this channel is for DnDBeyond help
and i am talking about tolkens for the game
are you asking about the Virtual table Top?
dndbeyond feedback should go in the feedback site, but yes, they dont have anything for buildngs
am i alowed to make them as homebrew?
cuz buildings are supposed to be part of the initial image
well i am building a town and had to make building tokens. wondering if there was a book for creating a town.
Yeah, buildings aren’t typically represented by tokens.
its just part of the map istelf
wow. can i homebrew them then?
you can make your map image then upload it to the VTT
You could create a homebrew monster to add a token with whatever image you want.
But again, buildings and other non-movable parts of the map are typically part of the map image itself.
although you can draw lines in the VTT iirc, right?
And then tokens are used for creatures, vehicles, and other things that can move around on the map.
i just made tokens representing buildings, homes and businesses level 20 retirement town. Bars meeting places town hall repair shops.... a town.
If that’s how you want to do it, have fun.
ok cool thank you
If I buy the 2024 PLayer Handbook, do I get access to all of the new spells (And updated spells from legacy), new class changes, magic items, and new gear?
Does it basically revamp all of the feats and spells and all that stuff I buy the new player handbook?
Cuz we have a bunch of old legacy its and bits
And random homebrew spells that were essentially copies from the actual handbook
Ah ha I found the right channel for this
I just wanted to know if there was a way for the DM to add characters to a campaign from the already made characters in their character collection
Like i just found out that i can use the campaigns to like do maps and stuff so I wanted to add my player's into it but I have all their sheets in my character collection on dnd beyond and cant find a way to add them to the campaign on my end
We've always just made our characters in the campiagn itself, I'm not sure that you can move the characters like you say
by using the invite link, yes
even if im the dm?
yes
Hello, I have a couple of questions about the character builder using 2024 phb. Since during the character creation the builder don't suggest me any origin feat, should I add it manually once completed the creation? Furthermore, I created a 15 Bard with magic initiate druid, but in my spell list I can't see the spells I choose, I can see them only in feature&trait.
thanks, today app was updated, all info is present))
Yep!
If you’re using an older background that doesn’t already include an origin feat, yeah, you can manually add one for now.
Not sure what’s going on with Magic Initiate, though. Can you share a link to your character?
My character sheet (using Legacy rules) does not have the option to make Monk attacks DEX based. They are all rolling off STR only. I believe there should be an option for Unarmed Strike (DEX). How can I force this to appear on my sheet?
so i am using content sharing with tashas sourcebook. but when i use sidekick (i'm trying to add a sidekick for the party) nothing appears.
Can you share a link to your character?
If you’re referring to the Extras tab, that’s for the DOIP sidekicks, not the TCOE ones.
DOIP?
Dragon of Icespire Peak
If you want a TCOE sidekick there, you can build it as a homebrew monster, then add it under “Misc”.
When one of my companions uses his healing kit applying his healer feat to let me gain hp, i have to spend one of my hit dice. In DDB character sheet I see my spent Hit Dices when I click on "short rest". But since I am not resting I cannot click in "confirm" so I can't use that page to check the hit dice boxes. Is there another way to do that?
Not currently, no.
That seems to be working as intended. Unequipping the shield will get it to use your higher DEX.
You gain the following benefits while you are unarmed or wielding only monk weapons and you aren’t wearing armor or wielding a shield:
Oh dear that was so simple! Thank you!
Sure, here it is
I see all three of those in your spell list.
Plus Shield farther down.
Is that not what you see?
You're right, I could have miss'd em while creating the PG, thanks
Has anybody here bought th 2024 player handbook? Does it improve your experience with building cgaracters and campaign info?
I'd recommend asking in https://discord.com/channels/516367331358801950/1252622903669686342.
(This channel is specifically for getting technical help with D&D Beyond.)
can we post screenshots here to show our problem? I'm seeing something weird between two characters in the ability scores page
in short, I have two characters who are 2024 rules, both set to custom backgrounds, but above "Score Calculations" in the ability scores tab one of them has an extra section called "Ability Score Increases" that gives me the opportunity to add a +2 and +1 or a +1,+1,+1. I'm half guessing this is because of the custom background, because there's nowhere to add ASI when you choose custom background in the background tab, but my other character doesn't have it, I just add it manually to the "other modifier" section.
What's weirder is when I use that section to add the bonus, it gets set to "Species Bonus" not "Misc Bonus"
the versatile trait doesn't come with an additional ASI bonus does it?
Can you share links to both those characters?
here's the one with the ability improvement section that shows up. I actually noticed on the character sheet, if you look under "species trait" there's an ability improvement listed there, not sure why https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/132686573
this is the other character, since I didn't have that option, you'll notice my ASI for the background is added in "other modifier" for charisma and constitution https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/132528429
That's very strange. 🤔
I decided to change the background to not be custom, just chose acolyte, and it disappeared... so it does seem like it might be a section made for custom backgrounds... weird thing is I set it back to custom, and now I can't get it to appear again, so now I had to set his ASI in the other modifier section just like my paladin
How do I update my homebrew subclasses and spells to work with the new classes
You’d need to remake the subclass for the new class.
And update the spells to include the new class.
Bascially just go into the spells and click "2024 CLeric"?
How do I make the "Character Background" section of my character sheet update on the pdf download/printable page?
Remaking the subclasses though... so much effort...
No matter what I do its not updating.
The PDF is cached for a short while after you create it. You need to either wait for the cache to expire, clear your cache, or use another browser.
So I am creating a fighter subclass that is the exact same as the fighter subclass samurai and I am getting the message
This homebrew Subclass does not have the
necessary class features with the correct
required levels.
Can someone help me
Those errors only matter if you’re trying to publish it to the global community. If you’re just using it in your own campaigns, you can safely ignore that and use the subclass as-is.
That said, if you do want to publish, you can try hitting the main save button to retrigger the validator. If you do have all the right levels, that should go away.
Otherwise, you’ll need to make sure you’re adding features at all the levels expected for a fighter subclass.
yeah that same thing happened when I made my homebrew warlock subclass for the 2024 warlock
very strange
2024 warlock is 3, 6, 10, 14 right?
I have two at level 3 (spell list, and the actual feature)
And hitting the main save doesn’t make it go away?
nah
oh hm it did this time
it didn't before. strange.
it also got rid of "hmmm this is too close to Circle of Spores Druid to share with the community"
lol
I am leveling up my druid class to lvl 2 and want to choose Circle of the Moon as my circle, but dnd beyond is not allowing it, even tho it has allowed it for me in the past. I purchased the 2024 PHB to gain access to everything, but it is still not allowing me to choose anything other then Circle of the Land. I have checked and all my toggles are turned on. I would prefer not to create a homebrew and just choose Circle of the Moon. Can anyone help me? Please dont tell me i bought this dnd phb for no reason
Guys, I need help, my PHB isn’t sharing to the party, even tho the other books is working
Is there a way to auto filter legacy content instead of having to click it off every time i make a character?
All 2024 classes choose their subclass at level 3.
If you’re being shown a choice at level 2, that sounds like you’re set up with a 2014 Druid, where you won’t see the 2024 subclasses.
Have them check whether their entitlements are in sync. 👇
?tag ddb entitlements
Account Entitlements
Account entitlements are how D&D Beyond identifies which content you can access. These are synced automatically in time, but if you're not seeing content you should have access to, visit Account > Licenses.
The Account Entitlements section at the top should ideally say "Your entitlements data is in sync!" If not, it will show a button to manually trigger the sync, after which your content should be available.
Not at this time
HI, I'm having some drama creating a misfortune bringer rogue from grim hollow. I own it but its not coming up in the drop down
just checked - cant choose carrion crow barb either
or any of the grim hollow sub classes
Yes
It’s in sync
So I live in Canada and ordered the PHB 2024 digital + physical bundle and I haven't recieved my book yet, nor have I received a shipping notice/tracking number. I have submitted a support ticket and haven't received a response.
The status on my Orders page just says Validated.
Wait, if I ordered all of the bundles separately like this (because that was the only option at the time), do I have to wait for all of the books to be out before they ship?
Only the 2024 Players Handbook would be shipping right now. The DMG isn't expected to ship until November.
Oh, I know, but I ordered those all at once, and this was in the email:
So do I have to wait until all three are out to get them?
It would be by product item I believe
So no, not untill all books are released but as each book is released
It says I will get a shipping notice email when the product ships, but I have not received one, so I don't believe they've even sent the PHB yet.
Maybe - they are likely shipping books out in waves for logistic reasons. But to get details for your specific order, do check with Customer Service as they would be able to look things up and confirm where things are in the process.
Figured it out - have to use 2014 rogue. Which hadn’t been turning up for some unknown reason at the time on the class screen. All fixed now
Yeah, for now, those third party subclasses are available only on the 2014 classes. (They should be coming to the 2024 ones in time.)
I am in Canada as well. My physical PHB arrived last week but it had customs slapped on it. Something is up with mail customs lately from the US. Another package of mine is currently being held at customs for 2 weeks already. That's possibly what happened to your book. Also, I never got a tracking email. It totally showed up out of the blue.
Hey, thanks for the info, I really appreciate it! Out of curiosity, did you order multiple bundles at once or just the PHB one?
I ordered all 3 books at once with digital bundled. So PHB, MM, and DMG all in one order.
Okay, that's what I did. You're probably right about customs! Thanks again!
You're also right to wonder why it hasn't arrived yet. Reaching out to customer support won't hurt.
I did a few days ago and I'm awaiting a response. 😶
Three questions:
Are there plans to implement legacy invocations for warlocks? I'm talking specifically about the "Gift of the Ever-living Ones" from Tasha's.
Also, it appears as if the Lessons of the First Ones doesn't allow one to actually pick an origin feat - I had to manually add it.
Finally - and this is one I'm very concerned about - it appears that the first time I downloaded my character as a PDF, it was cached, and each time I make a change to it, and download it again, the initial PDF version is returned. Is this intentional?
- I haven't seen an official statement either way.
- That's a known issue.
- That's working as expected. If you don't want to wait for the cache to expire, you can clear your cache or try opening it in another browser.
@fluid ferry Can you explain how/where you see the Optional Class Features on a class's page on the DDB App?
i dont have permission to use looking for dm, how do i get the correct permissions?
Thank you. re:3, do you know how long the cache timeout is?
OH! This is the 2024 Ranger, which means it uses "expertise" because it is now a defined keyword in the rules. We were discussing the 2014 ranger
See #find-a-game for instructions.
I think it's like 20 minutes? I'm not exactly sure.
Does the rage toggle work for anyone in the web app character sheet? When I first made a barbarian weeks ago I had the option to toggle it on/off, but that option disappeared after a few hours, and it's never shown back up on the character sheet. The dropdown is missing.
So, now the "Manage Feats" doesn't allow me to access all feats. How am I supposed to add the homebrew feats to my character that give them the new traits that they should have... if the builder were working properly?
Have you tried turning off feat prerequisites and enabling homebrew for your character?
It works for me.
For character building, I'm noticing that when cleric and paladins choose their spells, it says "learn". Is a mistake?
Oh, you're so right. I had forgotten that I turned off homebrew for another reason. Thanks, and sorry for the rant.
How many players can join a campaign on DND Beyond? I'm going to get the Master subscription.
I'm not 100% sure but I think a single DnDBeyond campaign can have 12 active characters in it.
I see...
Wait, that would still work for a drop in drop out campaign
I could stuff most of them into the deactivated area
So long as there's no player limit
I'm trying to learn to run a game on Beyond with Maps, and some of the very basics are eluding me. All the videos I've found don't address these so they are probably things that are so obvious to most people that they don't think to mention them. (Background: I usually run on Fantasy Grounds, where I'm fairly competent).
I've figured out how to Create a Campaign, Launch Maps, do whatever I want with Maps, Create an Encounter, and Start Encounter. What I can't do is integrate these things.
So, I have my creatures in an encounter, and I've put matching tokens on the map. But when I'm in the Initiative and HP tracker window, how do I access my NPC stat blocks to roll attacks and things? I don't see any way to move from that window to my campaign window and clicking on the creature in the combat tracker does nothing. Should I just keep three tabs open, each with an instance of Beyond - one with Maps, one with the Encounter and one with my monster stats?
Also, how do I implement effects as they happen? I can use the initiative tracker to record hit point damage, but how do I turn on Rage, or Mage Armor, or anything else that changes die roll targets or modifiers? Do we just keep all that on paper offline?
Is there a REALLY BASIC video that shows game prep and game running from a GM's point of view?
folks - simple question - In DDB, is there a way to reorder items of equipment on a character sheet? (e.g. if I have a preferred order for general equipment, like weapons first; or a preferred order of items in a backpack?)
I believe it automatically does it in alphabetical order but you may be able to customize the names of the equipment with number so that they are in the order you want.
Like:
02. Longbow
03. Plate Mail
Etc.```
Anyone else having trouble editing the Backstory, Option, Monster, fields nothing I type goes into the field. Trying another character now.
Nope not working on any of my characters
Same, it seems to only take one letter, tried different browsers etc
Thanks hope they can fix it I use the heck out of those fields
Inventory is Jacked up too type in Bracers of Archery and it finds nothin
Same here. Only a few characters appear in a field as I type, and backspace only moves about one in five times I hit it.
So, one of my players is saying that they can't access the 2024 PHB, even though its being content shared with them. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?
might wanna check entitlements, thats what heppened with a player of mine
how do I do that?
profile, account, check entitlements
So suddenly my players aren't seeing class features in their Feats section that they used to have, is this a consequence of the new stuff?
The Stat blocks for most NPCs are available as monsters. It kind of sucks because it throws off the challenge rating. If you have homebrew NPCs you have to add them as a monster in Homebrew.
So to include a monster in my adventure I must first make an Encounter with them in it?
Once combat is started you should be able to click on the monster in the encounter turn order and their stat block should show
(yah I was using NPC in the generic sense to include monsters as well as humanoid characters)
hmm that wasn't happening for me but maybe I hadn't s"started" the encounter. Or maybe since I was testing solo to figure it all out, it didn't see a combat since i owned both the PC and the monster
The tokens aren’t linked to the encounters, so you have to add all the monsters/npc’s to the map
Yeah, you have to start the encounter to be able to roll from the stat block
I had an initiative track with the participants in it, showing their hit points. And none of them - PC or monster - were clickable/ "live". So there's another step to "start"?
It’s really disconnected right now, but my hope is they will add the character sheet to the tokens in the map,
Having to pre-create encounters means I have to have a pretty good idea of what my players might do. This is an optimistic view of players.
If you’re using a canned campaign it’s not terrible. I built out all of the random encounters that result in combat and can modify them on the fly pretty quickly. Anything else is pretty quick to set up at this point
Since what I'll be running is "learn to play" one shots, maybe a canned game is the way to go. I usually don't.
Thanks for your help! I'll see if ti makes more sense with a preloaded adventure.
I put in a ticket regarding the notes section of the sheet only taking one character of input. I did find if you are not in the character sheet, but in the builder- you can edit notes there.
Is it possible to change the portrait of a monster/NPC in beyond maps?
Like, can I give that knight a picture?
While in the encounter page, you can click on the monster/NPC statblocks in the inittive order list and click to roll dice and attacks and stuff
SO no need for a third page for monster statblocks
I... don't think DND beyond is advanced enough to add the status effects and states yet
FOundry has a bunch of status effect icons like invisible, rage, unconciouness, paralyzed, etc
I think for stuff like that you have to keep track of it yourself
Or if your players are in rage, have them remember that
If a player forgets that they're in rage, that's on them
I mean try to remember that you deal less damage while a player is in rage but it IS their responsbility to remember their status
God if I could just click a character and have the stat sheet on the right side... I'd be so happy. As it is now we all run multiple tabs to keep the cvharacter sheet and map up
Preaching to the choir. Lol. I gotta believe they know these things are wanted
It sounds like moving from Fantasy Grounds to this will require some adjustment of expectations. This is more like Owlbear Rodeo than like FG. But for teaching the game to people who may be playing with pen and paper in person, it might actually be better, and that's what this event is for.
Mumble…. I guess that’s the answer. related question - how does one submit suggestions for DDB improvement?
Is there any way to get help with orders other than the support portal? My PHB (as well as a few others in my gaming group) was cancelled for no explicable reason, I opened tickets 14 days ago and have yet to get a response. I am at a loss for how I can get help with how and why it was cancelled??
Tickets are dealt with in the order they are received, and with so many people having issues with the new book, there is a backlog of tickets rn.
#server-announcements message
I would read that
While I understand a backlog of tickets. However, neither of the things mentioned in the server-announcements posts happened to me. I received nothing from the team except an email saying my book was cancelled?
hey if i found a character on ddb but its readonly character sheet how do i download it and interact with it?
You don’t. The owner would have to transfer the character to you or you’d have to be the DM in that character’s campaign.
is there a way i could copy it?
Not to my knowledge, nope.
The character would first have to be transferred to you for you to have duplication privileges.
not sure where else to even ask this, but have we ever heard anything else about the griffon's saddlebag book for dndbeyond ?
I wanna say that it's been almost 2 months since they announced it, and aside from seeing it's name in some screenshots for the one dnd character sheet showcases, I believe nothing else has come up ? so far they've announced 3rd party book releases way closer to the actual release date so I was just wondering ?
(apologies if this isn't the right channel, I tried looking through them to find the best one 😖 )
It's definitely still coming, but I'd assume it's delayed from the original (vague) September release.
Given that we've already passed the last Tuesday in September.
Usually they just announce those once it's actually been released, though.
My Conquest Paladin (2024e) isn't showing his Oath Spells. Is there a clever workaround that will let me add the spells without taking away from the spells known limit?
You can. Go to homebrew, create a monster - there you take the Knight as existing template. In this homebrew monster which is now called "Copy_of_Knight", you assign a picture of your choice (square pictures work best in maps). Call this Monster Knight * or something like that and you can add it with your chosen picture in maps.
Could someone tell me how to buy a sourcebook that is currently being shared witrh me. (Mobile)
It isnt a PDF.
The address is for tax purposes
Ah well thank you !! Just glad I didn't miss any news then !
I seem to not have the full background list?
You said the book is shared with you? Shared character options are available only inside the campaign that's sharing them.
I just bought the book myself
Ah. You might want to check if your entitlements are in sync, then.
?tag ddb entitlements

It seems it is not in the list?
What list?
You'd only need a key if you purchased it as a gift or purchased it from dndstore.wizards.com (instead of directly on D&D Beyond).
oh well, as long as it still gives me the stuff I'm good, brb lemme check
If you did purchase it as a gift, you'd be able to find the code here:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/my-gifts
Fixed, thank you, I must have accidentally clicked a gift check box or something
When I set restrictions to try a new character in D&D Beyond using only 2024 Free Rules to test out things before making the 2024 PHB jump, I cannot add any gear and have to revert to my 2014 PHB to add gear. Yet gear and tools are listed within the 2024 Free Rules. (https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/free-rules/equipment#AdventuringGear)
do i need to buy the books again if i want to use them online
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOWsmk76_5k if i wanted to make this build manually into ddb how do i do that? im very new to this game and im making a characters with my friends and idk where to add these

What have you got so far? Where are you stuck?
its kinda embarrasing to say but im stuck on the beginning
Which is what exactly?
I need more information here. Help me help you.
Are you just trying to figure out which options you should pick? Are you looking for specific options that you can't find? What about this image has you stuck?
like the skills and feat said in vid i didnt understand
I'm having this issue too. The good news is I can at least edit the backstory without issue in the character creator (ie, click the anvil)
I haven't watched the video (and respectfully, I'm not going to).
no problem
What did it say about skills and feats? What are you actually trying to do?
The more accurately you can explain the situation, the better we can help you.
There's a link under the video to the character sheet, you should be able to see on there what they selected.
https://ddb.ac/characters/30044637/H4f2p2
E.g. they've taken common and orc as languages, and Great Weapon Master as their Variant Human feat. For skills they have Acrobatics, Athletics, Intimidation, Perception, Persuasion and Survival. You won't be able to pick them all on that screen though, some will come from your class/background/level up.
Also be aware that the video is using the "Legacy" classes (as its 4 years old). You'll need to turn on the legacy toggle on the first page and select the correct version of the class (if you haven't already).
as for language i can pick only one and for skills I can only pick 1 skill but for intimidation and athletics they come with soldier default and for weapon equipment i can only pick greataxe and chainarmor i dont see great axe of wounding
btw the battlemaster option is not avaliable for some reason?
I forgot that you get Common for free, so only need to choose Orc for language.
Skills you'll get to pick more from your class choices. Looks like they start with a Fighter, which gives two more options, you get the two from the Soldier background, and I'd guess the other is from one of the higher levels/other classes (probably Survival from one of the Ranger levels).
Axe of Wounding you have to add after character creation from the Inventory screen. For now just pick the Chainmail & Greataxe, plus your choice of the other starting equipment.
Have you definitely selected the "legacy"/2014 Variant Human and the "legacy"/2014 Fighter? Looks like you're using the 2024 versions which are slightly different.
yes i have the lagacy enabled
the sentinal feat isnt avaliable also
Do you have the relevant subclasses/feats etc unlocked on your account, either from buying the old players handbook or from buying them individually in the old marketplace? It's only showing the Champion subclass and Grappler feat under legacy in your screenshots, which suggests you only have the free rules, in which case you won't have all the options you need.
sad
Indeed. It used to be that you could buy the individual features for a couple of $ each, so could make something like this pretty cheaply. You have to buy complete books now though, and I've just noticed it uses stuff from Xanathars Guide to Everything as well, so you'd have to pay $60 for both books just to create this one character. Otherwise you'll have to find someone who's subscribed, has those books, and is willing to share their content with you.
Trying to make a new druid on dndbeyond - only have access to circle of the land, the 4 from xanathars/tashas. Any ideas?
So I have a home brew item I want to make that has charges, and is a wondrous item preferably.
The description is
As a Bonus Action: Has 5 charges, every charge you can discharge a small wisp of energy towards an enemy to deal 1d8 lightning damage in a 5 feet radius. Has 45 feet of range.
As a full action: You throw the Crystal and uses all its charges, the Crystal violently discharges energy and deal 5d6 lightning damage in a 10 feet radius. Has 45 feet of range.
The Crystal recharges every long rest back to full charge.
Info: Hextech Crystals are magical crystals. They were first made by harvesting the magic of the sleeping Brakerns, basically just magical crystal scorpions that protect Shurima.
The Crystals are the pride of Piltover, and now can be produced without harvesting the souls of the Brackern, therefore, making it cheaper and easier to produce.
Is there anyway to make this? So far, I’ve only been able to make it into an weapon and have to add the attacks manually
Cleric spells on app, are broken
are invokations fixed yet?
i’m unable to replicate this issue
Cleared apps cache, created new cleric issue still persists
Let me try on my android device.
Nope still unable to replicate, but I'll pass it along anyway.
Cheers
so i cant add any of the partnered content to my character sheet even though its enabled on the character
Thanks. I tried that and it worked for me. At least there is a work around. I wonder why it just started yesterday, and why only a few of us seem to have this problem.
As a DM, how do I share my digital content with player's?
its not available for 2024 characters
have a master sub, create a campaign with content sharing enabled
yes I have a master acct. thanks.
Yet
its a 2014 character using 2014 classes
At the top of your campaign page, there should be a button that says “Enable Content Sharing”.
What specific content are you trying to add?
stuff from ebon tides
the douse light cantrip using the 2014 magic initiate - wizard
I do see it on mine, so I don’t think it’s a technical issue…
Did you buy the book yourself, or is it being shared with you?
its shared content
Is your character assigned to the campaign that’s sharing it?
yes
Account Entitlements
Account entitlements are how D&D Beyond identifies which content you can access. These are synced automatically in time, but if you're not seeing content you should have access to, visit Account > Licenses.

says its in sync
And just to clarify: you don’t see any options from that book?
Not spells, species, subclasses, anything?
i dont see any options but the core rules, expanded rules, and legacy 2014 stuff + homebrew
Who in this campaign has purchased that book?
the dm
Actually, it looks to me as though your character already has that spell.
Is that not what you see?
Though even in that case, I’d expect it to show in Magic Initiate…
damm i see i have it now but im still not able to see any of the partnered content as options available
Yeah, I’m honestly not sure at this point.
I’d suggest asking your DM to confirm they have the book listed here under Current Product Licenses:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/licenses
And check that whoever enabled Content Sharing still has an active subscription.
i will double check, thanks for the help
If that still comes up empty, you may need to contact customer support to have them check under the hood.
Hi all. I've got the new PH on DnD Beyond (purchased) and have started creating characters using the 2024 rules. Unfortunately, all of my pre-existing Homebrew (subclasses and spells in particular) are not showing up as options when I try to create a character. They show up on my old (pre 2024 update) characters, but not anything I create now. I've made sure to activate 2014 content in character creation, and am a loss for what is causing it. Anyone encountered this issue and/or found a solution?
If it was a homebrew subclass or spell for a 2014 class, it won't be available for a 2024 class (and vice versa). They're functionally separate classes in the system. In order to use the older homebrew, it would need to be updated or remade for the new 2024 version.
That was it. Thank You!
uhhh has anyone else ever noticed that the dark mode on dnd beyond turns the text black too on notes?? is there a fix?
can't roll dice on the site using google chrome. haven't been able to for at least 3 days. can get around it using Opera GX, but chrome is definitely my preferred browser. this is the longest me not being able to roll has persisted.
Is Chrome configured to use hardware acceleration? If that’s toggled off it could impact/prohibit dice rolling.
I noticed this as well - my workaround is to highlight the text so I can read it…
it was on. I toggled it off and back on again, but still no luck.
i saw somewhere someone with the same issue had to clear out cookies/cache as the browser was holding onto bad links to dice images/textures.
The character editor is constantly flashing between black and white and this background. I have no idea why. I've turned off all extensions on DDB and it's still so weird
Am i the only one or can you now for some reason not access tiefling subraces from mordekainens?
the option for it is fully gone
Can I get a character id for a character that is facing this issue? This would help the team identify the issue.
A link to the character should be enough.
I need a character URL, not a PDF
You may need to open it in a browser to get the link. I don't see a way to get it from the app.
I'll send it later
hey guys i have a question about the dndbeyond website. i've got 2 accounts for some reason and have all my sourcebooks on 1. it's not convenient for me to log onto this account anymore and was wondering if there was a way to transfer the books to the other account? the issue im having is that it's an acc using apple login details and for some reason i dont have the option to use apple credentials on the ddb mobile app on android??
The easier solution would be to just add an additional login method to your existing account.
https://www.dndbeyond.com/account
Otherwise, you'd have to talk to Customer Support about combining the accounts.

i actually just found that option just now. unlinked my apple and linked in a diferent account and it seems to work perfectly now thanks
as a DM hosting on a campaign on the website do my players get access to my sourcebooks as well or do I have to have a master sub?
Someone in the group would need a Master Tier subscription. It doesn't necessarily have to be you (though it certainly can be).
But then they can activate Content Sharing for that campaign, and everyone's books will get shared with everyone else.
understood, thanks
Hi! One of my players is having issues with adding a Humblewood Race for their character creation.
-I do have the book
-She did accept the campaign link
-sharing content is on in the campaign
-she does have humblewood on
-she does have 2014 legacy on.
-her app is updated
- same issue on both app and browser
Is this character assigned to that campaign?
Can you have her check if her entitlements are in sync?
Just a quick question, if you're in the character editor, and you go to another page, nothing bad will happen to the sheet you were editing, correct?
Correct. It's very hard to lose progress in a character creation.
It looks like her character is assigned to the campaign
I have an issue where the character pdfs are competly blanks, or at least show up completely blank
not really sure where to send this but is there an update on 2024 phb shipments? I live in Canada and bought the physical + digital bundle and have not heard anything about it being shipped and its been over a week since release
She says entitlements are in sync
most recent bug fixes?
Should be, she doesn't see anything and everything is updated
I checked my entitlements and they're synced.
I turned off and on sharing content.
Yup
Works now
Turned off and on sharing content
Went to my contents and tapped/clicked on share all for both adventures and sourcebooks
https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/30066910
I noticed that, under Features and Traits, "Red Dragon" is in bold text. I was just wondering if that was how it's supposed to be appearance wise
Things like "Draconic Bloodline" under sorcerous origin and "Intimidation" and "Persuasion" under proficiencies in the same tab are not in bold
hey yall im homebrewing a bunch of new species but im new to adding them in dnd beyond and have some questions, is this the best place to ask on discord or is there a better channel to ask questions
Yep! Ask away!
Awesome! I want a subclss to learn one additional cantrip from the Divination or Enchantment schools as a granted trait... what settings would i use
Once you add a class feature, you should see a Spells section inside.
If you add a Spell there and set the spell level and schools, it will then prompt them to choose from those spells.
ok perfect... if i wanted to increase drakvision to 120 feet, I would just make this a new spell right?
No. Alongside Spells, you should see a section for Modifiers.
You'd probably want to add one with:
- Type: Sense
- Subtype: Darkvision
- Fixed Value: 120
Perfect, thank you for your help, im sure ill have more questions later lol
@uneven lantern I apologize for the ping. If you could let me know I’d appreciate it!
Yes, that's intentional.
Thank you!
2 issues. Recently bought the players handbook 2014 edition and the data is sync'd. still not showing content. Example, paladin only has 2 subclasses: devout and oathbreaker.
I bought tash's book a while back and magic items not apprearing. Example, amulet of the devout is not showing up.
What do i do
I doubt this is going to get me anywhere, but I am missing my DDB copy of the new PHB. I preordered through Wizards (I'm Canadian, so I had no choice). Physical copy showed up, no digital. Sent in a request ticket 23 days ago, and haven't had a response whatsoever. I've synced my entitlements, but it's not there at all. It's like my order never even got taken to DDB from Wizards. I'm extremely frustrated by Wizards' poor customer service.
you would have gotten a code through email to redeem if you bought through wizards
I didn't receive an email, other than the one for the preorder bonuses.
you didnt get a confirmation for the order at all?
I found it. It was in the original order confirmation, way down at the bottom, after following a very subtle link. My bad. Thanks for the help.
Do you have Legacy enabled for that character?

@uneven lantern i have tried both. Legacy on and off and like I said before my entitlements say they are synced
but yes legacy is on
amazon sells keys now too
I have also cleared my cache and relogged
Does it show the PHB here under Current Product Licenses?
https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/licenses
yes it does @uneven lantern
Ah! It’s because you’re using the 2024 Paladin class.
Good sir, how would I change that?
You’d need to remove the existing class and then add the 2014 one instead.
You should see it further down the list under Legacy when choosing your class.
Nvm! I got it. Thanks spam. I need to learn the difference between the 2014 and 24. Im not use to all this new stuff. Thank you!
And then for the Tasha’s items, you’ll need to also enable Expanded Rules for that character.
understood looking into itn ow
showing up. thank you! youve been a very fine dish indeed with your insights. A natural 20
did they ever add back the ability to filter out marketplace items you already own
I'm trying to look at this fall sale but have no idea which of these books I already own
https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/132828624
Spell lists appear normally on the website, seems to be only on the app its bugged
Thanks! I'll pass this to the team. They can probably check it from the mobile side
Hey all I'm so sorry if this has been asked a thousand times, but I just bought a subscription to DND Beyond, and after creating characters for everyone in my party the characters aren't showing up in the campaign I created. Does anyone have a solution?
I have done the following:
- cleared cache.
- made characters public
- made copies of characters
- joined the campaign from my significant others account, still saw no characters.
- leveled up characters and brought them back down and refreshed.
I'm lost now. Any insight would be super helpful. Thanks.
What I did notice is that if I create a character from the campaign menu, then the characters show up.
I believe you need to add them via the invite link then unassign them.
Yeah, add them using the invite link, then unassign them on the campaign and send your players the same link.
I submitted a support ticket on the 23rd and am yet to hear anything back about it. Is this a normal time to be waiting for a response or should I submit a second support ticket about it 😅
Its in regards to a purchased 2024 PHB delivery (or lack thereof)
Please do not resend your support ticket. The Customer Support Team works on them in the order they receive them and making another one would push you down the line even further. Please have patience as they have a larger then usual load at the moment to deal with.
Thx. Any clue on what the expected response time for support tickets is like at the moment?
That is beyond my knowledge I'm afraid. I just know that the amount of work they have to deal with is pretty large and I feel bad for them ^^' I hope they can help you soon!
yeah totally understandable, appreciated
Second ticket would put you further back in line. Don't shoot yourself in the foot like that
How long is the sale?
I haven't actually seen an end date specified anywhere. 🤔
i would say fall
it is autumn. we've passed the equinox
not sure when WotC's quarter change happens though
I've got money coming in. just planning how to spend it lol
So I want to get the book that gives me the winged variant tiefling, which one is it ? Sword Coast Adventurer's guide / The Adventurer's Guide
Yeah, SCAG
The DDB app:
Ahh ok ty it worked
I'm having some trouble with notes in the character sheets, it's really glitchy and doesn't work. My players have tried to change it and so have I, but it won't work.
Is there a list to show the old module numbers of the six adventures in Infinite Staircase?
Each chapter has an "About the original" sidebar with the original cover and a short description.
The cover for The Lost City says "Dungeon Module B4", for example.
https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/qftis/the-lost-city#SettingtheAdventure
Okay, cool. As I've gotten older, my memory has gotten worse, so I was hoping there would be something in there to refresh my memory. Thank you!
Heya, how do I use my pact weapon through ddb sheets for 2024
Yo so quick question, I'm on DDB website making a character for a campaign and I want to be a way of mercy monk but even though I bought Tasha's the subclass isn't showing up astral self is but not Mercy any ideas how to get it to show up?
I’ve had the same problem recently. To amend my notes I have to do it in the character editor.
Do you have the expanded rules turned on?
If you're using the 2024 Monk, you'll need to use the 2024 version of that subclass found in the 2024 PHB.
If you want to use the old version from TCOE, you'll need to use the old class from the 2014 PHB.
How do i swich between the 2 if I may ask?
Remove the 2024 one and add the 2014 one instead.
And how do I remove that? I looked it up and it said you can't disable it right now?
Click on the weapon you want to use, then look for the Pact Weapon checkbox in the sidebar.
Right next to your level is a big red ❌. Clicking that will remove the class.
Okay I deleted it but I don't see any option to chise which version?
All the classes under "Core Rules" are the 2024 versions.
The 2014 versions are under "Legacy" further down the list.
OHHH there it is!!
Super, thanks!
How do you do a legacy class in D&D Beyond ie. 1st level cleric with a subclass
The legacy class are under the 2024 core classes. You have to have the legacy check box ticked on the first page of the creator for them to show
I turn them all on that only helps with spells and other things not classes
I already have all the other legacy stuff working just not classes. Is like they didn't include those
You arent scrolling down far enough on the pick a class page if you dont see the Legacy versions of the classes
I'll look again ty
You are awesome.
When I contacted tech support they sent me this and that's it
And didn't explain much else
So ty for your help
Can you homebrew ammunition somehow?
I don't believe that's possible (homebrew mundane ammunition). You can take existing ammunition and make a homebrew copy I believe.
Hi im having an issue where i do not have access to my sourcebooks, even though i purchased the sourcebook bundle back in 2021
What happens when you try to access them?
i figured it out lol
So, I have a character in one campaign. However, I’d like to be able to use the same character in another campaign. Anyone know how to do that or would I need to recreate the character sheet in the new campaign to be identical?
A character can only be assigned to one campaign.
You can either remove it from the existing campaign and then add it to the new one.
Or go to My Characters and make a copy of them.
I’ve made the copy.
So I'm trying to link my D&D Beyond account to my discord and it says my discord needs to be verified? Problem is, it's been verified for 4 years, idk what the actual issue is
I removed and reapplied my verification, did nothing
so typing in the other field is still not working is there any chance a fix is coming ?
It's causing problems with custome thing and story line stuff in my game
Yeah, nobody else in the campaign I'm in is having this issue. No idea if a fix is coming, every post I've seen about it never got a response
sad it is a really imoortant thing to have on a character sheet
Just did a copy and paste from a word document and despite not showing it did enter it in other when I hit enter
Where is it showing this message?
That’s a known issue. In the meantime, you should be able to edit it in the Background section of the character builder.
thanks just have to hit copy paste a few times and then delete the extras very annoying but better than nothing
Even if you do it through the character builder instead?
Can we not have ASI increases for custom origins?
nvm found it
Hey are agonizing blast, repelling blast, and the other invokations fixed yet?
Are you still experiencing the same issues on your character sheet?
i can't seem to add some homebrew items since the update to 2024. is this a common bug?
I haven’t heard of anyone else having issues there.
Do you have Homebrew Content enabled for that character?
Are the items still in your My Homebrew Collection? (Not just in My Homebrew Creations?)
Is their any (5e) races that self heal or gain healing while standing or being in water?
You can ask in #character-discussion if you’re looking for help finding character options.
(This channel is for getting help with D&D Beyond.)
It's looking like racial feats aren't locked out based on character species anymore. (On my elf character I can see every other racial feat in the feat selector). Is this something to do with the 2024 system?
That’s a known issue.
Ahh, gotcha.
I just went to make an aberration wizard, and I definitely bought the book with this subclass, but it's not there in the drop-down subclass menu. Apparently it's been moved to the 2024 players handbook, along with a whole bunch of others, so now half my character options are softlocked behind a $30 dollar purchase.
Aberration wizard?
If you meant abjuration, the new PHB contains both a new wizard class and a new Abjurer subclass.
But you can continue to use the 2014 School of Abjuration with the 2014 wizard class.
I am having some issues with character creation in dndbeyond. I'm a first-time DM this time around and got the subscription for dndbeyond. I have the 2024 players handbook and some expanded rules that include backgrounds like Investigator and Rewarded. If I, as the dm, go and make a character I have all the backgrounds available to choose from. My boyfriend who I sent the link to our campaign to goes to make a character but only sees the core rules backgrounds...but only the free ones. Nothing from the books I bought. I'm sharing content with my players but have some turned off to avoid spoilers for our upcoming session. Do I have to have all sourcebooks shared for the background options to work?
Is that character assigned to your campaign?

Yeah, it is. We have another separate campaign where he has all options available. This one doesn't for some reason though. It's something wrong with my new campaign I made for some reason. I just don't know what it is that is wrong with it.
The one that works for him is one that is a pre-made campaign but the one that doesn't work for him is one I made on my own.
I'm very new to this all.
Have you made sure content sharing's enabled?
Yeah it all is. Also have the one grung above and that race isn't showing up for anybody either. 😦
Okay wait we good nvm
How do I add tokens to DnDBeyond Maps?
The only way I see to do it is to make player characters and add them to the camapaign
I own like every sourcebook digitally so I should have quite a few... But don't know how to find or add them.
Homebrew a Monster, for example choose knight as template. Name it „Knight *“ or something, change the pictures and then search for your „Knight *“ to get the monster with an individual token.
And ofc use the search bar in the monster tab in the first place.
The search bar just brings up a load of stuff I can't use despite owning the sourcebook they are from...
How can I make a homebrew class on ddb?

Lost Laboratory of Kwalish content does not appear on 2024 Character sheets when you use a 2024 class, is there a way to circumvent this?
Do you have Legacy enabled for that character?
All those charity releases are under the Legacy toggle.
Yes I do
Can you give a specific example of something from the book you’re unable to add?
Flock of Familiars
@uneven lantern
Galders tower and the other galders spell iirc as well
Thanks. Looks like those spells are only tagged for the old classes. I’ll pass it on the devs for a look.
Thanks!
In the meantime, you could make a homebrew copy of those spells and add it for the new classes.
Thats what i did for now
looks like sorcerous burst's damage is only scaling on the acid damage.
That goes for Chromatic Orb and spells like it. Technical limitation, I think.
So sorry if this has already been mentioned a while ago, but are there plans to add the filter back on the marketplace page to exclude books and content to buy that you already own? I really want to make sure I have all of the books but it’s really tedious to go look at each one to see if it has the “you already own this” label.
That cool it would be a pain to own it twice
And it would help to know what books you own
That’s a known issue at the moment. For now, you should be able to edit it in the Background tab of the character builder.
So my friend bought mythic odyssey of theros as a gift for me. When you order digital books do you get them sent to you instantly? He used private relay when buying the book and he's gotten nothing yet even though he just purchased the book

Can you sell them all to a book store
The D&D books are definitely sold in bookstores, but you’d have to contact your local store for availability.

Hello! I preordered the 2024 PHB, DMG and MM digital and physical versions back in June on the UK D&D Store. All preordered separately (no option to purchase as a bundle in the UK). I’ve still not received a notification that my PHB has been dispatched and we’re almost two weeks past the release date now. Anyone else had the same problem? The website makes it very difficult to raise a support ticket, so if anyone has a link for that, I’d be grateful, please.
Hi,
It seems that the 'Notes' section of the ddb character sheet is not working correctly. I can enter no more than a single character and can't edit whatever is already there.
I didn't write a new ticket, but added more info to my original ticket with a second message in the same ticket thread. Does this shove me down the line as well?
When creating a character, I enabled legacy content and selected all legacy things, from class to background, but when choosing starting weapons, I only see 2024 version weapons. Is there any way to select legacy weapons?
Hello.
I've used Maps through a projector for my party of PCs, and I want to say it's so damn good and convenient!
Now, question: could PCs access Maps through the app and move their token from there? Or would it work only in browser version?
No, that should not knock you down the line as it’s still your original ticket.
At this time they can only access it via browser.

That's a known issue at the moment. In the meantime, you can edit that in the character builder under Background.
As with Spells, we’ve created brand new entities for each of the 2024 equipment - with the exception of armor and weapons (especially as our system relies on the existing weapons and armor for Magic Items). All of the 2014 versions of equipment that have been updated in the 2024 Player's Handbook now have the Legacy tag.

The weapons are largely identical except for the addition of mastery properties, but a character needs mastery with the weapon to use that property.
If you need, though, you can add a custom action to your character to match the 2014 version.
Prices on the website are displayed in USD only. Prices in the app will reflect your local currency.
Monsters of the Multiverse contains the updated versions of the things in Volo's.
Is this the correct forum for asking what the expected roadmap for DnDBeyond and backwards compatibility is?
Specifically, I'd like to know when the Warlock Invocations from Tashas and Xanathars will be implemented for a 2024 warlock.

Is it confirmed that you can't use the codes for previous a la cart purchases along with a dndbeyond sale? Because over the weekend I tried purchasing some books during the fall sale, and of course having previous bought sections of the books via the a la cart system I wanted to use my codes to get the correct pricing I should be paying, but none of the codes work. Now today as the sale is over, my codes magically work. So does that mean during dndbeyond sales I have to choose between repurchasing the entire content again, despite the fact that I may have already purchased 80% of the book? Or use my codes and don't get to participate in sales?
I don't know what you're talking about when you say "my codes" but most companies don't let you double-discount things so it's likely that you wouldn't be able to use multiple promos.
The promo codes are what they provide you if you previously made a la cart purchases on the books.
And it’s not exactly a “double-discount” when you previously purchased sections of the product, it’s getting the rightful discounted price.
You're already getting the discount for having made the previous purchase. And additional discount would be a double discount.
I didn't realize they gave codes for that, the marketplace used to do it automatically.
If you bought parts of books from the old store you're entitled to have the value of them deducted from the price of the full book if you purchase it (so that whether you buy as a whole or in pieces you should never pay more than the full book price). This also applies during sales, although I can't remember if you deduct from the full price then apply the sales % discount, or deduct from the reduced sales price. I believe the latter, as I "completed" a couple of rulebooks very cheaply in one sale as I'd already bought most of the options piecemeal.
Unfortunately while DDB have confirmed that these discounts still apply, the new marketplace doesn't directly support them, so you have to contact support for a discount code. There's been no mention of them no longer being valid during sales, so this seems to be (another) bug. Unfortunately when the sales are only a week or two long, and support (according to the forums) often takes 2-4 weeks to respond the result is that people won't be able to get the discounts they're entitled too.
Assuming of course that this isn't a one-off, but there's been so many other issues I wouldn't be surprised.
But it's just like me having a Legendary Bundle discount. I can't get that discount on top of a sale price.
I'm now sure if you've ever made any a la cart purchases when the system was in place, but yes actually you were able to get both the sale price and the discounted price based on how much you previously purchased from the book(s). Because they acknowledged the fact that if you purchased a section of the book and if a sale was taking place, then you shouldn't be prevented from participating in the sale. Nor should you have to repurchase the entire book or sections of the book again just to be able to use the sale price.
Now when the marketplace was updated in April-May and they removed the a la cart system, and you now have to contact support for a "discount code" to get the correct pricing for previous purchases, it was never stated or mentioned that you can not use a promo code from the a la carts during a sale. Which is simply what I'm trying to get confirmed to avoid future disappointment.
I believe the bundle discounts are treated differently as they're a) a percentage discount rather than a fixed price and b) they apply to every book released now and in the future (more or less). That's why they don't stack with other sales. Ignore, incorrect info.
None of the text entry boxes on the character sheet are working correctly. Text does not enter properly - only a few characters appear and the cursor jumps to the end of the text box. This includes all the tabs in Notes, the Appearance box under Background, and the Other Possessions tab in Inventory among others. There are lots of threads in the bugs forum but no response from DDB regarding the issue. Any ETA on when it will be fixed? I realize there are lots of issues with the character creator at the moment but for many folks the notes features are an essential element for using characters on DDB.

Is there a way to homebrew a monster companion that's tied to your PB?
Ignore my last post, I misunderstood the post I was reading (it was talking about it not stacking with the 2024 bundles).
According to the posts by LaTiaJacquise & Davyd on page three of this thread , the old bundle discounts should stack with sales of individual digital books (although possibly 1st party only), unless stated otherwise (and LaTia is not aware of any past or future sales where it would not apply).
However from the rest of the thread it also appears that the discount isn't working for some reason, and support don't reply fast enough to deal with it before the sales over.
Yeah, I responded to them immediately when I received the promo codes, but unfortunately it was already late on Friday when they even emailed me. I was hoping for an update today, but also I didn't realize that the sale ended today
Hello, I want D&D beyond to show me spells from only partnered content. As can be seen here, I have set partnered content to 'Yes', however, there are still spells like 'absorb elements', which are baseline D&D (it seems to be a mix between partnered content and baseline spells). Is there a way to show exclusively partnered content?
I'm afraid not
You could try searching by Source Category as well.
That works much better. Thank you!
2014 monk's aren't getting the correct damage die - DnDBeyond reports it should be (for example on a lv 4 Monk) a D4, but rolls a D6 (which is the 2024 monk damage die)
That's a known issue.
Martial Arts. We don't have a method of disambiguating the Martial Arts granted by the 2014 Monk and the one from the 2024 Monk. As such, all Monks will temporarily match the 2024 Monk's Martial Arts Die until we’re able to fix this.

When I open any book on the mobile app, it displays as this (players handbook 2014 for reference)
I've had that before. It's corrupted data on your phone, and you need to fully uninstall the app and reinstall it.
Hey, so I currently have a level 4 Monk set up (Legacy Monk), and at that level, my martial arts die is a d4. All of my other stuff uses a d4, but my unarmed strike is doing 1d6 damage for some reason. Anyone know what's up?

Are there any known issues with not being able to purchase the PHB through the online store? I enter all of my information and it kicks back an error telling me some input fields are invalid (name, card #, cvv, exp) even though they are all filled in correctly…
Do you get the same issue in another browser or on another device?
Is there any way to create a container on dnd beyond that can actually have items put in it? Same question with ammunition.
No, but you can add an existing one to your sheet and then customize it to change the name, description, etc.
Did the Fall Sale happen literally for a day? I went on it a couple of days ago, lined up some titles I was interested in, sorted some money out, then went on now to buy, and it has already gone. Is that the norm?
It was five days
How do I overwrite the dexterity limit for armors with homebrew items?
Trying to remove it from some custom scale mail so I get just +dexterity
Like essentially it's black dragon scale mail armor but with cold and necrotic resistances instead of acid, no dexterity limit to AC, and no stealth disadvantage is what I'm trying to make and it's just not giving me the AC bonus
This is how I currently have it set up
I got rid of the stealth disadvantage but it's not putting my armor class as high as it should
I should have 15+dex+1 for a total of 21 AC but it's only putting me at 18 (my dexterity is +5)
So it's still limiting me to +2 maximum
Try also adding a Modifier with:
- Type: Set
- Subtype: AC Max Dex Modifier
- Fixed Value: 10
So like this?
Oh wait not Armored
But otherwise
Yep
That’s what Serpent Scale Armor does, anyway.
Just note that it can up to 15 minutes for homebrew edits to appear on your sheet.
Okay yup that did it, thank you!
DDB is still not backwards comaptible ready? I was trying to rebuild my necro wizard to 2024 rules and I cannot get necromancer subclass with 2024 wizard. WHy is that?
It appears to work for me. You can use 2014 subclasses on 2024 classes.
Do you own the 2014 PHB or are you in a campaign where it is shared with you?
yes
You may need to go to your account page and sync entitlements.
True Strike only appears to be showing up for melee weapons, but the 2024 wording should work for ranged weapons too, right?
Do you have Legacy enabled for that character?
Is there a way in the homebrew system to make it so that a race/species can pick a skill form a certain list?
the warlock's
Great Old One Spells class feature
doesn't give access to the Dissonant Whispers and Tasha’s Hideous Laughter
but Detect Thoughts and Phantasmal Force do appear in my list of spells
unless i toggle the show level scaled option (other lvl 1 warlock spells appear regardless of the toggle)
How do I make this an option in the homebrew subclass?
I thought it would be this but it doesnt seem to be showing up
oh nevermind found it
Is anyone else having a problem with the notes tab, I can only type one letter at a time and it has to save before I goes to the next letter.
Damn, really? How did that happen though
Happens to me too ^
I don't know, I really need my notes. So if someone could help, that would be cool
That's a known issue. For now, you should be able to edit it in the character builder's Background tab without any trouble.
my 2024 paladin is not showing channel divinity usages
I see them on mine. Can you share a link to yours?
Are warlock invocations fixed yet?
Anyone have trouble with purchasing? All I want are the digital copies and it won't let me past the 'Shipping' page. I've sent multiple messages to support and have received nothing in return. I've been dealing with this since the beginning of September.
Lessons of the First One's fixed. Devil's Sight remains to be seen.
Yes, that pun's intended.
is the 29th of October probably when the pre-orders for the dmg are available on ddb? since phb was two weeks before official release?
or is a different date the expected one
Early access for Master Tier subscribers does indeed begin on the 29th.
https://discord.com/events/516367331358801950/1281640434879168538
hey its something
Not sure if this is the correct place, but I pre-orderd all three books, I have yet to receive the phycical copy of the PHB, My other friends have gotten theirs. I have also opened a ticktet on D&D Beyond website, but after a week no word. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is there a way to use expanded rule books with the 2024 handbook? I see that I can use 2014 and see all my subclasses.
You can use the species, subclasses, etc. from these books with the 2024 PHB.
My character doesn't appear in my account anymore
Though it says it still belongs to me
What username does it show at the top of this page?
https://www.dndbeyond.com/account
A different username would mean you’ve somehow signed in to a second account.
You’ll need to sign back in to the original account to access anything belonging to that account.
Presumably by using a different sign-in account than before.
There haven’t been any listed updates on the DDB forum since Sept 17. Is there an updated status on bugs?
I know they’re still working on fixes and releasing those as soon as they’re ready, but I don’t think there’s been a posted list since then.
how can you turn off so you still only use 5e rules and not 2024 edition Srd rules ?
we have tryd turn on legacy (say it is 2014) but it still show 2 of each items like healing potions and such
you cant
so we forced to use 5e 2024 edition ?
youll see both copies if you have legacy enabled
https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/159032-cant-link-to-discord-account
I'm not the only one with this problem though
I just recently created a Beyond account, and when i try to link it to my Discord account,I have a message telling me "This Discord account is already linked ...
It’s not possible to sign in through a Discord account. That’s completely unrelated.
Linking your Discord account is solely for use with Avrae.
So i'm on the last of my free trial subscription, and I changed my subscruption plan from semi-annually to monthly. However, unbeknownst to me, I was already charged for the semi-annual plan. it now says that my renewal period is Nov 1, and that it will be an additional $30 to switch back to semi-annual.
Is there any way for me to get the months I was already charged for, or potentially refunded for the months I paid for and am no longer getting?
You'll need to contact Customer Service to see about that.

Thank you so much!
that seems really silly
i agree
feel free to leave that in the feedback channel and the mods will pass it on
it seems like the 2024 GWM feat isn't functioning when you roll damage for weapons with the Heavy property
It shouldn't behave that way because it only applies to attacks made with the Attack action, so if it updated all Heavy weapon attacks then it wouldn't be usable the other way.
You can create a custom action or have additional weapons on your sheet to add the bonus damage if you want.
i don't understand, oh okay i'll create a custom then
Is it possible to homebrew new backrounds to use different ability scores? I don't see anywhere in the homebrew tool to assign those bonuses
Does anyone know a work around for the bug where Canada provinces aren't detected when buying digital books on ddb? It's a tad bit annoying tbh. (Apologies for the bad English)
dndbeyond only showing a black screen for someone else? fixed as i sent the message 😄
Same situation for me. I live in Spain and I haven't recieve the PHB. And I doubt that I'll revieve te DMG in time. 😟
The app won’t let me create or filter for homebrew for some reason
You can add existing homebrew to characters in the app, but to create or view homebrew outside of that, you'll have to use the website.
Alright quick question - When I want to create Homebrew Items based on an item of a sourcebook, do I have to own the book or is it enough to be in a campaign, which shares that book?
You'd need to own the item yourself to use it as a template when creating homebrew.
So in other words I need to either buy the item or the book?
Is there a way to only buy the magic items and spells?
I'm afraid not
I think it was possible, but it seems, that they removed it. So in other words, I either have to ask someone to create a homebrew item for me (Cuz WotC isn´t able to deliver) or pay the 30$ to get access to the item.
The Item in question is the Dragon´s Wrath Weapons, which they specifically tell you, that you have to use the homebrew tool, when you want to use a weapon other than the longsword
You could just create the Homebrew item from scratch and copy/paste the text in. The modifiers aren’t complicated, either.
I think I also can´t change Homebrew Items right?
If they’re your homebrew, of course you can.
You can’t modify someone else’s homebrew, though, but that should be obvious because it would negatively affect their use of it.
makes sense
Trying to add a variant to my hb race, but it won't let me add in the variant traits; no button to do so (see pic). Am I missing something?
Its working fine for me on Google Chrome. Are you able to try a different web browser?
Its working for me. Could it perhaps be your internet that went down?
nope everything else is good
What are you trying to do there?
Make a character..?
I looked through guide but im more confused
Well i suppose ill try to watch some Reddit posts on this first
You've got it set to use fixed HP, so you shouldn't need to change that at all.
Those boxes are used to apply a temporary change to your max HP during play.
#dnd-newcomers can help if you have any questions about the rules for character creation.
This might seem random but I want to know if there's a fillable PDF version of the 2024 character sheet?
I have one I got from a Reddit post that I will share with you if you would like it but I don't think there is one from DnD Beyond.
sure thing
Exhaustion does not automatically apply it’s debuff to your sheet
Hey does anyone know who I can speak to about a case I have had opened with Wizards support for over a month now. I accidently downgraded my D&D beyond account to hero from master, and when I ty to go back to Master it is asking me to pay again. Though i have a master tier subscription paid through May 2025. All i need to know is will i be charged again and why, and support seems to be ignoring me.
Anyone that can assist would be greatly appreciated.
So Im trying to add Slippers of Spider Climbing to my character and they are not showing up under the add items menu
Do you have legacy enabled?
A friend made a character on DDB using the 2024 Druid (Level 3 - Circle of the Sea), 2024 Human, and 2024 Guide. For some reason, DDB added Aid to his list of "always prepared" spells even though none of the options allow Aid to be always prepared. I made a character using the same parameters, and Aid was also always prepared for me. Is there a way to remove always prepared spells?
o ill try that thanks
That fixed it
might be the wrong place, but I have a custom subclass for my paladin that I remade to fit the new paladin, but when I apply it to her, she doesn't have tick boxes to mark off Channel Divinity. Any idea if that's something I need to add in the subclass?
(it's named that way so that people in my other campaigns knew it was homebrew, but now they are actually under homebrew which is nice)
That’s a known issue.
Strange, those should be there even without a subclass. Can you share a link to your character?
I thought so too. Here's a link https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/131767399
[It is completely possible I'm missing it somehow, but I can't figure out where]
Yeah, I don’t see it either. Just your subclass version. 🤔
yeaaaaaah, so that's not supposed to happen right?
Does the default one reappear if your subclass is removed?
And it disappears again with the subclass re-added?
I’d set the Feature Type to “Granted”, if that’s what you mean.
It is currently. And I thought that was correct. I was wondering if I needed to recreate it and change it
I hate to say it, but I’m not sure, then. 🤔
I haven’t had any time to play with homebrew since the new book came out, so I’m not sure if/how things have changed there…
Well, I am capable of keeping track of my channel divinities, it was just something that I wondered if y'all could point me in the right direction
I think that applies to official subclasses. Might worth checking out, just in case.
You could try making a homebrew copy of Oath of Devotion if you want to see how an official one was set up and compare notes.
Otherwise I think you’re in uncharted territory here. This is a problem I’ve definitely never seen before.

Has anyone attempted the homebrew magic item method in this link to allow a weapon to use an alternative stat for attack/damage (such as CHA instead of DEX):
According to the "Further Customization" section at the bottom, it appears that this should enable a Pact Weapon toggle box for the weapon, even if your character is not a Warlock. However, that's not working for me.
08/17/20: This guide has been updated to accommodate the new Additional Spell List section.
09/09/20: This thread and tutorial series has been updated with ...
By "not working" I mean that there is no Pact Weapon check box on the weapon, so therefore it is still using the default stat (dex) for attack/damage.
Was it set that way from the start, or did you edit it in later?
Sometimes homebrew edits can take up to 15 minutes to appear on your character sheet.
I edited it in later, and I did notice that delay you reference. I used a version number on the item to ensure that my changes were getting applied to the item.
This may just be a collateral damage bug as they are working to adjust several things with the new content. My main reason for posting it here was to see if anyone has tried that approach and it is working for them at the moment. That would help identify that there's a problem with my item.
The post does say it works for any subclass. It doesn't say anything about working for magic items.
If you're just trying to change the ability for a specific item, try this instead:
- Type: Replace Weapon Ability
- Subtype: Charisma Score
hi guys i have a problem i bought the Xanathar's Guide to Everything i can see ranger subclasses but cant see the gloom stalker class what can i do to fix it
That version of Gloom Stalker works only on the 2014 Rogue.
If you're using the 2024 Rogue, you'd need the Gloom Stalker from the 2024 Player's Handbook.
Yes I did try that Replace Weapon Ability -> Charisma as well, and that did not seem to have any effect on the bonus/damage for the equipped item. I just went through that test again with a new item, and same result, unfortunately.
In their description of the homebrew post, they say:
We also wanted to add the ability to allow you to create your own Pact/Hex Weapons using the Homebrew tools.
So I think their intent was weapons (or in my case, a magical weapon).
I'm not sure, then.
thankss
can i refund the book xd
is there a way to do it i bought it from play store
Thank you for talking it over with me and taking a look. I'll let you know if I find anything that addresses it.

THANK YOUUUUU
i try to find my order number but cant find it
I need some help, I've been having a bit of trouble with getting my D&D Beyond homebrew spells to work. This one, as an example, doesn't seem to be learnable.
Melf's Elemental Binding
In the spell editor:
My class is selected as a Warlock currently.
Have you checked in your order history?
https://marketplace.dndbeyond.com/account/orders
There are two versions of Warlock. Is the one selected in the spell the same one you've selected for your character?
it doesnt appear
I wish you guys would label the two versions so it doesn't show just:
That is really confusing.
How long ago did you order it?
like an hour
Was it ordered directly on D&D Beyond, or on dndstore.wizards.com?
from play store
But through the D&D Beyond app?
yep
Play Store orders should send you a confirmation email with the order number as well.
it didnt
@uneven lantern yeah I can't get the spell to work :/
It now shows up twice.
I chose the Ranger - Beast Master subclass to test this
The spell is still unlearnable tho
Perhaps a tooltip when hovering over the "Learn" button if it's greyed out to tell why it's unlearnable?
@uneven lantern what should i do?
Can I keep my d&d beyond character sheet as 2014?
I've only had problems thus far with the 2024 changes.
It’s showing up once for “Ranger” and once for “Ranger - Beast Master”.
I’d generally advise against listing subclasses in that field.
That could be why the Learn is disabled.
The only other place it might be is here:
https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/order-history
If not, you could wait and see maybe tomorrow if the order syncs over from the Play Store and gets displayed directly in D&D Beyond.
Or you can contact customer support to see if they can help you find it.
While its awesome that Artificers have access to 2024 spells now - depending on the subclass though, the always prepared spells that come from the subclass are labeled as legacy spells. Though, gonna assume it's because Artificers are technically not part of the 2024 PHB and that's why it's displaying as such
nope it doesnt show 😦
Easy to homebrew a version with 2024 spells.
Fair warning, homebrew spells has the artificer tag removed. It's an easy fix to reapply the tag.
how long does it usually take to get a support ticket responded to?
mine is over 3 weeks now
damn im never getting my phb then lmaooo
bought the physical + digital bundle in August and has been complete radio silence on my physical copy
Ive seen that wait times are longer than usually but I dont remember the reason
my exact problem

I've heard some non americans have the same issue
but it seems america got them I think

uh oh
maybe this was their plan to get us to go to local game stores all along
cause i am never buying a physical product onlien again lol
I'll never preorder from them again for sure
Anyone know what the updates to the books were today? Like 5+ books including the new phb got updates
Any change log anywhere?
Nope

hi i completed my character just the pearsonal characteristics are left but when i click personality traits, ideals, bonds or flaws nothing shows up is it a bug?
depnding on the subclass, it may not have any premade ones.
i use gloomstalker
oh ok i see thanks
oh okay thanks
if i put a character into a dndbeyond campaign can everyone else see it?
They’d see that it exists.
Whether they can view the sheet itself is controlled by the “Character Privacy” option in your character settings.
its also not possible on the app
so on my warlock under my pac magic ith shows my save save dc and hit dc but under my spell it does not show the same how do i fix this
Can you share a link to your character?
If I am the DM in DnD Beyond do the players need a subscription to play?
How do they access as a PC?
Do you have any reviews of DnD Beyond?
They create a character, you send them an invite to your DnDBeyond campaign, they can then add their character into your DnDBeyond campaign
Thank-you
Or you can send them the DnDBeyond campaign invite link and they can create a character inside the campaign (and thus use any materials being shared there for their character)
Which channel would be good to ask for reviews of DnD beyond.
I may want to hear some reviews before getting a subscription.
Probably a general internet search would be the best way to see others opinions of DnDBeyond.
Also you could see on app stores reviews for the DnDBeyond mobile app.
Thank-you
Hey, i should have 20 charisma, but its only displaying me having 18, I get +2 from my background, +1 from the Inspiring leader feat, and +2 from ability score improvement
fixed it
The ones that don't match are coming from your homebrew species, not your class. Since those aren't warlock spells, they don't use your warlock spell attack modifier or spell save DC.
If the value there isn't what you were expecting, you'll need to edit the homebrew accordingly.
So awhile ago I had asked if anyone had info on having my shipping address changed for the DMG and MM since I’m moving. I reached out to the email provided and they are telling me they are fully unable to change the billing address for placed orders and can refund to the original card. I told them the original card isn’t valid anymore and to refund to the new card on my account. They apparently can’t do that either and told me to reach out to my bank for refunds to the original card. I did and as I assumed, they said it can’t take refunds as it’s not a valid card anymore and that the only recourse they can see if DNDBeyond can’t change the billing or shipping is to dispute the charge.
So just a heads up for everyone, it seems like the system is setup entirely to not assist you. Be aware that you aren’t allowed to move or have a card stolen. I’m waiting to see what support says before moving forward with the dispute.
It has been two weeks since I submitted a support request for an order I made and has never been responded too how do I get ahold of dnd beyond support
I did the email through the support site
I have done that- and have two open support tickets
I did the second one on day 12 this is unacceptable
Tickets are answered during regular business hours and in the order received (based now on the time of your second ticket). That means the expected wait time can vary based on how many tickets are ahead of yours. I don't know the current expected wait time, but I believe they're a bit backed up at the moment.
I sent mine on Monday and the first reply was on Wednesday.
I believe my was submitted the 19th of September
I’ve been a master tier member for over 5 years
I’m in the same boat. I’ve spent probably over $1K with DNDBeyond. If this issue isn’t resolved and I have to go the dispute route, I’m sure they’ll end up banning my account. Not that if that’s the resolution id want to stay with DNDBeyond or DND at all anyway
My ticket has been unanswered since September 16
No one here can help you with support tickets, unfortunately.
The issue is that people have no where to turn. They can’t open new tickets cause that will push them down the list. Can’t call because there’s no number.
Exactly. At this point we are stuck and at this rate it could be another month or more. It is sad.
Ever since WOTC took over DDB, it’s gone way downhill. I never had any of these issues or lack of customer support. They took $180 happily from me. And because I’m moving and had my card stolen, their only response has been
“oh we can’t do anything 👉🏻👈🏻🥺”
But if I go through with the only course of action I have, I lose out on all the products I’ve purchased because I’ll get my account banned.
You’re telling me a company that does $5-$6 billion in revenue a year can’t change a shipping address? That’s insane.
I pretty strongly disagree with your conclusion, but this is not a discussion channel so I'm not going to engage with it. What I will offer, however, is that if you have feedback about DND Beyond, it belongs in #ddb-feedback and not here.
👌
How can I add a legacy weapon that does not have the 2024 mastery features?
All of the base weapons now have the mastery features. They decided to add it that way since you need a class feature to use them, so it has no mechanical effect on a legacy character.
Hello! My new 2024 Players Handbook seems to have a binding issue. I submitted a case with D&D Beyond Support 14 days ago, but haven’t received a response. Case #4099339. Any help would be appreciated.
Unfortunately no one here could help with that. Support generally answers tickets in the order they are received, on work days, and they apparently have an overwhelming amount right now. Don't open a new ticket, as that will move you further down the queue.
OK, thanks for the tip Nofton.
I'm trying to update a species from MofM on DND Beyond by simply changing the 2014 spell the species gets to the 2024 version. What would the code change be. The base version has the spell fog cloud as "<em>fog cloud</em> " for it's trait and the description says [spell]fog cloud[/spell] . Is there a simple way to change these so they reflect the 2024 version?
Unless you plan on referring to the subclass page outside of the character sheet, I wouldn't even bother updating those descriptions.
I'd just change which spell gets assigned to the sheet.
I was able to figure out how to solve this myself. I did some digging and found that the Physical DMG and Physical MM were not charged to my card yet (Should have been explained when emailing with the CS rep). I was able to cancel out the physicals while keeping the digitals still in my account since those are marked as delivered already. I reordered the physicals with my updated payment info and delivery info so we should be all clear.
Are agonizing blast and repelling blast by chance fixed yet?
just saw artificer spell list no longer showing only the legacy spells except for the subclass-given ones. is that going to be fixed as well?
also are armor modifications for armorer and homonculus scaling block ever going to be implemented?
Is anyone else having an issue where tokens from modules you've paid for (e.g. Phandelver -- Goblin Boss (Variant)) are still greyed out and unselectable in Maps?
Did anyone else have an issue where you bought the Digital+Physical Bundle for the new rulebooks but the physical Players Handbook got cancelled?
Yeah some folks had issues. The process D&D followed was they charged you for the digital that was delivered on the release date, then charged for the physical when the physical copies were ready to be sent out. However some folks didn't have the funds at that point, in which case the physical order was cancelled. There were also some other rare issues that popped up as well. If you were impacted by this, reach out to customer service to get support.

Ahhh I thought it charged me for all of it initially, but it did not. And I had to get that card replaced between then and now
That would likely be why the physical book order part was cancelled - the billing method used in the initial order couldn't work when the physical books were ready to send out.
Triple checking.
Master Tier early access for the DMG will open up on the 29th, yes?
Yep
nice!
I could use some help if anyone is available to answer.
I’m trying to make a character using the -mark of sentinel human- race/species from the book “eberron: rising from the last war”.
I’ve used the race in the past to make a character on dnd beyond but when doing so now on dnd beyond I see the race isn’t adding the racial/species bonuses like its supposed to now (constitution increase by 2 and wisdom increase by 1) and appears to have been completely removed
From checking the other human races from the book, mark of finding human is the only one appropriately adding its racial bonuses
Has anyone had issues making a purchase on dndbeyond
Ok I have figured out what my issue was but idk if this was an intentional change or not, the ability scores for the races where completely removed, I noticed this by comparing the race as it now with an older character using the same race
I now can't access my 2024 content.
Okay so the 2024 edition is updating, that might have been the problem...
Also where can I see the changes in this update?
I can't even google it as it just brings up people discussing changes from 2014 to 2024, not these patch changes.
Hi, I am trying to create a lvl 4 ranger with the Blind Fighting fighting style, but I can't find it listed in the style options. Am I missing something?
Edit: Silly me. I had the Blind Fighting feat added, which removed it from the style options. Derp!!
is there a way to just allow absorb elements to roll once? i really find them very confusing rolling a lot of times
and by extension, sorcerous burst as well
If you chose one of the new backgrounds, you should be getting that increase from your background instead, according to the rules.
What kind of issues?
There aren’t published lists for those changes. It’s usually just fixing typos and such.
Why would you need to roll Absorb Elements more than once? If you cast it at a higher level, just roll the one for that level.
it rolls differently for each damage type
i just want a 1 universal roll
since they all have the same dice anyway
I genuinely don’t know what you’re talking about. There’s only one roll, ranging from 1d6 to 9d6.
Are you using some extension that’s changing the normal behavior of the site?
When I click the 1d6, it rolls exactly 1d6, as stated in the rules.
Also, the first time you hit with a melee attack on your next turn, the target takes an extra 1d6 damage of the triggering type, and the spell ends.
When I click it at a higher level, like level 2’s 2d6, it rolls exactly 2d6 — again, in accordance with the rules.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the extra damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
oki will try to show
What part of the rules says they removed ability scores from old content when I thought the old content was remaining untouched, not to mention the info on the race still says they are supposed to receive those bonuses as apart of its race, all the races from Eberron do
Similarly, species in older books include ability score increases. If you’re using a species from an older book, ignore those increases and use only the ones given by your background.
Ok, I’m going to withhold my opinion as this isn’t a place for ranting. Thank you for pointing it out. I’ll just point out that I for one and I’m sure others don’t like this change and want to continue using thier content the way it was.
If you pair it with an older background, the older rules apply. If you pair it with a new background, the new rules apply.
Hey hey, is DNDBeyond having a problem or is it just me? I went over the usual steps;
- Avrae says I don't have TCoE (or any book for that matter)
- In a campaign, character is setup, content sharing is enabled, TCoE is part of that list (this worked fine last night)
- Disconnected Discord, reconnected
- Checked the content manager tab, it's completely blank (this repeats for all other campaigns I'm in)
I know for a fact I'm still part of the campaign and other players have access to the content, grabbed another friend and they could see it just fine
How do I put the Celestial language on my character's sheet using DD Beyond? I don't see the option.
You can add it manually on the website ver
just click on languages and add Celestial
Just have this options. Don't have Celestial
Folks, is there a way to take a JSON export of a character in Foundry-VTT and bring it automatically into DnDBeyond? My only option appears to punch it in manually but seems like there should be a way to import the character given its structured content?
guys is the dnd map down?
As dm I nget this error "Our steps got out of sync thanks to Otto's Irresistible Dance.
Please refresh to help us save our Wisdom Saving Throw!
(We ran into an error while loading the map. If this continues to persist, please contact support.)"
And my party can't join. The game just crashed mid session. Can't rejoin now.
There is not.
Figured. manual it is ther. Thanks for the quick response
Any word on using third party subclasses with 2024 classes?
Looks like it's still just a waiting game
It's being left up to the third parties to update them for 2024 rules
Ye I'm aware. Asking if anyone has heard anything new about it
So I am new and trying to figure out the best way to roll up a character sheet for online play
#dnd-newcomers might be the best place to look
I'm not sure why but for some reason I have an additional +2 modifier to my Str, Dex, and Con rolls
if someone can explain why I suddenly have an additional 12 stats in my character sheet I would most appreciate it
Does it work if you disable Beyond 20?
lmt this
It returns to normal when I disable dnd beyond
You mean when you disable Beyond 20?
If Beyond 20 is causing issues, that’s not really something we can help with, I’m afraid.
ah thank you
^If anyone else has the same issue just uninstall Beyond 20 and reinstall this fixes it
I have a level 5 spore Druid that I’ve converted to the 2024 Druid base class, and Aid is showing up as an “Always Prepared” spell—for the life of me I can’t understand why. Is that an error?
Yeah, that’s a known issue.
Am I doing something wrong? Can you not write notes in the Map tool?
i have a campaign im trying to start but cant see most of the subclasses for the sourcebooks i have
I just made a character based on a sheet I used in a previous D&D campaign, and it says my Initiative is +2 when my sheet says 9, but I'm having trouble finding a page that edits Initiative and I want my character to be true to my sheet as possible.
I don’t think you can, but you can use the feedback link inside Maps if you want to make any feature requests.
Did you purchase those books yourself? Do you have the appropriate content toggles enabled in your character settings?
How did you get to nine before? If your character was using some homebrew feature to do it, you likely need to use the homebrew tools to add it for the new one as well.
It was like that when I attended a D&D group at a library.
The point remains that if you’re not using the normal rules (in which your Initiative equals your Dexterity modifier), then you’ll need to use the homebrew system.
Where do I have to go to/ what do I have to do when I can't see an order in my order history, either being the old or new one, but I wanna check the status of my bundle?
Did you order on D&D Beyond, or dndstore.wizards.com?
Uhm... urgh why are there 3 ways to find an order history... curses
It was the dndstore one. assuming I get both phb and dmg once dmg is out as I paid both together?
But I don't know how to use the Homebrew system.
Then you can add it to your character sheet by going to Features & Traits > Manage Feats.
Wait, I have to type in all of those details from scratch?
Dude, I spent what felt like forever typing it in on the regular page.
All what details?
