I created a rule for nmap and did a scan to test if my rule could detect nmap scans. upon my analysis, I found that there's an IP on my network that is not associated with any of my servers. No, Shes calling the Switch that is providing network to the devices in that room an "ethernet cable". They keep kicking the battery backup that the switch is connected too and it shuts off. (its an unmanaged switch)
