PVS7 is just biocular which is what makes it shit you’re just doubling the same image

But if you have an old 7 then you’re just cooked cause your image will be inverted if it’s a MX10130

hey, ive got a PKAS sight that attaches via a dovetail. it only is able to get about halfway down the dovetail on my WASR10 before it gets stuck even while the lever is set to allow it to be taken on or off. anyone able to help me out here? IDK how to adjust the tightness of this lock if thats the issue.

You have to reduce the tension on the mount

To be able to get it to slide onto that style of rail

Because it probably does work

It's just too tight

Essentially you'd have to pull that down, rotate it another turn and it will probably loosen it up to be able to allow you to slide it on because odds are that brass middle section is just to prevent it from over traveling

If you pop that piece down and rotate it another turn it's going to probably loosen up the tension because from what I'm seeing here is it threads into the top metal section with the lower section only being non-threaded

I cant tell if its my rail or the mount.I ended up taking the screw and lever off after it didnt work for some reason. and even without any of that on, it still gets stuck in the same place. and its solid stuck too. I have to damn near rip it off, wiggling it for 5 ish minutes in order to not damage anything

At this point all I can really say is it's probably the mount

It's probably based off the saiga universal mount that you now currently see on the Yugo pattern rifles
