The whole event was an F before it even started. MIGO rankings is no proof of power or a way to make fair matches. Mixing strong alliances in with weaker ones allowing for maximum bullying.

I watched an alliance in my state burn to the ground by someone 3x their strength and no one could help. They didn’t realize this would happen as they assumed it was mostly a tower game. I woke up at 4:45 am my time for our alliance duel and the enemy team had removed their buildings and we had an auto win. The match was just over as it started.

Moral of the story. Delete the buildings. F the event.

They changed how wounded/killed are calculated when fighting for buildings and due to the fact that killing/wounding contributes the most to getting points we get peanuts when fighting for intended buildings ... In SvS when you rally capital and win or loose after close fight both sides ends up with 200-300k wounded that go to hospital. In alliance duels you rally and your side get 2000 wounded and enemy 0 l, everything juat lightly wounded which gives no points at qll

Today my alliance had duels, MM, trap, behemoth rallies- thqt alone is around 3h. Besides that we need to do intel tasks, fiend rallies, dreadnaught rallies, throwdown tasks etc.....

Funny thing there is no protection at all in alliance duel. In svs you at least get no points for hitting vastly weaker people, in alliance duel p13 can hit p1, get message that he cant plunder rss but will still get points

A friend of mine played today. As per him they had intense tower fight against other state. They did not burn each other. And in the end he as rally lead could not even clear the event. So incentive is if u want to clear event you need to burn. And with tiles removed people will go for settlements. Same happened to many other alliances. What is the whole point of this event.

How is it possible that alliances which play the actual event, fighting one hour intense for the buildings, get less points than Alliances which just go and kill each other. Thats ridiculous. For me it looks like the tower fight is just a smokescreen for a purge to get rid of f2p and low spenders. Cuz there is no, absolutely no sense in fighting for the buildings. The points you get are that ridiculously low, you cant even finish the migo task. Fun Minus seems to think we are all idiots and dont see what the real goal in this event is. I've had a few great people reporting in that their alliances communicated with their opponents to prioritize points without zeroing each other. Unsure how it was done considering the way mechanics work, but it was pretty good to hear there are level headed and community minded people out there thinking with integrity.

If anyone wants to share their ideas or how they managed it in #alliance-duels I'm sure others would appreciate that as well.

Oh dear. Did the devs make wounded/lost the basis for scoring, and then drastically reduce the number of wounded that happen in a tower fight? So that base hits are the only way to make decent numbers of points?

Today I made an agreement with the enemy alliance to not attack HQs. I just DM'd them in game and it was very quickly agreed upon. Both smaller alliances which is probably why. I can't imagine a super whales alliance agreeing to it.

Honestly at this point I'd suggest that events that involve coordination with alliance leadership only happen on weekends and give substantial (not a day or two) time for alliance leadership to discuss, arrange, and carefully consider plans for a game that we play on our phones.

There are ton of issues with alliance duel, from how whole event encourages to just go ham and burn people up to event giving no rewards at all. It is only migo ranking points, you get nothing for participating besides featured ranking. All it achieves is only people who care for top spot will continue to participate, rest will just ditch this uselles event after getting enough for migo tasks or not doing even that. There is 0 incentive to participate and risk loosing troops when you can just bubble and leave it to the whales to fight it out...

At least we get vouchers to get some % of the troops died back and we get other benefits and rewards (debatable if even those rewards are relevant for joiners and f2p/low spenders at this point). Absolutely useless event and not worth, at least for low spenders and f2p

Alliance Duel forces players to go kill others to get good points with permanent losses on each side. Damaging or destroying towers give almost nothing. Also there is not enough time to destroy towers + core building. Re balance points between tower/core vs settlement attacks. Allow enlistment and/or give revival vouchers. Some players could have millions of losses. This is destroying months of efforts and playing in only one hour. If this is a weekly feature, players will massively leave. Call it a mistake, give back the lost troops and fix the event before next time.

In the regular explorer missions some layouts let Sarge's turrets lock infected in that corner. They can't move forward. It was a bug I found about 2 yrs ago, who knows if they fixed it or if it works in these new explorer missions

Not done a detailed comparison, but I usually am online from about 1-5 utc. That’s the main time I have to be on. Many events get delayed so it causes me to try and stay up later, or I have to get up at 4-5 a.m. to try and sneak some game time in before work. Event delays or windows that start hours after reset just cause gameplay to not be feasible.

3 possible solutions.

1. Scrap the event completely.

2. No settlement hit's and increase the ability to gain the merit's since anyone who didn't target settlements couldn't even get 1st level of rewards.

3. Provide the same system that RR has unlimited hospital and troops are completely replaced at the end of the event.

My main alliance was Lucky we had a decent match up and our opponents didn't hit settlement's and neither did we. But in minis event they ported over hit our tower twice couldn't get us out so went back to thier state waited till 2 mins remaining and then ported back and hit a couple of settlements and got the win pathetic IMO.

Still enlistment, but its slow and not enough for many people. And lost troops are still lost. It runs for 58 days. I think the idea with the low points in towers/building was you'd earn enough by the end of the event in 2 months time. But by allowing settlement hits to be worth so much they just sent it 100% in that direction

Not only for personal points which you won't need next time cos you've got them, but also for winning which is a mistake by the devs

Next they'll change it so you can't settlement hit so all the people who got nothing in round 1 won't reach the milestone

Hide a treasure trail through the game on various panels. Finding out clues for example in the stories of heroes.

I agree. If this game is reliant on actually engaging, there shouldn't be such an easy way to skip engaging for only a portion of players who can financially afford it. Many players who don't financially invest would also like expanded access to those tokens, so what we do engage in can be more of a primary focus.

Sure, we do not get enough biocaps to participate in everything but at least we would have a choice. Like do you want to upgrade a hero, try your luck at getting skins or maybe buy more tries in lucky cards for plasma or crystals?

At thia point I can safely say I tried this game near 100 times and never won second level. Once or twice was kinda close but would still need 2-3 reshuffles to actually win. It ia just not possible without paying...

Oh gawd yes. I only use my coins in store to buy some things, and almost always have some left over. If they expanded our ability to use our earned platinum, it would be so helpful for people who actually put effort into their dailies and increase the likelihood others would also do so
