It all depends on the card you buy, the 80 and 90 were the hardest hit by being out of spec with their power management system, most 70s are fine if you don't plan to OC it, and if you do you just need to get one of the higher end ones.

@hasty escarp blind fire if ur playing really aggressive checking corners an all, blind firing lets you be more efficient when moving around quickly, watch quatroace he does a really nice aggressive playstyle. but if ur into slow sneaky game play, then making sure that you dont make much noise and hearing other players first is key, wait for gun shots footsteps any sound ques and slowly follow it. u can get alot of sneak attacks off like that. idk much im still level 7 lmao. but its decent advise id say.

However, sometimes you just need to find an alternative solution. If the market is going to be scuffed like this, then just learn to do loot runs for bullets. You have to adapt with the changes not fight them.

The difference is miniscule in gaming performance. If streaming, then go for it and focus on 1080/60 stream quality.

Tarkov is shit optimized. U could have a really powerful computer n barely push 60-70 fps on medium. Tarkov isn't optimized well. Its mainly CPU N Ram reliant, doesn't use your GPU correctly/utilize it all.

If u want to upgrade ur CPU u might as well just go to the 5950x series instead of just going up 1 tier

@smoky grotto that's your gpu. Tarkov is weird... Try everything at medium with a post fx setup. I have a 5700xt and was only getting 50-60 frames on reserve with everything on low. My gpu drivers crashed and tarkov reset everything to high and now I get 90+.

@visual bluff just wanted to follow up on the thing about whether your PC can run tarkov. I was able to test it and it runs pretty well (1080p, 60+fps) on max settings on my 3600 and 1650S. I couldn't manage to underclock it (I am overclocking noob - I just let MSI afterburner decide my clocks) but I found a review on google from some months ago when the game was less optimized saying it ran fine (1080p, 50 to 90fps) on medium-high settings with a 1060ti and a Ryzen 5 2600x, so you should be able to run it just fine on a 1650 and a 3600, especially with the recent optimizations.
