If you look at the state transfer listing. The bottom on the list (mostly) are up for merge.
Which, In All fairness to having competitive alliances and states for events. And increase the possibility of increasing the svs matching pool, This is the way to go about doing state mergers.

Their calculation though is horribly flawed on how they deem a state to be active / strong. But as long as they keep using the same screwed up system. We are going to keep keeping consistant screwed up results. At least it's consistant though. 🤣

Hi chief, sometimes these changes happen in mid events due to errors. It’s frustrating sometimes. This one looks like an improvement.
What id suggest is try your luck with CS and see if they’re able to compensate you for the ones you’ve purchased before the change (if any).

Also I’d encourage you to make a feedback post in #📋︱feedback-reporting regarding this since it is something that should really be informed to the players.

Normally with mergers they take states within a similar range. Never seen something like 350 is merging with 412. Too big a split. If theres not much else in the 360-370 range, its a pretty good assumption

Dailies give a flat amount of duty points. No change to rate. Imo if you have a good rate going, don't withdraw stuff while that rate lasts. Soon as you withdraw it'll recalculate

While the list is not yet finalized ,so we can't know which state you will get merged with (if you will get merged this round), I'd recommend to suggest this in#📋︱feedback-reporting so we can upvote it! I really like the idea. Maybe we can find a few ideas that can affect the state numbers If I get merged,I'd love to keep my state number so i get where you are coming from.

yes.. there were dozens of well voted feedbacks, with precise wishes how to make it better. Eventually they picked it up and implemented 10% of what we requested.
So I guess they just don't care to make our gaming experience less miserable, they only wanted to show some "hey Becca is here for you".

I don't think they've ever tried because it was bad when the game wasn't bloated and the kg devs were somewhat competent and probably could have resolved that one. We have funplus devs now, they use chatgpt to code.

That is right...The top-ranked states are called "Leading States", and The Governor will not be able to set a Power Limit for these States.

First you find the ridiculously hidden menu option, then you read the incorrect instructions and set the value to the wrong thing, then nobody can join the state at all but nobody knows why. Then log a call with CS and nothing happens until the event ends and CS close the ticket with no resolution

If we don't know this very soon, many settlements will burn because of some desperate players who don't want to be leading.. so they do EVERYTHING which might affect the rating, only to find out that it's not enough.
Burning the state is one of the next points in their list. This would lead to a mass quitting, also because then players can't leave anymore due to full hospitals and enlistment - and surviving another 3 months in such a state is no option, so they will quit. Including many decent spenders.

I'm in a group with some very large spenders. VVV, VAL and many more.

Not 1 person has passed the minimum rank required for 30th place rewards yet in this event.

(only using 1 example of rewards not changing with the increased player base, not using all 5000 events 😅)

First migo post merge for my group was 18 states ( 3:1 @6).....
Literally 2 weeks before this merge was 6 states...
Same rewards though....
So that's a huge thing that makes many discouraged, spenders and non.

I've said this myself several times. Merges address a short term issue increasing density. They take no account of attrition or the need to level up and align events, including cross state ones. Mergers need several parallel activities to promote retention and incentivise more to want to join

Problem is, when competition declines for 2 years, then all of a sudden your rewards are non existent... Players feel, it's time to move on.

And I'm not even talking about the crazy 10k releases every month or 2 that keeps increasing in cost every few months either 😂

Of couse, we all play in different ways. If you like fighting and do so until the very end, you probably will get lots of troops to enlist. I'm more of a rally joiner and fight until getting all the points, a bit more if I'm needed. So I focus on healing small batches, tapping, and rarely have to enlist too many troops

Doomsday (at least last time) was good in the point of letting everyone play at their own level

Our matchmaking was pretty good for doomsday not like rl that was bad.
Ofcourse we had some anomalies when a weak alliance with low rank had one or 2 very strong players but that mostly gone now thanks to state transfer

And you can be sure they will release something new right before it start or a week after it starts and some game changing hero last 2 weeks that you can't win with it we all know it.

i went low_mid as i started to see there was no achievement feeling anymore ,i used to have goals . so devs are stupid put back to how it was maybe they get more cash

Yeah I avoid those or calculate the worse case scenario vs a normal bundle to see if the bait 299 ones are worth it any above that is a bonus.
