I'm going to be honest as well here... the developers suck no matter what. They have people paying thousands of dollars a month and they insist on using them as beta testers to find all the bugs cause they're too cheap to pay for them. Additionally, they're bound and determined that the low spend and F2P folk are going to be forced to spend without realizing that if they drive these people away the states get boring and the whales also leave cause there's nobody to play with.

That they aren't smart enough to figure this out is not my problem.

• Alliance score required to unlock rewards too high.
• No troop training task.
• Speedup task gives more points with normal task than exclusive one.
• No ability to skip exclusive tasks and get other types.

I wasn't surprised to be asked for three out of seventeen. Because the issues overlap in some ways, it's easier to touch on related topics this way. So something like "Special Events" could also include the p2w features tied to them like Star Ascension, or "Item Stores" could also include compensation which affects purchasing in those stores.

And no, I don't think I'll actually get my chat. What I do think is that the devs will do the smart thing and have their representatives chat with me, then use the contents of those chats. Then the devs can focus on the actual spender chats, sell me a sense of accomplishment and the cold comfort of "being heard", and maybe we all get changes we can live with at least a little bit.

I have been waiting for four years for this company to go out like MachineZone did, though, so, there's a healthy cynicism/skepticism here.

But yeah, dev chats are just a lot of asking about what would increase spending, what would make people play the game, what would retain players, and then a bunch of silence on their part, while players talk about our experiences and answer questions from the rep. For an hour.

Do you want the honest answer? When they want to try to hook more new players in, all new states live for a very short amount of time now, because all they care about is making some money off new players before they realise how crap this game is

Even showing effort to adjust the balance would help, starting with events like Star Ascension, Hidden Treasures, etc by giving free pathways. If they utilized Daily Crates and/or offered a 500-1k Biocap buy-in on their pack pages respectively, it could help as a performative "look how understanding and supportive we are" move on the devs part.
Things like that in addition to other changes send the perception more than anything of a company which recognizes its demographics and their needs.

PTR isn't used nearly as much as it should be, nor for as long as it should be, but it also goes back into their planned release schedule and how overbearing it is as well.
If they would actually slow down feature deployments, it would also give PTR more time to test and address major bugs and concerns to lead to better feature development to account for the slower release times. A better quality product leads to more money for them and a better game for us.

Throwdown – An event that desperately needed a revamp or removed completely. I appreciate F+ efforts from our lengthy discussions on how to improve this event, but I have mixed views on the end product. It’s a nice try, but needs a lot of work!

Thought process on custom task, first thing to highlight is it’s very limited and needs some work to suit all player base. I feel the maximum points are unrealistic and as it stands it will become unsustainable. After seeing a sneak view of the whole weeks task, I feel it also restricts growth and doesn’t cater to all levels of accounts development or takes into consideration upcoming more popular events. The points earned also needs to be reconfigured as some task loose there value if comparing them to the general pool.
With that said, I do like the fact the point limit is higher than the original version, which allows the player to select one and carry on throughout there day. It removes the need to be online constantly and removes the burden on alliance leadership.

General pool task, is again very limited! Many key tasks or even daily tasks are absent, limiting the target player base even further and attractiveness to engage with the new event. Even variety of bundle tasks are missing, many spenders go above 499 diamonds! Reducing the areas players can earn points based on there account development.

Rewards are a nice addition, material used vs the goals level, the rewards do need to be increased. Currently with the reduced task and targeted player base, the current rewards available are unobtainable in the current format. Being an alliance event, where all different kinds of player base are involved, the points goals are too high. It’s currently punishing even the 1%. Cross state pool is too vast and needs to be reduced. Solo rank rewards also needs to be increased, due to the new rays limitations.

Please increase the available task including such as troop training, hero gear and construction ?? Please rethink the point goals, rewards, ranking and matching pools and ways to engage and include all player base F2P – the 1%.

We have one whale and surprisingly a F2P player reach the end goal on Monday, before TD was removed from migo. But there being punished as the other 98 players are struggling to reach the end goal. Reason is simple- troop training was easy to do task that required no extra resource usage, you were likely training troops every day anyway so you could just claim it to get "free" points. New TD is clearly meant to require players to use up a lot of stuff, to dry out our backpacks so we will need to buy packs for sotf or svs later.

Yes. When all the F2P and low spend players give up in disgust then the state becomes boring and they lose the whales too. I will never be one who is angry that the spenders get more and have an advantage... they should. My state is relatively peaceful in comparison to what I hear of a lot... and we should be active because of it. We aren't. My alliance is still strong... but even that won't be for long.

• the new throw down
• the skipping hero gens
• the many bugs
• the overflow of events
• the fake events (if you can only participate when paying money it shouldn’t be in the events tab, but in the bundles tab)
• the bad communication
• the horrible matching (not only for alliance events, but also for players events, matching that became worse due to hero gen skips)
  And all I forgot…..

And either we get no response or we get insulted….

the biggest, the baddest state in our state range is unable to meet the 2M points requirement for an alliance. No wonder.. there is not any real point to go all in, since the rewards are really poor for such an effort. 1 Guide and 12x5000 exp.. for the last level. That does not motivate anyone.

Why make hero selection so complicated, berserk, control, resilience. This is supposed to be a game to play for a bit of enjoyment, not something you need to study to doctorate level to understand. By the time I’ve worked out what rally to send SVS will be over.

Devs - Get a grip and sort out the basics and bugs before introducing ridiculous levels of complexity.

Even you need 70 per step like hero. You need get every around 4.5 exchange 1 skill upgrade. While dino you need 70x exchange. Ehich real 1050 shards

So i am sure 1 dino step wont bring you futher then so many upgrades on skills. Most likely its also a dino step without unlocking anything and this is based on a f2p. Taking a mid spender they easily need 300 frags

Yup, basically that's what happened. First PoW event was fun. People liked it and gave overwhelmingly positive feedback about it, but poor whales were crying, so the devs effed the game up for everyone else. 😐

Migo itself has its own issues, like the fact that if I want to keep my rank I have to stay awake and do stupid events just after reset. Points are points, it shouldn't matter at what time I do it during the day.

I was ranked about 13th Sunday, I dropped to about 282nd on Monday am (even though I had completed all tasks and 90% of Sotf), recovered myself to about rank 150, and was then told the only way to maintain it is to do the Intel/Fiends/Digging etc just after reset. Ridiculous.

the reset for me is 9 pm,, on the other hand 90% of other events during the week are during my work 😂
