Need some input if anyone experienced or knowledgable could offer advice. I'm lvl 46 but only lvl 12 skill strength (even lower a day ago when i wasnt training it) and I am trying to find the best method to build up strength. My current strategy is multiple docs cases filled with SAS drives (each full case is 13.5kg and I have 3 atm). I have about 40kg in my pouch and then I throw on a little extra to get me to around 60kg and Ive just been sprinting to extract as soon as I spawn in. Question is about stimulants, Ive seen videos of people taking L1's and sj6's and running for several minutes and when they are done theyve ranked up several skill levels like nearly 100 skill points or so. I do it and I don't even think it budged my skill level. Did they change that and can you no longer use stims to assist physical skill leveling in 12.8, and does anyone have suggestions on how to improve this strength skill method?

@leaden hamlet you need to be in level 1 overweight for the longest time possible. run until your stamina is nearly empty and never let it fill up 100%. run stashes on interchange with an avs in a raid bag. that's what I did. I'm level 47 with nearly max str and elite endurance.

Level 1 overweight is where you can still regen stam while walking.

You could also just shove a metric shit ton of buckshot in a trizip and play "extract" for a week.

Thanks for the advice, but don't you have to be over 65% of weight capacity to lvl up strength? I thought that also made it so you couldnt regen stamina while walking at that point. I will try not letting stamina recharge all the way, ive been putting a good amount of buckshot in my bag each raid lol but the docs cases of sas drives help save some roubles in the long run i think

would i get more strength skill upgrade at that point, cuz while using sj6's i don't notice any skill upgrade, its only the first sprint session at the start of the raid and then every sprint after is about half as much skill increase as the previous one. So I've just been essentially sprinting to extract and then restarting the process. Is that the best way?

I just ran stashes and made sure i was 60kg+ halfway to extract tbh. never let my stam bar fill up or run out. Id go into raid at about 40-45kg and extract around 65-70 with AVS + loot in a full backpack. I also made millions doing this.

and you always get the backpack/avs back in insurance. especially if it's the mechanism bag and an avs with a low durability.
