And i now really think this change is good. i can save 1000 diamonds per month, because buying pack with 40 people on small map is ultimately meaningless. it was even before not really cost-effective, but now it will be worse than worst packs because you will get almost nothing from this pack

PoW needs a system to punish people that join a game, then go idle. It just ruins the experience for the rest of the people on that team and wastes their time. Make them lose rating and maybe ban them from PoW for 10 minutes or so.

Had strongest march home, helicopter, tanks etc. 5mln troops everything ready. Enemy strongest player ported right next to me, sends in attack and suddenly I am burning. From 1 hit... I understand that they pay and are strong, that is all good but was there really a need to make a gap this big?

There's lots of things they could put there. A fun thing would be the option to either get 2500 top up points or clear a plague zone, then the people who aren't bothered by it have the option to continue without change, but a bunch of F2P players could team up and clear a PZ together and save on stamina.

If asking people to turn off their animations helps with your gameplay, it sounds like your device is struggling to keep up with the animations.
Check no other apps are running during RR that could be using up your phone's resources. I did hear one of my alliance saying that they have to use discord on another device during RR otherwise the game lags too much.

What they forget about is, with good events, their whales and krakens will have much easier time on sotf/bloodsport

Remember when it was 1h speed up for 1 event ammunition -> 3h speedup for less than 1 ammo chance, now it's 0 ammunition from speed up.

I have a suggestion. It's probably an obvious one. When you build headquarters, whether plains or wastland, you can not see the entire surrounding sides of the spot to which you wish to build. There needs to be a more zoomed out view to precisely place where we wish correctly.

Let us pick 1 time, make alliances register participants, and then let us each register marches. Match based on the marches and use a better method to match based on the power of those marches (just as a quick example with registered marches prior to matching you could verify that the rally leads are at least remotely similar, or consider the top 5 strongest single marches to be potential rally leads). Probably remove the hospital mechanic and make a "not your own troops" event like Azurtane, that would cut down on the server load and eliminate the advantage of having a giant army. You can inject some variation if we register a week ahead of time, and since the event follows SOTF then we can grow a little between march registration and the event start.

I think it's better than MM but the 4 out of 5 times causes huge problems (you can't even really exclude an 8 hour sleep period for some time zones). Also the KOTH match making doesn't place nearly enough importance on matching registration size. The KOTH tournament system was a disaster for KOTH matching for that reason, you're much more likely to get a fun match up with legion 2 than legion 1. For example you can have a blast playing 2 vs 2 vs 2 or 18 vs 18 vs 18 in legion 2, but in legion 1 due to the tournament you're now pre-matched before the alliances even register.

There's ways that could be worked around, for example do a round robin skip. "Hey, sorry, due to the convenience of the 1 time slot you didn't get a match this week. We're sending you the full rewards, and you will not be skipped again until everyone in the bracket has been skipped!". For MM if there's 3 out of 4 available spots, you put the empty spot between the 2 weaker alliances as a handicap for a slightly stronger 3rd alliance.

Or if it came to it bot teams. It happens in PoW already. I'd rather fight a bot team than a David vs Goliath match after slingshots got nerfed.

Also you could totally let alliances opt for either 1 time slot with a chance of skip or the current method and guarantee no skips, for the people who really really want to play only human opponents and don't object to scheduling issues.

I want to add I agree about events like RR with time slots. Someone could be available during some of the checked time frames but not all. This is a common issue that the alliance doesnt have control over.

There is a whole perspective to take into consideration with RR. The time selection is one, but its the why. They are trying to push people into fixed, closed loop timings to fix matching, but that doesn't work. We need the old method back, but to do that the pool needs to be widened

Rate of attrition worse than their speed of widening the pool...and it's pretty much irreversible after a point cuz the more they speed up newer states to catch up and widen the pool, the faster newer states empty out

I still think there is no higher discussed topic then RR (and also Koth and MM) time selecing slots. Those of us that arelong enough playing to know 1 timeslot on saturday or sunday will always want to have that back.
But i must agree about the widening the range. The wider it gets the faster the newer states must 'catch up' so maybe a suggestion about stopping the pushing forward is helpful

There is a much bigger consideration with that and it simply stems from how FP are approaching their game, and as Chek said rate of attrition. Everything is diluted, so their answer to that is force everyone of the same or near same generation into a few time windows. I can actually only see that getting worse, maybe even to a point where you have less time slots so there is a higher concentration. Its not actually an answer or fix to do it the way they are and it's certainly not conducive to a game that is losing players

Yes, the issue where they rebooted the event again with new spin rewards milestones after they had stated in multiple in-game mail that Ada & Leon frags will no longer be available after Jan 4th, but this is clearly not the case right now. I feel like they owe people who did more than 300 spins last phase the rewards milestones according to their previous progress. 🙄

This may be looking too far ahead in regard to SR, but what if instead of expanding the amount of players on any given map, they instead had timed bonuses in certain buildings. So like, any hospitals not under poison would have the opportunity to fully heal any marches not defeated for an occupying player, or armories add a strength modifier.

Did not play survival royale this week yet but from my experience so far matchmaking was trying to place one strong whale in each players group so that they have guaranteed win.

It is kinda easy to spot when same whale sits in airdrop and snacks on 5 people one after the other. If there were other players close to his power then he would be loosing at least one march

Oh maybe thats why they are vhanging it to more players per game for some states. There were not enough whales for players population and they did not want to make matches where weaker people had a chance to win so now each whale will have more people to snack on.

I dunno but the numbers are public I believe.

Some spend, defintly.. but if a large quantity medium spenders have stopped i think that hurts more...

If a alliance have 100 people, maybe 2-3 people spendt 50 60k and upwards, and 30-50 people spend 5000 a year and rest is more or less f2p. My guess is that the mid spenders are the ones that have quit and even if they only spend 5000-10000 a year, their numbers are wastly superior
