It seems the idea is that players keep the Outpost directives for week 2 and week 4 of the month, where the Outpost sms events will run. If you used all of your starts before, the sms that rins now will be hard or impossible to complete. But next week during ATs you can get 2-4 starts from store, then 2 more starts from refinery before the Outpost sms event in week 4 runs. Also there will surely be some starts that you get from Outpost battlepass that starts after the arc ends. So people will just have to learn to hoard it for weeks 2 and 4 of the month. Similarly like we hoard armada starts for Xindi rare armadas for Xindi weekly event, or Stella armadas that are usually done on Thursdays...

Honestly, I don't know what you expected from Scopely. They've removed a feasible event and turned it into one that's practically impossible to run. They're only driven by one thing, and it'll always be the same: monthly revenue. They turn a deaf ear to everything else because they're not interested. When they said they were going to make changes to the outposts to improve them, most of us knew it was just to squeeze more money out of them, not to actually improve them.

You're only meant to reach milestone 7 by completing all of those. Last week there were comps which gave extra points so everyone could do 1 extra milestone. They want you to buy a pack to reach milestone 8.

The token you bought is used once you claim in the daily tasks menu, if you skipped out on a daily challenge you won't reach the last milestone and essentially have wasted money.
I could make an argument that everything paid in this game is wasting money but that's outside of current scope of your question

You could play it safe by only purchasing that weekly bounty pack once you reached 7 out of 8 milestones
Although iirc the pack gives you 2 of such tokens so the second week you'd have to be careful and make sure to either not claim that daily until the last day, or be certain you'll be able to do all the other milestones and thus logging on daily

1. The "Extra Zero" Visual Bug
There have been reported localization and translation bugs where task requirements display an extra zero or incorrect numbers.
The Reality: The actual task requirement is typically 3,500 tokens, not 35,000.
Fix: If your task is not progressing after spending a reasonable amount, try clearing your localization in the settings menu and restarting the app.
2. High-Level Rebalancing (Ops 55+)
If you are Ops 55 or higher, this may not be a bug but a recent 2025/2026 rebalance designed to prevent high-level players from "instantly" completing tasks with daily claims.
The Issue: Similar to Syndicate tasks increasing from 225k to 3 million points, some artifact tasks have been scaled up significantly for elite leagues.

Is the v'ger hostile respawn (where it spawns the cloaked ones far too much causing the game not to spawn regular visible hostiles) going to be fixed by the time of the Final SLB?

In case a picture helps...this is the level 68 system on my server with no regular hostiles and whatever glitch caused the cloaked ones to be visible (who cares). But having 13+ of the cloaked ship summoning hostiles spawned seems to have prevented any regular ones from spawning. Only when one of the cloaked ones despawns do we start getting any regular ones.

Idea 1: Limit cloaked V'ger per system to X (I'm thinking 1-2 with a guarantee that at least 1 spawns).

Idea 2: If it is troublesome to limit the respawn balance, maybe move all the cloaked spawns to new V'ger systems and have them separate?

So we got a “compensation chest” for last week’s lag.
Cool. Except the servers are STILL lagging just as badly — if not worse.

Let’s be clear:
• 50+ seconds to load into a system
• Ships appearing already dead
• Kill messages popping AFTER the game finally loads
• Events that rely on split-second timing running on servers that can’t handle basic navigation

And the solution?
👉 Click a chest
👉 Open a menu
👉 Click another menu
👉 Maybe get something useful

Why are rewards still locked behind multiple clicks and gift chests in 2026?

You already know who’s Ops 20–50 and who’s 51+
You already know what players need
Yet we get blanket rewards because the system “can’t separate players properly”

That’s not a player problem.
That’s a CODE problem.

Here’s a radical idea:
Deliver rewards directly to player inventories.
• Fewer clicks
• Less server strain
• Less lag
• Less frustration

Instead, we get Incursions — one of the MOST server-intensive events in the game — stacked on infrastructure that clearly isn’t ready.

And before anyone says “but we got compensation”:
Compensation means nothing when the SAME issues are happening right now.

Fix your servers.
Fix the lag.
Fix the reward delivery system.
THEN run events like Incursion.

Because right now it feels like:

Galactic Rush... Worst event idea in at least the last year. Lowest participation I've ever seen. Scopely's solution, We'll drop some rewards. add some others, and make the most obvious Cash Grab/Pay to Win event with a side of Grind for Rewards 90% of players won't win! We'll call the rewards premium in the hopes that players will spend money on items for a slim chance at winning mediocre prizes and rushing into content they're not prepared for to, hopefully, get the players to spend more money to handle the content....

Today’s V’Ger Silent Hostiles event is a perfect example of how lag + bad design = pure frustration.

Let’s break it down:

• Silent Hostiles take THREE hits to kill
• First milestone: kill 10 — done
• Second milestone: Apex Barrier damage dealt

So far so good… except:

I’ve now hit 30+ Silent Hostiles, three hits each, and I’m not even halfway through the Apex Barrier objective.

And now the real problems start:

• Hostiles are NOT spawning fast enough
• You wait… and wait… and wait
• Finally tag a hostile — only for:
– Lag to freeze the game
– The game to kick you out
– Or someone else to swoop in and finish it while your screen is still loading

Nothing like spending 50 seconds loading a system just to watch the hostile die before you can act.

This isn’t competition.
This isn’t difficulty.
This is the server failing to keep up with the event YOU designed.

Running multi-hit, damage-based objectives:
• On slow-spawning hostiles
• During peak lag
• On unstable servers

…is flat-out broken.

Yet again, the issue isn’t player effort.
It’s server performance.
It’s spawn rates.
It’s event design that ignores real-world server conditions.

Fix the lag.
Fix the spawns.
Fix the event logic.

Because right now, players aren’t failing the event —
the event is failing the players.

My recommendation to everyone is to not intentionally participate in the Galactic Rush event. The rewards aren't great, inclhding the "Premium." It's a blatant cash grab, and perhaps if we don't engage, they'll catch the hint and stop running it or other events that try to rush people into content they're not ready for, and milk their credit cards simultaneously.

Remove the snw officers that it mentions when you scan the V'ger hostile. Having any of those officers on your ship will cause the battle to go 100 rounds and you will not win. Looking at your reports, that is what is happening. You are strong enough to kill them, but using those officers makes them have ungodly amounts of apex barrier and you can't damage them enough.

No, that is not the point. Having those officers gives the hostile Apex barrier, not you. The event is to block damage on yourself with Apex barrier, not for the hostile to block damage. The hostile blocking gobs of damage with apex barrier gives you zero points.

With the right crew, you can get enough apex barrier and kill the hostiles. Just using Annorax and the appropriate below deck apex barrier officer finished it for me in literally one kill, and I could easily kill 9 more for the 'kill 10...' event on the same hull.

nope, not enough for me, I get 1 point per clean kill, maybe 2 if I put on every apex officer we have, but around 40 points if I put Pelia below and let the fight go for 100 rounds. You can't mitigate damage that doesn't come, so prolonging the fight is actually the way to let apex do its thing

though I'm 71, but the principle should apply, if the amound needed is not scaled properly, you have a hard time doing it

He's not ops 69 though he's ops 70 running max relativity, a vengeance a max g6 epic and maxed cube.
Events don't have a hostile cap. And 90m is easily doable at 30m points a day at 34k per hostile it's only 1200 hostiles a day small fry, it's fact that many people camp to win events like this. Unless you call 1200 hostiles a day botting when hostile cap is 2000 for rewards and events score is not capped.

Many people can do 2000 hostiles a day with just 1 ship, so not really unheard running 2.

And by way maxed dauntless can auto grind

Bracket is ops 66 to 70. So what yours has an ops 69 leading it if they have multiple paid primes ships maxed etc it's entirely possible to grind 10 hrs a day, just because you can't people must be cheating right?

• margin hostiles
• vger hostiles

When I went to kill voyager hostiles it scored.
Sending dauntless into MU Romulus it scored. Course I got $coplied immediately after first hostile in MU dauntless ability bugged again lol but hey it’s scoring for event…..

Arenas are lame, everyone agrees. However, there should be a mechanism to punish fake squads and freeloaders. It's epidemic that people start teams and select matches only to no-show. It is a huge waste of time for anyone actually trying to make progress unlucky enough to be caught in one of those squads. There needs to be a way to hard quit the squad so a player isn't stuck in a match, and also a way to mark those players for future reference.

given the lack of vger spawns, I don't think they are running multiple ships against the hostiles that score. More likely they, or a friend, have an excelsior culling the vger fighter spawns so they don't choke out the normal spawns, which also means you would need a similar setup to have a chance at placing well

kudos to scopely though, for making this a subtle pay to win event, rather than the blatantly obvious ones they normally run
