I have come to the conclusion that shot guns in this game are completely un realistic, im pretty sure if you pump a 12g into someones chest they aint gonna be jumping around like a fairy before one tapping you

In Tarkov if you have the same kind of punchup a fight like that would end up getting you killed in the long run

@scenic stag tarkov is very very different though, i play some tarkov and have played alot of warzone and rust and i can garantuee that tarkov will be quite alot more "real" (with a lack of better words) both rust and CoD (and im quite certain PubG aswell) dont punish you getting wounded for example as heavily, in these games getting wounded simply gets you closer to death whereas in tarkov if you get wounded your abilities to fight are drasticaly decreased, you will bleed out, you will miss your shots you will be stuck in one place because both your legs are broken reducing your movement speed to practicaly nothing, and even if you move it will either hurt you even more or make your screen move all over the place (making aiming a useless practice) apart from just the healing system there are countless of differences, modding your weapons has way more impact then in CoD, changing your barrel wont make you a little bit more accurate, it will affect you when moving through small spaces, it will impact recoil... apart from the modding being more impactfull there is also absolutely no balance... tarkov can get away with having things be more powerfull and straight up more usefull because there is an economy behind it, if you have the best gun in the game, everyone is going to want to have it aswell which will rack up the price... this also means that unless you are drowning in cash which most people arent youll be up against people who are better equiped (better armor better guns better supplies) making tarkov an essentially unbalanced/unfair game, also on what kimhail said, you might survive an encounter with someone with better gear but if you dont ahve enough time and medical supplies to patch yourself up you will die in the next making it so you lose all your gear and thus nullifying your previous victory. and those are just the basics...

So just went in on a raid to do the dehydration mission for jager. As I’m eating croutons two other players run by. I only brought a pistol. I followed them all the way until we got to a building in which I put my pistol away in my vest and started yelling cease fire repeatedly and saying that I was hurt. I made myself known by jumping on cars outside the building. They were both Russian and kept mumbling something I didn’t understand. Coming out of nowhere is a player scav that isn’t hostile towards me either. I assume the players didn’t see him. He came up and gave me meds and then noticed players in the building still. I’m just eating away at the 20 packs of rye croutons I brought in as if this shit is something I’m a bystander of. Player scav takes the corner around the building as the players are coming out. As the size me up the turn and look at the player scav and it’s a solid 1 minute staring contest before shots just rang out in which I died in the midst of. I completed my quest for jager.

Try playing on different servers. Don't stay matching for so long. Restart your queuing after 5-8 minutes.
