Start with your questing. So thats ground zero. Its rougher this wipe as the lvl split was removed but its still doable by a newb. Do offline raid to learn map

I wouldn't learn ground zero, just get the baseline to get your tasks done. You'll have plenty of time to learn it later, but it's not great for loot compared to other maps, and PvP is annoying on it.

If you want to learn a map, I'd start with something like Streets or Customs - Streets is easy to learn thanks to the extraction system, you can tell where you spawn because your extracts are as far away as possible, so keep a map up. It's a great map to learn how to loot. Not my favorite PvP, but it can have it's moments. Customs is my favorite map to PvP on, it has a ton of early game Kappa required tasks on it, and provides avenues for every type of engagement you could want, plus it's flow makes the most sense - people path in a predictable way, making it easy to either find fights or avoid fights.

Why, the lighthouse silly. Fr though, just do scav runs and book it to the nearest extract. Kill a ton of scavs and dont worry about Fence reputation. That's what I do and it nets me some good gear

Ehhhh. He raises his prices depending on how bad your rep is. He gives you missions to fix that. Most of them are killing PMC's with a weapon of choice.

So there's no real downside. Unless you're shit at pvp.

Just about anything you'd want you can get from raids "easily" but at lvl1 trader the stuff they offer isn't great like the ammo is only good for flesh dmg. I tended to buy mags for specific guns or healing items to have them on hand. Otherwise just buy and sell enough to get to the required money for lvl up

Starting out don't bother with reselling, focus on lvling up yourself and finishing quests. Loot and sell it if it isn't needed for hideout currently. Only resell if the money spent is the last requirement and then I'd say whatever you can afford really. Money comes and goes

No, this is because the laser is not inside the barrel, it will always point that same distance to the side. If your laser was somehow pointing at the point of impact at close range then it would be have to be not paralell to the barrel and wildly off at longer ranges

I've been trying to complete the BTR tasks on woods but literally everytime i've tried the BTR bugs. At first it just doesn't let me use the BTR travel function. I dont remember when FIR only market was in the game but now you can sell non FIR in the market, PvE and PvP have different market and get ready to pay lots in PvE because everyone is super rich, if youre looking to buy hideout items from flea they changed it and hideout can only be upgraded from FIR items

Dont worry about that, everyone has none of the starting gear after a few raids. What you should be doing is running scav for new kits then play on pmc with them and learn the game, as you start to feel confident with a map and its extracts you will naturally start surviving on pmc eventually and gain money amd gear that way

Its very normal for new players to die all the time, i had about a 25% survival rate on my first ever wipe

And probably way lower on my first 100 pmc raids

So I know at Peacekeeper level 1 you can buy 5.56 RRLP which is 11 pen and 72 damage. That essentially means you want to be aiming for legs, arms, unarmored parts of the body. I would try those first. At level 2 Peacekeeper you can buy 5.56 856 ammo which has 18 pen and 60 damage. After you do a task called Tigr Safari, you can get 5.56 FMJ which is 23 pen and 57 damage. The more you level up peacekeeper the better ammo you'll get for 5.56 NATO.

3BTG and AHF1 are a pain to find. They're easiest found on Labs, specifically in Black, but they can be found in the areas near black. They can also rarely be found on Shoreline, unfortunately the most common place is on Sanitar and his guards so you'd have to poach his loot or pray for one in a duffel or med bag (they only spawn in duffel and med bags on shoreline, they will not spawn on other maps). Personally? I'd just kill Sanitar for sake of progress

Also keep in mind, you need both of those stims for Samples, another Kappa required task, so using them on Colleagues means you need to find another one of each to get Kappa

How do I determine what medical items to bring to a raid? I can read what the differences between ifak, afak, salewa and grizzly are but it’s hard to translate it into decisions. Currently I’m just always bringing an afak together with bandage, splint and a turniq. But maybe different scenarios calls for different setups?

What you should always aim for is : Salewa/Kalok/Splint/Bandage and some kind of analgesic into raid (if you have injector case some of them do that labor) but all of this Im telling you always depend on the money and items availability ^^, this hardcore wipe is kinda restrcited with the meds

Most rigs and some backpacks give more storage room than they physically take up, so its useful in the beginning to keep a few to help get a lil more space on stash. Over time you want to work towards the stash upgrade in hideout and lvling traders to get access to big storage containers (scav loot box and the item cases are great)

Also you don't need to hoard everything, especially guns and ammo if they're low quality. Check what you need for 2 or 3 hideout upgrades and tag them for easy finding, sell other valuables.
You can slim down guns by removing mag and pistol grip or folding stock.

game will not let me load into a raid for prolonged periods.. meaning im getting kicked for failure to detect anticheat... i have checked integrity of files multiple times.. wtf is wrong with this game. is this a known issue? is there an alternative fix? ive checked firewalls setings, integrity checks, and cant find anything even redownloaded the battle eye by deleteing the folder, running an intgerity check to get the .exe for the installer back, then running said .exe and reinstalling battleeye
