Scopely, what in the actual hell is going on with this game?

Every week we get a shiny new “hotfix” announcement, and every week the game gets worse. At this point the only thing running smoothly is the copy-paste PR message you keep feeding us.

After yesterday’s maintenance, the game is practically unplayable:

• Lag so bad it feels like the servers are running on a potato.
• Crashes constantly, sometimes back-to-back.
• Chat is completely broken — have to restart every time just to type a sentence.
• Ship details freezing the client like it’s having a nervous breakdown.
• UI loops, lockups, and general instability everywhere you touch.

And before someone chimes in with “clear cache” or “reinstall” — spare me.
We’ve all done that. This is not a player-side issue. This is a broken build pushed live without proper testing — again.

You keep pumping out hotfixes for half-finished features, broken nodes, broken outposts, broken events, broken abilities, broken leaderboards… but the core game is rotting underneath it all. It feels like the dev team is duct-taping holes faster than the ship can sink.

And the worst part?
You expect players — especially late-game players — to keep spending money while the game client performs like it’s in early beta.

So here it is, plain and simple:

Start fixing the damn game. Not band-aids. Not PR fluff. Actual fixes. Actual testing. Actual stability.

Because right now, it feels like the players care more about STFC than the people running it.

Anyone else experiencing this level of failure since the update, sound off.
If Scopely won’t listen to a single voice, maybe they’ll listen to a crowd.

My mistake. The g6 crystal task used to complete with 4x 100 credits pulls, it's now 5x 100 crrdit and 3x 10 credit pulls. The ore/gas tasks used to cost more as you got less unc in each pull.

It took 200 tokens to finish a task last month for crystal. It takes 600 tokens to do the same task this month. Mind you that was after they boosted payout for 6 months of inflation they failed to give us prior. before that it was like 300 tokens.

Other options are the uncommon borg 10k where you need to get 6k uncommon credits. That is done by doing the NX loop daily mainly. I have 4 stacks of those quests at the ready. Another is the temporal disruptors 10k, done by continuing pulling the DTI artifacts once they reach the remnant part of their level-up, which has a 22 hour cooldown. Same goes for any artifact that can give you temporal disruptors via refinery once said artifacts reach the level that will let you convert (I have too much to the point where I can do this for the whole tournament).

If you get kicked out and your ships end up back at base, you should still be able to see into the system. Click on, click the entity, and press the leave button. It lets you rejoin and doesn't seem to have issues after that

To the great overlords designing these events to pay for the monthly yacht bill at Scopely… y’all really messed up alliance tournaments, and the “fix” you guys rolled out was atrocious at best. You have made the events for the g4 players asinine, the g5 events are slightly less worse than the g4, and the g6+ events are apparently just aimed at getting money for your kids’ college tuitions. Advancements/Relegations need to be thrown out the window for this one, and you guys need a serious gut check on how you are pushing new content. I haven't seen a chart, but the starter chest for defeating the outpost initially goes up with level. Don't know about the hostiles since that loot goes directly to your store supply aside from an item drop every ten retaliation ships or so.

no, there are only 3 "Ticketed Event: Anniversary Heist" Events in the list and the meta is an AMS event, so tell you're alliance mates to get busy getting them done

They are all pretty much the same, shoot hostiles, bonus for a certain ship type

Last time they swapped from the old way to the new one players were already deep in the 60s. This time they rescaled/adjusted when a tiny portion of the players have made it to 71+ so only they have a good chance of unlocking the newest epics.

Yep, COTA is simply a pay to play event, period. And don’t hide behind the “Heroic” banner, that’s a cop out. Live ops can adjust goals on the fly. They’ve done it plenty in the past but at some point it seems the hammer came down on that practice.

Easy fix would be to reinstate the old goal amount which was half of what it is now. At least that gives people a chance since they took so many good scoring mechanics out.
