so bad scammers knew to file false INADs and get both the refund and the item but this is going into a different topic, if slightly.

Point being, there are ways to help the buyer but the funds would probably be gone and only a chargeback could resolve it at that point. If you didn't use a card, which most might not for something like this...OUCH

On second thought, you're probably using some digital method of payment so familiarity with their TOS would be key. No one is meeting up in a parking lot at 4am to sell their SOS account for cash.

If you would like a little detail around this, it may help. Essentially.

• Without purchasing the 'boosted' pack; many players can barely get past level 1, and not level 2, severely disadvantaging F2P
• With the pack, the same above is true for some, but even as example with the attached training, and two level 4 heroes', resonated and 44% of skills unlocked, Level 3/4 is almost impossible.
• The biggest part of the issue seems to be the boss mechanics. In my case, I've found that even when no-where near these bosses, the hero still takes damage. And in the midst of 2 or 3 of them at the 6 minute marker, your hero is dead within seconds.

What this results in, is a consistent need to repeat over and over again lower level 1 or 2, which from an EXP point of view, are capped per day.

EDIT: Side note, this includes while using the 'regen % ' or 'energy to health', or 'damage reduction' buffs' and training level strategy tales in health etc. (think of how bad this is when you can't get to those training levels)

Of course there is, but this exactly why you have to find a balance, or you develop events in such a way that they are not significantly time consuming . The majority of 'mobile' game players want to login, do something quickly during their downtime, then go back to whatever they where doing outside of game (kids, family, cooking, TV, work etc).

They've built in so many inter-dependencies and things that are purported as optional, but are really are mandatory e.g. migo events, that it makes the concept of spending 10, 30 or so minutes impossible. TMNT event, you can't just do a few things and leave. That Shell Shock event I spent most of my evening on, and hours today. Explorer missions, I click them while I'm working because they take so long.

After reset, it can take me as much as 1h, sometimes more to work through all my dailies, and then events that contribute to migo even longer, and thats before we get to anything else. I dont' want to be doing that at 1-2am in the morning, but unless I want to keep my rank, because its forced that way, I find I have to. These are just a few examples.

Hi Abby, I agree that it’s quite a flop of a feature. I expect they’ll add a lot more to it in future but I think it should have been stated it’s in alpha, pushing to beta.
The rewards shown are inflated as are some other f2p events I’ve noticed to entice people to want to join in on it.

I would like to remind the devs that many games have something called hitboxes. These denote where an attack can hit, and be hit. They are not circles you plunk down on top of an entity and say "this entity is attacking, anything in range can be hit" when you are forcing the player to orient on things to make contact with their own janky hitboxes
