I claimed my 1 epic officer shard from the in game valentines event. Guys seriously, 1 shard? each officer needs ~1500 to max, or 100 even unlock ... and theres dozens of them. Free or not, a single shard is really miserable and pathetic. Especially while half of discord is screaming over the lack of d'vor parts available to max and scrap the ship

Add 1 more disappointing aspect of this, the worst arc in STFC history, mining concentrated Latinum-the focus of this poorly planned arc-does not count as mining in any way in Latinum rush. Genius!

Here is how to fix this arch.

Add Dvor BP to a Dabo spin. Guarenteed 1 BP and a chance between 1, 2, 3 additional BP. Also give 3k dvor parts and a chance between 1k, 2k, 3k additional dvor parts. Limited to 60 spins. At max pull, this guarantees a new dvor and between 240k and 350k dvor parts. Enough for players to get back to t7, almost t8 but not enough to max another one back out.

When scrapping a dvor, give 4k Fessha parts.

Add syndicate xp as an option for Dabo.

Give everyone 12k gravimetric scanners for the bad bad start.

Change the chance option on the dabo spinsto 1 quark shard, 1 Fess and 1 Arrock shard, lat, and change the speed ups to the equivalent of the lat. Speed ups are limited whereas lat can be used for much more. I would even cutting the lat in half due to this change.
Change the chances to epic officer 5% rare 10%, lat 40%, speed ups 40%

I would also add battle Debris Dabo spin. Keep the same set up and add officer experience but have lower rewards.

Arrock as captain with full ferengi synergy will turn horizon/faction miner into a great second clat miner without building a second dovr fettuccini. I think that’s pretty cool.

If you just want ferengi on a ferengi ship it will still work on dvor feldspar but it just won’t have as pronounced an increase because there is already a substantial bonus that they add to not multiply

Well, yes, players need to make an informed choice and plan accordingly based on their current ships and what they can do in events. It was made clear that the new Dvor Feesha would only be good for C-Lat, so people with only 1 D'vor can make the choice.

Given you appear to be ops 47, how have you not got more D'vors though? I'm ops 46 and had 3 (2 now after scrapping)

The event store really sucks this time. I just pulled 9 chests on Dabo Table and only got 1 Officer shard. And what’s the deal with such measly little bit of uncommons? With max of 50 chests that is only 350 uncommons. That might be a lot for a level 10 player but it’s nothing for everyone else.

why? whales pay money in order to bypass the long timers and waiting, and refining, and progressing. They speed up the game considerably to fit their time parameters. f2p can wait on anything, and some play a lot more to gain advantage since they can't do it with money

if there was one armada spawn per event, then the fastest starter will win the event. This is a good position for someone who has one set of directives to spend, and he has a chance at it vs an event with 100 spawns where he can never win.

Getting what? it's clearly in the leader's interest to keep their lead with the fewest resources used as possible. If you can't understand this concept then you probably don't get it. There are two sides to the story: those on the bottom looking up want more armada spawns to catch up, and those on top want their lead preserved with fewest opportunities to lose advantage. Not enough spawns means you can't use the directives available to you, and too many means you aren't capturing enough spawns to beat the whales. There's a balance that best results in your victory, and each person has a different target. Whether Scopely has hit the target for you, is an entirely subjective experience.

The point is that today's discussion isn't about armadas or anything event specific. It's about the ineptitude of Scopely to think logically and to actually make this freaking game less laborsome for all, not just for whales.

If I'm not mistaken... up to 4 Alliances can flag an Armada Target. Not quick enough on the draw? Steal the kill. If that causes a war... the issue is with the player base, not the game mechanics. In the case of an SLB... nothing is forcing anyone to compete.

Like I said... Player issue. Leaderboards are meant to be competitive. Preventing an opponent from scoring points is a valid tactic. I wouldn't try to steal an Armada during a simple Milestone event. That... would be an Act of War.

The fact that the quarjs test event requires 34 epic armadas to complete is almost enough to push me away from this game for good. Scopely doubled down on armadas and still provides no directives to the players.
