If you're lucky like I was, I saved up and I to where I had 160 trial bells. And then because I went below 80. It triggered an additional 80 for me. And now I have to wait 22 hours for another 80 which is not anywhere near enough

And the geniuses at scopley didn't even allow anything in the store to where you could pay. Say 20 bucks for additional bells

You can do any q trial tier that you already completed. I am going back and doing t2 q trials for the event. But yes, there needs to be additional scoring for the event period. People are right in saying that you have to be a certain power, not ops level, to complete even tier 1 of q trials

Have someone in our alliance with the same problem. Outrageous that it was even considered, forget the small print and fine details that will be used in defence. To have an Alliance LB that prohibits members of your alliance is quite frankly poor.

They get removed because they aren't participating, then they don't place, and therefore don't meet the requirement to get the rewards. The gauntlet events are awarding a token in the top 3 slots.

Far be it from me to blame the fact I was on another server running incursions at the time for my client not getting the events. Especially given that for Alliance tournaments I was also somehow on a separate server from the rest of my alliance. We all know how well those points were tabulated. So, clearly no history here on this one.

And another thing about the events. Scopely, you need to seperate the material spen event from the solo mada event. You will actually get more people spending to win both. Plus it gives a chance for mostly ftp to actually win an slb

I used to win or at least place well in those solo mada slbs because i normally save them up and use them as needed. And also there are just way too many fkr events happening in a row. And get off your heroic sms events. This last arc you had 5 running at the same time. Is there another way you can just scream pay to win? Are you that desperate for money from your hoghest grossing game?

You have to take into consideration some people have jobs or things to do that stops them getting on the game for periods of time, not everyone will play daily and garbage like this screws them and their alliance when Scopely run events like this. But as per Scopely hide behind a wall and avoid admitting they screwed up and fixing their garbage.

Many people including myself despise incursions and only do the bare minimum of events during them, so incredibly rude to run a starting event during incursions, excluding people from participating for their alliance in the days after. Especially since there was zero announcement that this event would run. Major thumbs down scopely.

We have this issue with the current albs but it one of our players was online during incursions and still did jot get it

She did the armada alb but not the ship xp event

Half our player shield durimg incursions and take a day off. Cant blame them. It's boring event now. And g3 and g4 player can't really run armadas in incursions as it's a bit risky and they don't score enough damage. It's g6 solos that score big. If too many events are run during incursions then why run incursions, our ability to do everything is not there.

Check your past ALB logs and compare the players in today's ALB.

It looks like if anyone in an alliance has not done any of the ALB's, it appears they get locked out of the linked ones.

To me, it’s just another cash grab. We had a huge lead in r1 and r2 and there was no need for everyone to spend everything just to participate. Knowing Scopely, they would follow up with another event using the same materials and you’d need to buy. So many saved them in case they were needed. Not knowing that that would remove them from rewards or participation. It’s not a good look IMO.

@worldly dune I think it's you have to do all the events to get the next one. If your out of ships to upgrade one could easily skip it or if your out of lat. G3 players would struggle the most as everything they have is probably already leveled up this somewhat limits participation and f2p are less likely to spend lat on leveling ships as that gets expensive especially if like me you lost 3.5 million lat accidentally instant repairing a g5 ship. Notification came up but a pre click registered as the game responds so slowly these days.

The only event I've seen this happen on, which isn't also explicitly stated, is the CoW event.
I believe that if you don't score in at least one or every event stage, you don't get the rewards. Can't exactly remember the mechanics but each event should be 100% transparent on how it scores...

matchmaking is now almost entirely average ops of the squad.
a 70-63-56 squad will have an average of 63, just like a 62-63-64 squad for example.

to get more fair fights, spread your squad's ops level a bit.
and the farther you spread out, the higher the chance that an unfair matchup is in your favor.
if your squad is all around the same ops level, an unfair matchup will always be unfavorable to you.

How are people feeling about the new event schedule? I'm variously optimistic. Having an official schedule is great, and if the SLBs have a decent bracketing instead of the stupid 28-49 one then it's already a massive improvement. I am worried that lower ops levels don't have the artifact or fleet commander sourcing for an SMS every other day, and that the Tuesday q trials don't list an alternate scoring for people that haven't cleared 1*.

I think I need to see the monthly meta event and how strict it is about finishing each day's SMS events, which we'll know in a few hours.

My experience is that after exceeding lvl 57 I always got matching with 61,63,66. They should do some more tweaking. After reducing the number of participants to 3 its more important to have more balanced matching as one unbeatable ship with speed crew will clear all. Not to mention the lag that makes all even harder.

Also (I'm assuming) you're probably paying attention to the ship triangle. On my server I've watched several players get their azzes handed to them for hitting cross triangle.
Then that hostile is much weaker and the next player thinks that THEY can hit cross triangle and THEY get the free trip home.

El-Aurians are much less forgiving than Freebooters and booters aren't very forgiving.

I suggest using a crew that you can max out damage and mitigation. Janeway synergy works, and having e-data on the side for some extra damage

Hey Ham...some feedback on the smart timer feature: Love the idea but the current execution can be improved

1. why bother getting us down to 5 mins and force us to do an extra click or two? Just do smart timer to autocomplete, no need to waste another click for 5 mins
2. maybe instead of the current screen with normal repair and latinum repair in ship dock, option to replace the latinum repair with the smart timer. i can't imagine anyone uses the latinum option after g2 ships... again, save a click
3. if people run out of speedups, add a feature where you can buy speedups with latinum in advance (which you can do today only during a speedup window) so that they can pre-stock speedups

That explains my surviving more. I’m sure if I had max of the epic officers there would be a different crew I would use. Just trying to help some of the late 40s and even other ops levels try to finish the hostiles. I’m all for being hard on Scopely when they make stuff suck and unfair—- like the Silent hostiles and Mirrior universe at launch. This was a launch that I’m not seeing the same problems that they should be reprimanded for, and it feels more like a personal problem for players and not the content. That being said, I have no complaints about being 49 because 50 and beyond even with proper ship crew research still has a prohibitive amount of points needed.

Current slb basically scores when u upgrade… scrapping time for the new ship is just like Stella , minutes so it can be scrapped instantly and then upgraded the same day .., several times…. Ok, so Scopely did reduced event token income from events twice from the last year (RevDeuce got a nice spreadsheet showing that) and now almost 24 hours passed and players below 40 don't get any single event except bpass and rotating daily one.

You have to work out the time investment Vs rewards. It takes a lot of time for not a lot of return. Plus it is boring, and lacks interest or imagination.

Just so we're clear. This event was provided to me as an OPS 38 player, with no possible way of completing it. Even if I DID purchase it, I can't build the SS Revenant until OPS 42. This is really unacceptable. Can you please fix this? And please PLEASE do some product testing with people who actually PLAY the game before launching broken things like this. It would take 2 seconds from someone who plays the game to let you know that you made a mistake here.
