I know none of this could have been done without you, the Worldboxians. Together, we overcame a once in a century brain rot and the worst riot since DN riots . We've protected and preserved our ~~Dictatorship~~ Democracy. And we've revitalized and strengthened our alliances around the worldboxia.

It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your Moderator. And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my staff team and the server for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as Moderator for the remainder of my term.

I will speak to the server later this week in more detail about my decision.

This is my smallest map by size, due to the fact that this map isn't meant to be a massive continent or landmass.

it also serves as a warm up for me coming back to map creation and allat.

The map features 1 Megacity and 2 Smaller towns.
None of them are populated as your supposed to do that yourself and it gives you the option to have these cities empty/deserted on start.

Genoise/Sponge Cake
Ingredients required:

3 eggs
1/2 or 3/4 cup of sugar
85 gm flour
3.5 bottle cap vanilla essence
30 ml olive oil
Preperation:
Crack three fresh eggs in a bowl
Take a bowl of warm water (50°c) and place the egg bowl over it
Start whisking the eggs in an upward triangular motion (this is done to incorporate air in the batter)
While whisking, add small quantities of sugar every 5 mins (do it 4-5 times)
Sprinke the flour and whisk (3-4 times)
Add the vanilla essence and whisk
Add the oil and whisk
Whisk in the cut&fold method till the batter is fluffy and white (check the batter by tapping the bottom of the bowl, it should sound hollow and the batter should have ribbon consistency)
Take a cake tin (or a disposable one) and gently pour the batter in it (make sure no air escapes or less the batter will flatten)
Keep it in an oven at 175-180°c and bake till golden brown colour.
After baking, demould the sponge
Consume with whatever you want

Hello! I just got the artist role but I've made a ton of worldbox related art in the last year. Most of it I've never shown on here (at least not directly).
I tried to figure out a way to post it all at once but it's a bit too much to include all in one post so I'll make posts here gradually. I'll make sure to include a brand new art piece with each of these posts.

Here's the old:
1. [Featuring all 5 mages] are two separate images (combined into one for this post). I made these 2 mage fights as nice little images for the wiki on the "Mages" and "Other Mages" pages. Some of you may recognize the top one with the White and Evil mage from the server's recent halloween event where a __recolored __version of it was displayed for the final turn (this is where the brand new art comes in).
🪺 2. The [12 eggs] pictured here are colored in versions of the blacked-out icons from the first egg sneak peak from June 3rd. If you haven't noticed two of these blacked-out icons were revealed in the sneakbox steam post.
🌱 3. The [7 seeds] here were actually inspired by a very similar idea with me coloring in blacked-out biome seed icons from the sneak peak from Sept 4, 2023. When I made these I expected (and still expect) most of them to be far off from what the seeds will actually look like and just tried to have fun with it.
🔥 4 & 5. The [Flame Druid] was something I just randomly wanted to make one day. I happened to have the evil mage sprite right next to the druid and just got inspired in the moment. Definitely one of my favorites even if it is mostly just a recolor. Here's what the description would be: She snapped after ages of being powerless while mages burned down the worldscape and decided it was time to fight fire with fire

Weapons

🔪 Scythes: These were first posted here: #🎨art message. Would be a weapon with a decent critical chance, low base damage, and long + wide range.
🔱 Tridents: Were posted with Scythes.^ Would be a throw-able weapon with low range but high damage. They would bonuce a little bit back toward the unit that threw it unless the victim dies. Units would have to run to retrieve the item to use it again.
🏹 Crossbows: I think worldbox needs some other ranged weapons to compete with bows ||(maybe catapults too 👀 )||. These would have less range and fire rate but be more accurate and deal more damage.
⛓️ Maces and Flails: Slow attack speed and low range in exchange for massive damage and knockback. And maybe a bit of a splash effect (like hammers bit a little weaker).

All of these podiums can be found in the game's assets I did not make them. What I did was I took the empty podiums and moved the original statue (far left) onto the other podiums and then edited the statues to reflect the weapons each race prefers:

The Greater Crab. Greater crabs are a type of crab that only spawns in a specific circumstance in game. Up to four of them spawn when Crabzilla dies (**happens in vanilla **game). They come with 4 extra traits normal crabs don't have [evil, fire blood, fire proof, tough]. They don't have a unique skin and just use the normal crab texture so I decided to make one (probably going to add it to a mod eventually).

     For decades, we’ve had the very same people, such as "Eyequ" and many others just like him, obsessed with pushing the Fr0h Mafia back into the Discord server—not to mention the admin team’s support for Fr0h uprisings in WorldBox. These people have been seeking confrontation for a long time, much like the case in Mixland and other places of the world. And now we’re teetering on the brink of Fr0h’s takeover, and a lot of people don’t see it—but I see it, and I’ve been right about a lot of things. They all say, "Jarz has been right about everything."

     None of this excuses, in any way, the outrageous and horrible banning of 3mk one day ago, which would have never happened if I was your moderator—not even a little chance. But it does mean that here in WorldBox, we need to get rid of the corrupt lobbyist establishment that has botched every major internal policy decision for decades. And that includes Administrator Eyequ, whose own people say he’s never been a good decision when it comes to looking at other members and tackling corruption.

     We have to replace them with people who support WorldBoxian interests. Over our two years in the mod team, we made incredible progress in putting the Fr0hian lobbyists aside and bringing the WorldBox server to prosperity. And now we’re going to complete the mission. The admin team, mod team, and general chat will be a very different place by the end of my administration. In fact, just into my administration, it will be a very different place, and it will get things done. Just like I did two years ago—we never had it so good.

     We will also stop the Fr0h supporters and the Oiljohnian racists from going in and pushing our senior mod team members toward conflict and appeal approval, only to reward them when they retire with lucrative job offers in their mafias, getting paid millions and millions of dollars. Take a look at the globalist warmongers, Fr0h and Oiljohn, backing our opponents. That’s because they’re candidates of war. I am the moderator who delivers peace, and it’s peace through strength.

     There was a reason we had no conflict. There was a reason there were no uprisings—because other servers respected us. I entirely built that respect. All right from the beginning, we built our respect. It’s a big reason for that—they didn’t want to mess with WorldBox. And now they’re laughing at us. We can end the Fr0h conflict in 24 hours with the right leadership.

     At the end of my two years in 2028, the warmongers, frauds, and failures in the senior ranks of the staff team will all be gone. And we will have a new group of competent staff members who believe in defending WorldBox’s vital interests above all else.

Once Three Monks have shared the same plane of existence for Hundred Years they ascend to Stage 3.
If One of these Three Monks is killed they revert to their regular form.
Now After this if the Monks have stayed in Stage Three for 500 Years, They Ascend further to Stage 4. Here they unlock special abilities and a New Form ( Unification ).

Lime and Glided Orange Biomes
I made the lime biome several months ago but never shared it here. I made some slight edits and added some more stuff to it for this post though.
The "Glided Orange" biome is something I haven't shared anywhere as I just finished making it. Both of these biomes are inspired by the lemon biome.

More Info

Biome Seeds: In the middle right of the 2nd image in both sections you can find the biome seeds (foods with the faces)
New Foods: In the top right of the 2nd image is the orange and lime as a food that unit's could consume. In the bottom right there is the special soda version. In the third image you can see how civs would craft the sodas along with how much hunger and health the sodas, orange, and lime restore and traits/statuses they would have a chance of giving.
Mobs in the lime biome are friendly and the mobs in the orange biome are aggressive. Limes have the same stats as lemons but have the acid immunity trait by default (lemons have poison immunity). You can see the stats and default traits of the new mobs in the 4th image
Little lime name: Lime Gurl (little lemons are called "Lemon Bois")
Big lime name: Lime Woman (big/humanoid lemons are called "Lemon Men")
Little orange name: Orange Child
Big orange name: Orange Brute

Once a society involved in Dark Arts unlocks Interdimensional Summon (Fig 1), It can Summon the Lower Eye Tower (Fig 2) that stands in the Kingdom. If ever there is war going on within kingdom boundaries, the towers summons its interdimensional Hands (Fig 3) and helps to battle enemies. The Hands after summoning can roam around the Kingdom as they will. Another Pair of Hands can only be summoned once both of the summoned hands die. If the Tower collapses and reverts from this plane of existence, leaving the hands unsupervised.... The Hands get turned into God Finger.

For the first time in the World Box servers history several users have committed themselves to setting an example, an example that dedication comes with sacrifice. In the last 200 hours of our VC 1 Marathon we have witnessed over 50 rule violations, and many more on the edge of breaking those rules. But that isnt what we were doing this for, at a certain point we started getting some of the craziest, wackiest, and hilarious moments that we can look back on, completely outnumbering the bad things 2 to 1. There will never been another VC like this in worldbox, or maybe there will be. My interpretation of an Auroria Continent from MMO RPG Archeage. It's located on the north from East and West continents. I'm planning to merge all my AA maps into one huge megamap in future.

Here I use my technique of making the kingdoms' borders follow the terrain. I put all impassible pixels (water, mountains, lava) exactly between 8x8 squares reserved for the national/city borders. I think it makes kingdoms and cities look more natural as they don't spread infinitely in random directions, but follow the terrain just like in real life. Looking forward for you feedback!

🛡️ Shields: I bet some of you have noticed how shields are already in the game but right now they are just cosmetic and not actual items. So I made icons and recolored versions of the already existing shields to reflect material visually (similar to weapons). Weapons

🔪 Scythes: These were first posted here: #🎨art message. Would be a weapon with a decent critical chance, low base damage, and long + wide range.
🔱 Tridents: Were posted with Scythes.^ Would be a throw-able weapon with low range but high damage. They would bonuce a little bit back toward the unit that threw it unless the victim dies. Units would have to run to retrieve the item to use it again.
🏹 Crossbows: I think worldbox needs some other ranged weapons to compete with bows ||(maybe catapults too 👀 )||. These would have less range and fire rate but be more accurate and deal more damage.
⛓️ Maces and Flails: Slow attack speed and low range in exchange for massive damage and knockback. And maybe a bit of a splash effect (like hammers bit a little weaker).

(all of these except the gold items have been posted openly somewhere else before now, mostly reddit)

For these I was mostly going for "what would different spawners look like if they were merged together?".
On the first image here are what each __columns __contain:

Original Spawners [Biomass, Tumor, Super Pumpkin]
Alternate Spawners (supposed to represent of the opposite of the originals [Blind, [Spongor] [Super Apple])
Cybercore Merged Spawners [Illusion, Smokor, Hyper Turret]
Biomass Merged Spawners [Corroded (Biomass + Tumor), Symbior, Mega Nest]
:wbpumpkin:Super Pumpkin Merged Spawners [Infested, Injector, Super Rot (Super Pumpkin + Tumor)]
The second image is all about the Cybercore. Descriptions and things are all based of the actual Cybercore (cybercore minions are called assimilators)

Biocore, slow units and shotguns deal more damage but have less range.
Electroncore, fast units with high damage and long range snipers but they have a very slow fire rate.
:cursed:Viruscore, units are very vulnerable to fire. They come with a low damage shotgun that poisons and infects victims

After selecting somebody, hold left click within their weapons equipment area swiping it left than clicking on it which permanently unlocks the equipment across the entire game. It's a bug so be warned this isn't exactly ethical behavior if you choose to discover everything yourself. Shotgun is not unlockable through here.

How to fix Pop growth and Expansion in beta (until it gets fixed
Go to subspecies tab and use the following traits.
-Hermaphroditic Reproduction
-Viviparity
-Short Gestation
-Telepathic Link (for Expansion)
-if you have it, use High Fecundity aswell.
-(if you want to supercharge them then just shove asmuch offspring genetics in as possible)
Next you go to Debug menu and scroll down to "Civ Cheats" then turn on CITYFASTPOPGROWTH
(These steps will return pop growth similar to pre beta levels.)

All of these podiums can be found in the game's assets I did not make them. What I did was I took the empty podiums and moved the original statue (far left) onto the other podiums and then edited the statues to reflect the weapons each race prefers:

New Things -----------------------------------------------------------------
The Greater Crab. Greater crabs are a type of crab that only spawns in a specific circumstance in game. Up to four of them spawn when Crabzilla dies (**happens in vanilla **game). They come with 4 extra traits normal crabs don't have [evil, fire blood, fire proof, tough]. They don't have a unique skin and just use the normal crab texture so I decided to make one (probably going to add it to a mod eventually).

A European Inspired Island Based in the middle of nowhere bruh.
This is my smallest map by size, due to the fact that this map isn't meant to be a massive continent or landmass.

it also serves as a warm up for me coming back to map creation and allat.

The map features 1 Megacity and 2 Smaller towns.
None of them are populated as your supposed to do that yourself and it gives you the option to have these cities empty/deserted on start.

My next map will be alot larger (alot larger) and will still follow a similar theme to this one. 🫡

Isles of Magniflonia
Standard sized map
Small archipelago map with 7 different islands all of which are different in terms of size, use, land and shape.
A small Mediterranean archipelago located just underneath Greece, the islands are very rich in terms of Ores and natural resources with it's small and dense size creating the perfect place for Towns and Cities.

Maly's Tamriel - With Kingdoms, Races, Cultures, etc

I decided to populate the 32x24 version of @blazing trout 's Tamriel map with the proper provinces and races from the games. They start out as small villages on this map, and can be edited and grown at the player's leisure and discretion.

Also changed the biome for Thras and put down some "Sload" as a lil added bonus for fun 👽🙏

Lime and Glided Orange Biomes
I made the lime biome several months ago but never shared it here. I made some slight edits and added some more stuff to it for this post though.
The "Glided Orange" biome is something I haven't shared anywhere as I just finished making it. Both of these biomes are inspired by the lemon biome.

More Info

Biome Seeds: In the middle right of the 2nd image in both sections you can find the biome seeds (foods with the faces)
New Foods: In the top right of the 2nd image is the orange and lime as a food that unit's could consume. In the bottom right there is the special soda version. In the third image you can see how civs would craft the sodas along with how much hunger and health the sodas, orange, and lime restore and traits/statuses they would have a chance of giving.
Mobs in the lime biome are friendly and the mobs in the orange biome are aggressive. Limes have the same stats as lemons but have the acid immunity trait by default (lemons have poison immunity). You can see the stats and default traits of the new mobs in the 4th image
Little lime name: Lime Gurl (little lemons are called "Lemon Bois")
Big lime name: Lime Woman (big/humanoid lemons are called "Lemon Men")
Little orange name: Orange Child
Big orange name: Orange Brute

Once a Monk is spawned it wanders around the lands and finds a peaceful kingdom to meditate in.
Once Three Monks have shared the same plane of existence for Hundred Years they ascend to Stage 3.
If One of these Three Monks is killed they revert to their regular form.
Now After this if the Monks have stayed in Stage Three for 500 Years, They Ascend further to Stage 4. Here they unlock special abilities and a New Form ( Unification ).
Unification is showed in Figure 5.

If ever there is war going on within kingdom boundaries, the towers summons its interdimensional Hands (Fig 3) and helps to battle enemies. The Hands after summoning can roam around the Kingdom as they will. Another Pair of Hands can only be summoned once both of the summoned hands die. If the Tower collapses and reverts from this plane of existence, leaving the hands unsupervised.... The Hands get turned into God Finger.

ArcheAge: Haranya (East Continent)

This is an update of my previous ArcheAge East Continent map for Beta with new biomes. However, this time not only I enhanced the map itself, but also added some role-play guide based on the original ArcheAge game.

In the attached files you'll find borders markup with names of cities and provinces. The map of cities contains lore-based locations of sentient species, but feel free to exercise your own fantasy. Most of the names were taken from in-game map, but unfortunately not all locations are present in game. I created my own names for missing locations. Also, I didn't put there any races recommendations because these lands are supposed to be colonized in time.

I assume the devs planned to add a race of revenants (reborn?), but they never did it, and they didn't provide much of information about it. So I didn't include it in my map.

So for now the lore-based races are:

Harani (people)
Firran (cat-people)
Battleborn (demonic people)
Orcs
Gnolls
Snake-eyed
Lillies*

*They are not a full-scale race in game (they are rather some black magic anomaly), but I decided to add them just for a diversity

I know Shin asked for a week of silence, but I’d like to say something. This isn’t exactly my forte but the awfulness in the comments on that post… I just felt the genuine need to put my thoughts into words.

When you find the strength to express yourself, and be who you want to be, it isn’t always easy. There’s doubts. People you know won’t accept it. People who will treat you like dirt where they once treated you with open arms. But still, you find a way to be yourself. And that’s amazing, and so are you. You are perfect however you want to view yourself. Trans, cis, gay, straight, whatever you are, you are amazing and wonderful and valid for being who you are, and I love you for it. You are making the world better just by being yourself, and providing us all with your wonderful identities.

The world we live in is a very tumultuous place right now. A place that breeds a lot of good, but also a lot of evil. And with the online world growing more and more? In some places, evil triumphs over good. There isn’t always a happy ending. And… sadly, in the case of Charlotte Fosgate, the girl from the tweet, this… was not a happy ending. She didn’t deserve what happened to her. It was a choice she made, yes, but it was a choice brought on by how she was treated by awful, awful people. It’s awful that the hate in the world is what drove her to take her own life, and we should all grieve for her. She put herself out there, and sadly, people were too cruel to accept who she was. But that doesn’t mean you should ever doubt yourself. You cannot let them win just because they cause things like this to happen. You should be who you want to be. Because it’s better to live as what makes you happiest than to hide away. The only way these people are going to go away is if we put our foot down and help stop them. Put an end to their bigoted and awful treatment of those who just want to be themselves.

If you know someone who is struggling mentally, or in the closet because of an abusive family, please. Be there for them. Don’t let them feel alone. Helpless. Forgotten. Help them feel loved in the way someone who is there for them can provide.

Presenting the first ever Warhammer 40k map set during the Horus Heresy. With a good level of accuracy it features the galactic map of the Imperium of Man with segmentums, and accurate locations for each of the Primarch planets. Half of the Primarch planets were modeled after direct images of them and the rest were based heavily on description. It also features most of the important lore characters down to first captains of each Space Marine legion and many of the unit types. Every subspecies, culture, language, and religion has already been balanced appropriately (IMO) and the heresy is ready to unfold. Remove the population controls in the world laws if you want larger battles.

After the ruin of his last creation, the Architect lingered long upon the ashes. The comet’s heart, black and burning with demonic essence, had shattered his design and poisoned the land it touched. Yet instead of despair, curiosity took root within him. He carved from the fallen star a fragment of its heart, and from the soil it had twisted he gathered a sample of the tainted earth.

Intervention after creation was a law he had sworn never to break—a divine taboo woven by him into himself. But this was no ordinary circumstance. Never before had such corruption descended upon his works. Never before had his worlds been soiled by a power not his own. And so, for the first time, the Architect chose to break his oath.

He studied the black flame that clung to the meteor’s shard, the crawling sickness that had devoured forests and reshaped mountains. What he discovered both alarmed and enthralled him: it was not destruction alone, but transformation. It consumed and twisted, yes, but in its wake it left the seeds of strange new life, born of shadow and hunger.

Thus he resolved to test it. From the dust of infinity he wove a new world, and into its foundation he placed the shard of taint. He did not bind the whole comet-heart to it; only a fragment, a whisper. Without the source, the corruption would not devour all at once. It would spread slowly, forcing the newborn world to adapt, to struggle, to evolve with it.

Still, the Architect was not reckless. As guardian and failsafe, he planted at the heart of this world a World Tree, its roots drinking deep of the land, its branches brushing the sky. Should the demonic energy overflow, the Tree’s essence would purify and restrain it. As long as the Tree endured, so too would the balance of the world.

And so, for the first time, he begin to observe this new world, with a new and unique interest of this new "ramification" of such contrasting concepts into his worlds.

Was supposed to be a map for halloween, but I didn't manage to make it on time...
I know it may not look like this, but here are many canals on the map connecting all the seas, allowing ships to move all around the map.
Also playtested this and made sure villages can be founded practically everywhere.
Although I recommend creating more "hellish" civilizations while playing on this map, humans and other stuff also work here with no issues.

Finally, here is the map I was talking about in the map discussion section.
It has the size 20x12 (More specifically almost 3 iceberg maps).
I would divide it into volcanic-Demonic biome, coastal desert biome. There is also the island with a shape reminiscent of a crab claw which is far from the rest (Its biome is tropical), and we can say that it is a quieter place away from all the war.
Above the world there is like an inner world which can only be accessed at the tip of the skull's ropes whose biome is the biome of the rocks.
This rock biome is also inside the pentagram, more specifically in the right and left peaks of the pentagram and we can say that this inner world also encompasses them although they are somewhat separated and accessing them is difficult because it is crossing lava with very narrow passages. In fact, I like the idea of building impregnable fortresses inside.
The world has activated the Age of Chaos, the Age of Darkness, and the Age of Ash with an elapsed time of x20
There are no civilizations, there is no animal fauna, although there is a lot of plant fauna.
On one side of the hand-shaped temple I already placed sapient species, all of them already modified with traits of high health, resistance, speed, strength and some special magical abilities, basically they are greatly increased and ready to kill each other.

In essence, it is a warlike, chaotic, and hostile world but with many doors open for many adventures and battles. I don't honestly think it's cell phone friendly unless you have a really good cell phone. I recommend playing it on PC and pausing it the moment you enter the world, in case you want to play with the sapient species already set by me so that they do not kill each other by not having civilization. Or if you just want to delete them, you already know their location 🙂

All areas that units should not have access to are separated by a thick line of mountains, preventing in most cases all creatures from accessing it, however:
-if a civilization's religion develops teleport trait, the units may be able to access parts they shouldn't, so if you notice it, I recommend just disabling this trait for better experience, if you don't want them to do it
-From time to time units somehow get into the parts they shouldn't be able to access, and I still don't really have idea why and how this happens, although very few units in the scale of whole civilization do it so it doesn't really interrupt the gameplay that much. I just can't really do anything
I apologize for those 2 inconveniences, but I just could't really do anything about them.
Also, the minerals are disabled from spawning naturally and a lot of them is already distributed to make possible for civilizations to build their own mines and get the minerals on their own, but if the minerals spawning in the inaccessible parts of the world aren't a problem for you, you can enable it, or just give them to kingdoms yourself if you think they don't have enough of them.

I tested this map a lot, made a lot of changes and made sure I made playing it as enjoyable as I could.
I know it's a very specific style and a lot of people will think this map plays like garbage, and I understand it as everyone has the right to have their own preferences, I just wanted to clarify that I worked really hard for this map to be BOTH pretty good looking AND fun to play (at least for me). There are some things I couldn't really do much about that make the gameplay not as perfect as I would like it to be, but in my opinion it turned out pretty well, I did what I could, and I apologize for what I couldn't.
I can definitely say that making this was super fun and I hope I will make another map like this in the future.
(Made entirely in worldbox btw, no other tools/programmes used)

It's my immense pleasure to present this map of Azeroth, as seen from the game World of Warcraft. It was very fun working on this map as I've enjoyed the lore of the verse since I was younger. I tried to get the map as accurate as I could. Units will path across the map through the same mountain passes and bridges as in the game. The map also features almost every in game zone on Azeroth. There are also a multitude of references to the game drawn into the map.

The coastlines were drawn post Cataclysm, however I wanted to re-enact the First War just after the opening of the Dark Portal, so most of the biomes and factions were made with that in mind. Important lore characters have been added to every factions as well. All units, cultures and languages have been balanced as best as I could get them (I didn't do religion though.) Hope you all enjoy.

My brand new world designed from scratch. It has a diverse landscape, with biomes large enough to sustain one or more cities.

Natural borders play a key role in shaping the world: two-pixel-wide rivers can only be crossed at specific points, while smaller rivers remain freely passable. Mountains are impassable, but carefully placed passes create strategic chokepoints that influence expansion and warfare.

The majority of these artists of course are against AI. You decide to ping a huge amount of that community advertising a game made with heavy AI usage, and somehow expect that a community filled to the brim with people who hate AI will play it. And as a large figure in the development of Worldbox, your opinions reflect on the rest of the developers and thus, Worldbox. That’s now a heavy amount of people who aren’t willing to support Worldbox because one of their social media outlets has just advertised some guy’s slop. Also, the fact that you’re advertising it doesn’t reflect well on the quality standards of Worldbox because if this is the standard of quality the devs believe in, then why would we believe that the quality of Worldbox will stick to the standards it’s had up until now?
