Couple of things folks -

1. Battle-pass rewards have not changed or decreased in any way since we introduced it. The value has always been the same (although we changed some of the items in it).
2. Uncommon ticketed events are still here for this arc (first ones coming Sunday) and will be exactly like they were before
3. These new rare ticketed events are optional this round and specifically meant to give the away teams refresh tokens if so desired.

We are reading your feedback on these new rare events as well and like with the uncommon ones in previous arcs, will make adjustments in future runs if needed

It's not the RSS i think that's got me annoyed, it's the random useless extras that get thrown in, and for no perceived value.
Some arcs it's a palty amount of ISO, or nanoprobes, or borg directives.
This arc it's away team refresh tokens, which are completely useless when everyone is zeroed on speedups.

In the event store there are 4 missions to buy costing 140 mission keys. The battlepass only has 70 mission keys in it. Will the other 70 pay out somewhere or am I meant to chose whether to buy the 10/20/40 missions or save for the 70 one? Every time Ive opened a ticket to get help fixing things that weren't a fault of mine, they refused to help. My prime example is way back when franklin was released. I lvled up to get the bps. Only 1 of the 2 events popped. So i was stuck with half the bps to build it. After over a month of back and forth, they made it clear that although it was a problem on their end, they wouldnt help me out (Yes there was a followup event a few months later). However ever since then nothing has changed, stuff still comes out broken and they dont seem to care. I don't pay for a broken game. Especially at these prices.

From what I heard, there was a mistake.... MS 4 will now give you the keys to start bundle missions1-5, but it actually contains all 10. so they pulled mission 6-10 bundle and replaced it with an ATA speedups bundle (nice). this unlocks with keys from MS12. MS18 will give you keys for the 40 mission bundle.
with that mission bundle that costs 70 mission keys, it sounds like they will be sourced in an upcoming event so you do not have to choose or anything like that.

We are choosing because we want this to be good, because we love star trek. Except arc after arc things are pushed behind paywalls and its an uphill fight just to progess. Look at it this way, playstation plus membership for a 12 months is £43.99. Every month you get 2 free games. If I want to buy an upgrade for a t5 epic ship from scratch, it would cost the same in packs as a PS5. Couple that with things like event tickets, that were previously free now locked behind a paywall (which btw the cost is actually even less value than a normal £99 pack) and I find it odd that you come to discord to criticise people for being disgruntled with that.

for example add in more TOS era g3 ships such as miranda class, daedulus class for feds, some similar for the other 2 races then for g4 ships add in enterprise b and miranda class refit and uss stargazer (each have unique ship bonuses) and similar for the other two races, then for TNG era add in more rom / klingon officers as well as ships to balance out the 3 main races (the last 6 months have been heavily biased towards feds). for klingons gowran, kern, martok, worf's missus, duros sisters etc, for romulan tasha yar' daughter, commander tomalok, etc

have some ships with dedicated pvp bonuses

and some non aligned charaters like Q where when added to a ship has a reverse summons ability that can throw a targetted player ship out of a system(sends it home) but requires a hard to get resource to activate so its not over used

i'd name that ability pure omnipotence

add a medical class ship that requires a resource to activate an area of effect weapon to heal nearby ships

i ran 13 accounts omega in eve online for years i made a lot of in game money which let me build fight in and even lose supercapitals and replace them quickly

i even had 5 citadels

in eve online they have f2p (alpha) and subscription plan (omega) 15 euros per month for omega but it allowed you fly capitals (alpha can only fly upto battleships)

but even as alpha you could make so much isk you could use it to upgrade yourself to omega for free (30 days plex)

you just had to grind it

i lost a titan worth €3500 ish in one battle replaced it 3 weeks later (yes they take 3 weeks to build)

not sure why relo tokens are any issue. I have several hundred of them and raid daily so use couple of them everyday. I find tygokor to be the best system to farm them and don't miss out the daily one from alliance store

the big problem is most events/missions/dailies are centred around nuetral space but for hosiltes and mining i need to be in ds

with refined mycelium capped at 18k you can burn through that pretty fast when using summons, so relos are often needed.

then there is the constant need to base raid which also uses alot of relos

i would use 3 -4 a day moving base just for mining g4s

i go from warp 75 pockets

jump base n move miners mine for a few hours on say gas next move to ore then crystal (using 4-5 miners in each pocket) then move base to tc mine iso for a few hours then while also doing borg/outlaw and events/missions then move to base raiding later when most fall asleep and forgot to shield

I think scopely's store plan has always been to push players for higher spend rather than what is in sensible. The battlepsss pack has been the only exception and has probably earned them more than any other pack. I just don't spend anything on this game not even a 5.

if 38+ kill 49 traders 7-15 will do it

if not able to kill 49s kill 40s/41s 50 should do it

i personally think scopely need to create a council of elected players to form a representative group to speak on behalf of the players. each server should offer up a vote to elect 1 representative per server and these elected people then form a council of players who channel ideas and frustration into a panel of devs who then determine whats feasible or not

the panel of players should take on onboard 1. bugs (determine a priority list for long standing bugs that should be fixed) 2. new ideas and 3. ui improvments and 4. event ideas

every year a new panel of players should be elected and no player should sit in the council of players for more than 2 terms

The intention of away missions was to help us progress in various ways, officer, ship, station development. Unfortunately for away missions the bar has been set too high. To have mission success you need to send your some of your best officers to stand a good chance, rather than the intended officers you don't use. I would suggest a rethink of mission requirements and parameters to allow us to stand a better chance using the non main stream officers, as that was the intention in the 1st place

I believe that the win chance only changes with officer stats, so if you level your officers it will get higher

Though you can get better results by not picking the highest key stat officers, as off stats do still contribute. Particularly if you're looking at blues and have epics available.
