Why would a slow computer have ANY effect on the time it takes to find a server and players to match with? That makes no sense.

A slow computer would affect the time it takes to load data from the game (like loading loot, loading loot pools after you find a server), which isn't what people are complaining about. My computer is just fine and I load that just fine. It takes upwards of 10 minutes just to find a game to play with.

i played old school dayz mod, and imo npc traders ruined the game on servers that incorporated them.. for the most part you had to find everything yourself, which gave you a more immersive connection to your gear... although you could find other players [stashed] shit so it was different..

maybe i would have liked traders more if it didn't require "god mode/invulnerability zones" in the otherwise open world kill or be killed world.. real jarring for immersion

Penalties for killing a scav do seem to have increased from 0.02 to 0.05, it could well be that the people who do go shooting every scav they come across eventually become scarce as cooldowns increase, and they are unable to defend themselves with crappy loadouts, but at the same time, I've read that it is fairly easy to cheese the karma back up with paid extracts.

PMC runs feel good atm, but only for so long. I feel like I need to move away from scav runs though and hurry up trying to get to level 20 before I leave myself at a huge disadvantage.
