Remember that it's not a case of the event doesn't exist for the rest of us, it's just that we don't meet their seemingly random criteria. So if it appears after the start then it would suggest that something changed that you now did meet that criteria.

I'm WELL aware of that issue. I suffered through it as well, having played this game since Dec 2018. However, squeaky wheel gets the grease.... So I started squeaking after being patient. We should ALL be squeaky wheels about this and other issues that go unaddressed. Such as the saved crew sets.

There’s such a disparity based on levels of what people want. Those dying for officers and xp and credits- GIVE ME FACTION HUNT … those with the officers - xp - and ships … ugh faction hunt

The issue with faction hunt is the time it takes at higher levels. If they were to include armadas for 500+ pts or give bonuses for ship/officers it would be so so much better

I'm glad they are starting to try and source shards better. Still wish they weren't so leaderboard heavy. The solo milestone is a welcome addition (although this picard one is pretty hefty, especially for between the arcs). If they would've doubled the amount for example you got in the riker solo milestones and then reduced the leaderboard totals you could win in lb by half, it would allow most players to unlock a new officer and then still get to tier 2 if you want to work on leaderboards. I think this would work better even for new rare officers than epic as I know in the past scopley didn't want too many unlocking epics during an arc. Just food for thought.

Granted it was only ops 35 lvl but 2 ships same system hugging a spawning spot. Getting 10-14 kills per minute. Systems were Wolf, Altanea and Mempa. Especially Wolf with its 40s went pretty fast. If you can juggle even more ships go for it. One guy in our alliance had 5 ships out.

Wolf is pretty busy. The others are not so good. But I don’t move around in the system. It’s not worth it.

I don't believe it's random since every time someone else jumped on the LB it pushed me back further, I watched as the person who knocked me out of 1st was knock out by the next guy, I slipped to 3rd, him 2nd. it's literally a statement from a dev. Pretty easy to prove wrong too if you're adamant about it.

I can say that you're far more likely to notice when a tied person is random placed above you than below.

So it's best to use empirical evidence. Take a SS of the placings now, and note when a new person drops in.

So agree with you that collusion could create manipulated tie scores. I am certain I am not colluding with the other players I am tied with. I think Scopely’s random number generator is broken, like it was during the Picard Facepalm event. When the scoring for the event is designed to create tie situations, the players are at the mercy of the “random” placement. They should design a way to avoid ties. But if they happen, be fair to all the players. Give them the same prize. Could mean the difference between scoring in the event or not, like ending #11 and not getting the avatar😢

Not the best maybe, which is why I mentioned other ways: level, power, etc. There are other ways to break ties that involve spending real cash to buy consumables. The way to break the tie in the Picard event was to buy Wesley. But he wasn’t available in the store while the event was running🤣

Never trust an organization that takes away that which is beneficial. There is no reason to, other than greed. Scopy has no economic sense. You price out all but the top 5-10% of players, and rather then adjusting down to include more folks (which would increase revenue as the costs are fixed) they increase to get just a little bit more, thereby alienating and driving away others.
