Looking at the character, it currently has a homebrew subclass (Psion), which might be impacting it. Otherwise I'd recommend making a note of all the selections (options and spells) made for the sorcerer levels, removing the class entirely and readidng the 7 levels back.

Dm gave an artificial boost for the fight we are in due to the Psion stuff, we are fighting a psychic.

When I edited the character, the subclass was showing as Psion - if you arent seeing that then there is caching issues, which would be impacting. The best thing to do is to note everything down, remove the class completely and re-add, this should reset the caching. Having both yourself and the DM editing a character at the same time can also be a potential issue.

Hello, i'm trying add ability score increase that gives a homebrew racial trait a constitution score increases by 2 and one another of the players choosing by 1 (Its same thing as the warforgeds racial trait ) but im not sure what to type in the Fixed Value section to make the modifier work.

The modifier you have is for Prof in Con Checks, not a modification of ability scores. I'd recommend making a homebrew copy of another race to see what modifiers are used for Ability Sore increase (they should geenrally be ability score and under bonus off memory)

Then if you wanted to give Con +2 then 2 would be in fixed value field

So I bought a few books seperate from the bundle then the bundle because the conversion fees were less

Then save it, edit it again, and scroll to the bottom. You should then see the option to add additional damage at higher levels.

Yeah, that's basically a shared screen across the homebrew system, so you may see modifiers that don't apply to your current situation.

If you can think of another subclass feature that works that way, you could make a homebrew copy of that subclass and see how they set it up.

But I'd bet that since Agonizing Blast is a class feature, it was probably built with magics not meant for us mere mortals. 🙈

Gateway Rejected errors are likely your credit card/debit card service flagging and rejecting DnDBeyond/WoTC from charging your card. In that case, reach out to your bank (or whoever owns your payment method) and talk with them about it.
Or something in the billing address/location does not match things correctly as expected. Make sure your billing address actually matches what your payment method has on file.

If that does work, there’s probably a browser extension for the first one that’s interfering.

They can disable them all and try again. If that works, they can enable them one by one to try and find the culprit.

If another browser doesn’t work, it’s more likely to be a network issue or some security software interfering.

Normally that just retriggers the entitlement sync for everyone in the group. If the entitlements are already in sync, I’m not sure whether it’ll help.

But it’s easy enough to try.

1. User A (the current owner of the character) joins a campaign (any campaign)
2. User A selects 'Unassign' for the chosen character
3. User B joins the same campaign
4. User B selects 'Claim' on the character on the campaign join screen
   5 User A and User B leave the campaign [optional]

Check to see if any of the other spells are from licensed sources like Xanathar's or Tasha's, I am not totally certain that's the issue (and I'm probably wording it wrong) but I recall having a similar problem in the past and I had to remove some of the spell links that were not in the free rules

If something is from the Player's Handbook (and not the Basic Rules), it is also licensed content. The only spells you can use associated with homebrew are ones that are freely available - basically, if you need to pay to access it, it cannot be associated to homebrew and be published (as you cant be sure the user adding and using the homebrew will have access)

Easiest thing to do is make a new feat that everyone can pick up
Just add one spell (restricted to level 0/cantrip)
If you’re not specifying the name or class, they should be able to pick any cantrip from the game

When you're adding the spell, set Spell Levels to "Cantrip" and Spell Class to the class you want ("Wizard", for example).

You could make a homebrew copy of High Elf if you want to peek inside and see how the official one was set up.

Do you know of any existing D&D spells that increase range when upcast? I can't think of any.
DnDBeyond really only supports existing game rule mechanics so if it doesn't currently exist in the current rules, they likely don't have a way to support it. In which case your best bet is to just leave that information in the description text for the spell.

That just checks the data saved separately in Avrae.

Again, anything you see in Avrae is what Avrae has saved. It's separate from your actual character sheet data.

But if it can !update, then Avrae can at least access that data. (And again, so can I.)

So it sounds to me like this is probably a local issue.

avs- is the Address Verification System. Something about the address you entered in DDB didn’t match the address your bank had on file, so your bank rejected the request.

Could be as small as an extra space or a missing period.

Nah, the system needs updated to even support that.

At the moment, it’s just the 1d8.

You can manually roll a d12 using the dice button in the bottom corner.

Or you could create a custom action on the Actions tab (by clicking Manage Custom there in the top right corner).

Or you could make a homebrew copy of the spell and switch it to a d12 (and potentially add it to your sheet with a homebrew feat, so you can have both).

so when I create a homebrew magic item and add +1 to spell save DC it becomes +8 so I tried doing a copy of rod of the pact keeper and it has "warlock spell attack bonus" specifically but when I create a magic item from scratch I don't have access to this option? there is no bonus to add for "warlock spell attacks" on an item made from scratch...I'm trying to make an item that adds +1 spell save DC and +1 spell attack bonus for all casters

You don’t need to set Ability Score, but I don’t know whether that’s enough to stop the rest from working.

How long ago did you add it? Homebrew edits can sometimes take up to 15 minutes to show up on the character sheet, too, so it might be enough to just wait a little longer.

I have a player running a L7 Oath of Devotion paladin, proficiency bonus is +3, Wis is 8, has proficiency in perception. We googled how to calculate passive perception and got that it should be 12, but when I mock up her character sheet on D&D Beyond it shows passive perception 17. I noticed today that my 14th level goblin rogue is getting twice the expected Dex bonus in dndbeyond for his attack rolls. He should be getting +14, but he is getting +20. I verified this is from the Dex, and raising/lowering the Dex increased the attack mod by 2.

Chances are the error might have to be looked at by one of the techs. That said, it doesn't seem to be a global outage so there's a few things you could try doing to make it easier for the techs to fix

If it has never worked on that device, it could be a browser issue. I had a phone that due to settings, Beyond would do that Beholder thing any time I opened it in Samsung Internet app instead of Chrome.
