generate and save a new world on empty slot
exit game
open save file
replace .wbox file
launch game
load the world you replaced .wbox file

However, keep in mind that "mobile friendly" doesn't mean that it's always good for your specific phone, pay attention to aspects like the map.wbox KB/MB size and compare it to what your specific phone was already able to run in the past. The definition for "mobile friendly" is just an average, there's always going to be better phones that can also run huge maps and worse phones that even struggle with iceberg.

If you own a PC, you can install maps on iOS as described in this guide: #1213490166023331850 message .
Otherwise, if you only have your iOS device, it's impossible to install maps on iOS because the operating system refuses to give you access to the game files that you'd need to insert the map into.

Layering Terrain in gimp/photoshop is a wonderous thing. Start off with some basic landmasses on the first layer , either mash together DEM data or grab/make some land brushes. then when the basic shapes exist create another layer, this layer details the coasts. then one more layer after. typically for some smaller islands and further detailing. merge all 3 and rinse and repeat until you're satisfied.

Here is some feedback working starting small to huge, 1. the rivers are way to wide forcing civs to travel by boat to colonize (second rev improved this but in general should be smaller unless they are an aesthetic choice). 2. The islands are way too smooth (again your second rev improved this), 3. the lack of islands near the main land is uncanny, this ties in with the smooth islands. 4. The island's beaches should have varying thickness some would be sandy dunes others barely prevalent on the coast. 5. more biome blending is needed, the sudden drop off between candy and grassland looks strange. 6. finally, mountains, they are def tricky to learn and master, but try adding more mountains in areas of highland, they are both serve a purpose and are pleasing to the eye. Optionally, is ocean topography but honestly master these few and you'll have some pretty decent maps pumping out. Best of Luck

Regarding your map, it's pretty obvious that you used the earthquake thing

The rivers don't make much sense, and they are massive compared to the landmass

I really like the biome mixing though

How to access worldbox data folder on android 11 or above:

1. Download a third-party application like "File Manager" from google play,
2. Now go to your phone’s "settings" application, after that find/search an factory system application called "Files" (has a darker blue background with a big white folder in the center of the icon), then click it,
3. you will be showed the "app info" screen after clicked the "Files" application, find the three dots button,
4. After you see the three dots button, click the three dots button and then if it has an "uninstall updates" option there, make sure to choose the option (wait until the uninstalling process is done and completed to avoid a mistake),
5. Now open the third-party application (File Manager) and allow it to manage files,
6. Find the "Android" folder and open it, then open the data folder,
7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,

For this preset, set the river in Azgaar to be 1d1d1d

I disable sand for the heightmap because it makes the land masses look larger if I don't have it

If you want to put in more effort now but less effort when you load it in the game, you're able to go into the biome settings and change the colors in there to match the standard world box pallet. Azgaar uses a lot of greens and sometimes the map bot gets confused, giving you stray biome tiles

I haven't found a way to save your custom colors, but when I do I will tell you and then I'll recommend other people doing the same thing.

This is what I use to make maps in a pixel editor. It's useful for easily eye dropping whatever colors I want for certain terrain types and biomes. After finishing a map I go to #🔁map-conversion and attach **just **the map and do "~c 9x9" (iceberg size).

I personally use the "Aseprite" software with this template which is ~$20 on steam.
But you can use these free options which work pretty well also:

• Libresprite: https://libresprite.github.io (much eariler version of aseprite, this is what I would recommend)
• Lospec: https://lospec.com/pixel-editor/ (web editor)
• Pixilart: https://www.pixilart.com/draw?ref=home-page (web editor)
  You can probably find other alternatives online easily if you prefer
