I think normally explorer hostiles give explorer parts, battleship hostiles give battleship parts and so on. You get 3* parts from hostiles approximately level 26/27 and above.

I came up with this to make it easier to remember... it is simply the concept of half life, where it simply says, how many hits/hauls you need to raid 50% of the target base's resources. So, if you have a maxed amalgam, all you need to know is that in 693 hits, you will have raided 50% of the target player. So if you're against a base with 100B par, and your amalgam is T4 at level 20 (which means ability is 0.0004), you simply need 1733 hits to gain 50B par, then 1733 more hits to get 25B par, then 1733 hits more to get 12.5B par
This is assuming you are raiding with an empty cargo

Amalgam's ability works on top of/after it fills its hold, btw - so for your example the t4 amalgam will be bringing in an additional 5-6B or so per 1733 hits from the flat rate of regular scoops.

Yes, the ship's cargo as well as the individual's research brings in some level of difference between this predicted values and the observed values, but as you go against bigger and bulkier targets, the observed number of hits should keep getting closer to these predicted values ( You can actually make a chart of that too and you will observe that the observed will be asymptotic to this chart, and when against base with huge stockpile, like hundreds of billions or even trillions or quadrillions of rss, it'll have less and less variation between predicted and observed)

Imagine if you were raiding a base with 100B rss, if you were to hit 693 times with a maxed amalgam, you'd have raided 50B rss, and pulled on average 72M rss per hit ( the first hit will pull more and it will sowly go down after each hit)... But still if you were to do the same with a faction miner that pulled like 5M per hit, you'd need 10,000 hits to raid the same... 693 hits doesn't seem too big now does it?😅

When events start taking more time to get rss. To me its about resources over time. Right now scoeply is giving alot more rss then it takes to raid. ive yet to have to raid anyone and still have 63B parsteel in the bank.

Yeah I can kinda relate... I'm sitting with 82B par + some change in tokens because of events... so raiding seems pointless at the moment
But I still would raid if I could gather a reasonable amount of rss
I may not need it today but it wouldn't hurt to gather rss by raiding and using the tokens for a rainy day instead

Event stores with ship bps are usually at the end of larger arcs like tng, duality, Tos, discovery
So, my guess being about 6 months

even smaller arcs, like absolution, had an event store, that one was one month long and had the end of arc event store for the last week. If you're lucky and this is a smaller arc, 2-3m, then it might land in march or april.

IIRC doing all of the missions will leave you 6-12 bp shy of being able to build the BB - there was a claim chest in the augment store that got the last ones needed

Any of the Ships purchased through the Fed/Rom/Klingon stores. Each one them them has 1 class of ship (Explorer, Interceptor, Battleship, Surveyor) at each of the levels you get a new option (26,28,30,32,34, some 40+ ones I don’t recall)

Oh, was thinking faction ships for player ships. For the faction dailies, any Hostile of the specific level with the faction in their name. Generally most ships in faction space will be those factions ships, but some have independent ship too
So Axenar (Fed 36 system) has both Fed ships and independent ships

I have been, let’s say in Klingon territory needing level 30’s, I’ll go hit a spot with those as to also count for the lower dailies and check to see if it counted on all and sometimes it don’t. Yesterday I didn’t check and after 20 kills I checked and not one counted on the main daily I was trying to do. It has to be something I’m doing wrong but I’ll be @#$* if I can’t figure.lol

1: Should I level up to 34 and buy enterprise with real money, or can I even do that if I didn't hit 10million fed rep? I am at 2,4mmillion now and can't find any more missions...
2: My alternative plan would be to stay on 32 and build the intrepid to get higher warp for more fed missions and wait on 32 till I get enough rep and resources to jump to 34 and get some enterprise tiers? What's your thoughts my experiences friends 😅

If you got your saladin you can easily skip intrepid if you like. Get your rep up, then start buying ent bp's in Ata store at 32 and buy some via faction store
I myself got the intrepid, and I must say I love that ship, but it really only has one use and that's pve. If you don't do a lot of pve, skip intrepid.

Sally is an awesome ship, but maxes out around 2M. Intrepid around 3M. Enterprise is definitely expensive, but STARTS between those two and goes much higher.
If either one will kill something, then sure, use Sally.

I wouldn’t, personally. Sally is a huge step above May, useful even alongside Intrepid. I haven’t had Enterprise long enough to tier her up to know how she’ll fit for me. Vi’Dar meanwhile just keeps plugging. Borg AND as an OPC hunter.

How to farm Scouts
Scout ships have an approx 80% chance of dropping Faction Messages which can be used to get Faction Credits in the Faction Store.
The mechanics of the game allow for systems that are not in use (no player activity) to go into hibernation. This means that after approx 10-15 mins of no activity the NPC hostiles slowly disappear until there are no NPC ships in the system (this helps reduce server load for $copely).
Scout ships can be easily farmed by:
- Going to a system that contains Scouts - a list is in the #info-resources channel
- Place you ship in the middle of the system (recommend using Klaa as captain)
- Leave the system and go about whatever else you are doing
- Revisit the system after approx 12-15 mins and if there has been no activity in the system (ie: other players have been in the system) a Scout ship will respawn immediately
- Rinse and repeat every 12-15 mins

Hey all.👋🏻🖖🏻 I need some professional guidance. I watched yesterday Rev Deuce’s YouTube (and god bless him for his films!) how to choose which ship for what faction, but which faction is best to advance from “Respected”? Is it really Federation? Or shall I aim on Klingies and Rommies?
Besides from Newton, I’m not sure what else ship is that good from Federation. What shall I do? Any advice? I have D4, regular Ent too btw.

stfc.space gives you warp details for every ship
And G3 Epics can reach 75, if you upgrade them to that point

I don't have the "G3" ship. And I don't see how far my Nordstar will have at maximum expansion either, only currently or after expansion.

Hello guys ! Is there a "map" of the early missions to know the chain and twists in dilemnas like 'Plan B ' who ask a choice between helping colonists and preventing a Klingon ship to escape so a station cannot be warned of Agent Devos Plan to attack ?
Does that choice have an effect on future missions of a chain ? ot ONLY on the rewards, hete same but either 1M Parsterl for colonists help vs 65k Trit if we chasse the Klingon ship Warp trail.

@fleet flame Cadets Uhura as Captain McCoy as 1st officer and The weapons officer Chen against energy weapons hostiles and T'laan for Cinetic weapons.
Explorers and Battleship have energy weapons, interceptors and Survey have Cinetic weapons.
That is the first Team you need to know TLaan for Swarm!
As soon as you get Elite Pike, Rare Moreau should already be yours and they become your main crew skeleton With the Tlaan or Chen weapon soecialist.
That Crew seems the best to minimise the cost in repair resources and allows fewer runs because less damages per win.You crew lower decks with Health officers mostly.
But if you have other priorities, like the overall hunting time, then you might enjoy Klaa or the new impulse officers like Elite Michael Burnham and try them in synergy crew or in mixed crew.
When hunting gighest hostiles like 2 runs to get a single very high prey, you might use a quicker Warp officer like The parsteel early officer, or Stamets original to come back faster to get the damaged hostile.
in that case more Attack might be a more efficient choice in lower decks.
But if you need 2 runs to get an hostile, the best way is team work with another commander. both having that daily task, or one generous elder using an adapted lower ship "to crash damaging half way" on that high prey of yours. That means some long time both playing together, but it can allow nice moments and very high hunt way earlier.
And for other officets or specialist, you try and compare the results. Derivation of the output against time spent, against repair ressources including boosters, or against points in events per run.
Elite Borg Kaylah would lower damages, but the EXP and loot bonus she gives might be yoir choice when you finally get her.

For the most part, Crew your ships based on what you want the ship to go after rather than crewing the ship based on the ship itself. There are exceptions, but the abilities of the officer will clue you in to those exceptions.
