The game is working perfectly..events are scoring, ships aren’t stuck in battle..you can switch between events and event store with no issues. Ships don’t get lost trying to goto mirror universe. Game doesn’t randomly crash

Btw everything is opposite of the above. This game is not only one big grind but has become so poorly built that you never know if you can play it.

There are only two jobs you can do so poorly and still keep it.

so something I just realized with choice rewards, the payouts aren't the same for different materials. For example, I get 10 G5 epics for crystal but not for gas or ore? <@&509690795536941056> I assume there is some type of explanation for this?

When mats were in bps, we would get a higher amount of crystal than the other two mats. More than that, crystal is the only G5 mat that had epic sourcing in bps. When the system was changed to choice rewards, the amounts of the bp were straight converted to exchanges that provide the same amount of mats as before if you spent evenly.

There's also no hostile level requirement for the event, so you can just hit the lowest level exile hostiles.

Use the normal crew you would to hit the highest level you can for the 1 event, then use the specific crews to finish up the other event on the lowest level hostiles. Shouldn't take all that long unless you only have 1 or 2 of the specific crew.

These events are designed for you to hit equal to your ops. Which given how hard these hostiles are is quite the challenge.
If you can hit at your ops the event is pretty fast, but given most people can't do that and they're hitting a few levels below then they get caught in a horrible grind.

Scopely has a roadmap with its events, That it will not change for anything in the world, That the only thing that interests it Is making money. That free to play players can't do it is the same to them that the game doesn't work, it is the same to them, that players complain is the same to them, They always answer the same, we are investigating, until the event ends and we move on to another event.

Every time somebody with less than 10k arena rating gets matched against a gigawhale with 65k rating, an angel loses their wings and grows horns. Fix this garbage or admit arenas is a failure and shut it down.

That would be unfair to those who have not gotten enough points in arena yet. What we need is to have those with more wins matched against those with more wins, and those with fewer to be matched against those with fewer.

Simply matching by number of wins would give the bulk of the people 50% win rates.

What's the point of trying in arenas? Lag remains horrendous, connectivity is wishy-washy at best, and despite being on top of an opponent and initiating an attack they catapult half a system away while the same opponent's other ship starts combat from another half a system away. Arenas is increasingly becoming no fun as we're bogged down running the same hamster wheel getting nowhere with minimal progress every week. It's just not fun. Hasn't been for a long time. The inconsistency is dragging the entire experience down.

I submitted a ticket, right after the issue happened, and they fixed it for me within a few hours. Other people in my alliance made a ticket later on that day, and they refused to fix it saying that "a fix will be rolled out later on this week." This fix never happened

Support has also told other people in my alliance basically "too bad. You upgraded it before the event, and it's not our fault " (I am paraphrasing this)

... and other people in my alliance submitted a ticket the next day, and they fixed it for them just fine.

finally completed Pike-crew SMS which was awful as that crew does nothing on those new hostiles. So had to drop down in levels. Which means I should now kill 340 hostiles to complete the other event with those hostiles. Which would mean something like 20 hulls. So I clearly won't do that, it's just plain unrealistic and extra boring!

Apex is the harder one to get. Volatile's easy: just run a loot crew on your main warship ship and punch way up. Apex requires the Evis to get any real amount and the Evis continues to suck

Though I guess a newer lower-Ops player's Evis might actually be able to hit the same hostiles their main warship can, so I could see that being an issue

Maybe your Evis is more in-line with your Ops, then. I can grind 2M Volatile in 3 minutes. Takes me a good 10 mins to get 300k Apex. Based on my pulls, I have to run out for Apex 2-3x for every one time I grind Volatile

too many tiers with negligible warp range upgrades, so while my faction ships have already moved on to 63, 65, and now 66, i have no way of bringing an eviscerator there.

Neelix isn't inherently bad, but for some people it may not be the best choice for their ship and crew (Kim would more significant for me in order to activate the Enterprise's shield regen from BD).

For some reason I got the impression that the Archives was going to reduce the grind. I have found it to have no change. I find that once you have maxed the ship you get the parts for the ship, which you dont need anymore. what do we use them for? the other question i have why do other ships only have chance of this or that dropping? its getting lean and discouraging to max the ships, back to the luck.

ALL of the specialty ships in the archives are a great source for other in-game items, and once maxed it is one button push to claim them all. This is still a huge time saver, though they have introduced new grinds WAY faster than they have added older ships to the Archives.

For instance:

the Talios and Vidar are great sources of FRK and Independent credits and reputation. Talios gives borg officers or transporter patterns (TP's).,
Botany Bay gives daily Independent Credits and officer TP's (or officers themselves if you haven't maxed Augments),
Dvor gives 3000 lat per day - no, not a big deal at higher levels but still nice.,
Amalgem gives rep boosting exos (though less than you could get before archives) and HG Worf / TP's.,
Feesha gives 80k Latinum!,
Voyager gives Commerce Insignia (ship parts!), and also artifacts or artifat shards.,
Monaveen gives guaranteed HUGE resources AND a chance at materials - haven't maxed this yet so I don't know how good the 'chance' is.

The events from, this arc have been roundly trash. You’ve been given feedback over and over again and you’re just doubling down. People are sick of the tone deaf response or outright ignoring your customers.

I'd like to add to that, the challenges are fine for the most part if the hostiles were cut in half except the Armada ones, if you don't have 5* officers you're looking at 10-15 to do them, that's unacceptable. Assuming you don't have quick start (and not everyone does) that's hours worth of sitting around assuming your alliance has the coordination and directives.

I'd like to add the event store itself, the officer depot, has been great, I've unlocked like 11 officers that was 1/2/3 shards off. A+++!

The challenge store is very... meh... maybe if you could fully unlock something, but as it stands it's very not great.

Please also look at how bad punching down is for people overleveled. If I see it's augments I don't even bother because I have to kill much lower than myself and it's 500-600 kills. You're encouraging people to ops up and then punishing them for it.

I honestly think that lower lvls should be allowed kill any ops lvl they want. Lower lvl player are a rare breed and it is very difficult for them to complete the PvP khan events. Usually they give tokens when token events are released. They have also given wave directives during wave events. This should apply here too.

For the solo wave Khan's challenge my math says 24 pts per hostile with all officers on a single ship, 41 hostiles total with that ship. Killing 3 hostile per wave with that ship you would need 3 perfect elite waves or 300 durectives. Since we just had a solo wave slb where I spent all my directives I on;y have 222 directives so impossible to complete for me.

I'ts not neccessaryt for the meta, but for most it IS necessary for the rewards, and those rewards don't benefit the spenders, they already have them. Those rewards benefit the low spend and f2p player base.

The bigger issue is not so much the "right after a Solo Wave SLB" , but its a Math issue .... Other than these crews they want used being ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE..... they are mostly New officers which MOST people don't have max tier to get those "bonus points" ... that means roughly 25 points per kill if they are on a single ship ... 30 hostiles in a regular wave so 10 kills (give or take) per run with that ship crewed with that HORRIBLE crew.... 1000 points to finish the event divided by that 25 points equals 40 kills .... $copley PLEASE have your event creators KNOW the game before they make such events

solo wave khan challenge done here on 4 tries , first one failed as all were talking about (6 hostiles x 25 points 150/1000), doing the 45 here, my second run i put aleksander dane on lower deck of my fastest ship, and use it to take all ships in a row, first wave is a bit easier as can move where they spawn, by now most of us should remember where are they coming from, just take in mind to use only one ship and keep the other two aside base in case they are needed, on my best run took 16 of 18 hostiles with the challenge ship and got 400 points
