The current spend sms lvls are a joke! Why do the lvl 50s need to be put into a place where they can essentially NOT complete the sms, just because they powers that be refuse to split off the 61+ group??

Just to get to tier two of the event, takes 56 THOUSAND uc G5 mats. That is an insane number. 28 THOUSAND if you can spend some rare mats. That is ridiculous.

Even taking Operations from 56 to 57 is only 7k rare mats. That does not even complete tier 1 of the event now! How does anyone from lvl 51 to 55 have a hope of finishing the sms???

And yes, I know it is a "heroic" sms, but even if I bought a pack, for example a station pack, that only has 9k rare G5 mats total, and 36k uc g5 mats. So dropping $100 would STILL not get me to the second tier of my event!!!

You can't get G6 or specialty mats until lvl 61....so the sms lvls can be lower if the bracket is different. The tier requirements go up based on Ops lvl.

at Ops 46, i need to spend 60k uncommon G4 for the 2nd milestone, thats 4k more than the equivalent G5 uncommon you mentioned

The reason they lower the value of the G4 and G5 mats for the sms, is so that the higher lvl players cannot use them INSTEAD of the G6 mats and rss to finish the event. What I am saying, is that there should be a DIFFERENT heroic sms event for anyone above 61. Which they do for lots of other stuff anyways.

It's very much not intended that you can finish the heroic SMS every run f2p. It can be finished, f2p, after quite a bit of hoarding, but you should expect that it'll take a couple packs to finish them regularly.

9.6 million to complete 1 SMS @ops46 isn't "hoarding" that's almost a years worth of Mats for "F2P" and considering the reduction research you've likely completed along the way you may not even have enough things to spend on, which is the case even for me, a median pay to play player

Mids 40s are nightmarish for recruit events because the g3 mats still spend but aren't good enough to push the tiers and the G4 mats aren't abundant enough in quantity or things to spend them on to push the event either let alone be competitive in the SLB no matter if I buy packs or not.

Syndicate events are almost entirely predictable like that, look at the BP rewards, the event will be a day or two after youve earned syndicate xp as a reward

When the G6 community had to compete against each other. They threw tantrums about having a lower chance of winning because they actually had competition in spending power…. scopely bent over backwards and changed the brackets.
The 70s got beaten by a bugged scoring mechanism by low G6 players… scopely treating this as a high priority.
G5 ask for better bracketing in events… scopely say it’s too difficult to do it

I have to disagree. I was 59 very recently, and for 5+ months, and I was so frustrated by the SLBs and progress in general I almost quit. Being able to win some SLBs (especially mat spend) would have gone a long way for me. 58-61 still can't compete with 62+. They just aren't using the same numbers.

The problem is the order-of-magnitude changes the game mechanics use with the various grades. G5 is trillions of steel, G4 is billions, G3 is thousands, etc. The same works with rep after players cross into 17B+ on a faction. Suddenly, you can't compare them.

Just make different rewards brackets for the G6 Brackets based on Population. Way easier. Look at ISS Jelly Brawl. Some Servers only 1st place got something and on other 5 places got something. Do something similar in G6 but based on G6 Population and have an ops61 to 70 bracket will fix it

Yes they do too many primes. PvP is a mess. They waste the little bit of balance there might was for a quick dollar. But they do some good stuff.

The Gorn ship is awesome. Low 40s can use it day one. For late 40s and higher it takes a while but that was to be expected. My Sanctus can get more loot on one hull then my T2 Eviscerator but in 2 or 3 months or so when it’s getting closer to my Sanctus it will replace the Sanctus for Gorn. The refinery is great especially the officer part.

Problem is they screw up stuff to make short term money (10 level primes).
But splitting brackets would literally make them money as G5 would then spend again

It’s your fault for going after Ktinga in my opinion. If your a Full on Battleship player then yes the cube will suck for you because of ship parts/crews and the similarities between them cause they are battleships.

I said it’s good at ops42. I have people in my Alliance at ops 42 with a T6 Kelvin or Valdore who fly the cube and it’s working really good for them.

For me it’s game over on Battleships cause of the cube. I would have wanted a Dederidex or a Neghvar but the cube made them obsolete. It’s about choice now. The cube can replace every battleship.

You also knew that in the 20s and low 30s crystal is a problem. Did you build a Sally? I did. It was a pain but worth it. There are always painpoints where you have to choose.

It literally replaced to need to build 2 of one shipyard level. Build a kelvin and have a cube as a 2nd Ship. Build a Kori and fly the cube as a 2nd ship

An artifact, an officer I can’t unlock, and two skins that update its potential later… and I am of the opinion they released a cracked ship, and want to sell us the adhesive to fix it.

The worst thing is i also liked the idea of G6 players being thrown in xslb leaderboards to have enough competition but that was scrapped quickly after them complaining about it. I really dont care about the fkr slb, its irrelevant. New officers are relevant because sourcing becomes worse as well.
Eviscerator refinery excluded tbf, that seems like decent sourcing.
But look at Archer arc officers for example, most horrible way to source them.
Another thing thats very annoying is why did scopely add already easily sourcable officers into ultra recruits? Its a "hey we added some new officers, everyones happy now?" kinda 💩 that just diludes the pool even more.

on ops49 you can go for level 35 borg probes...it will take ages before you die and you get twice as many points.... unless you did not level your tally, but then killing lvl 33's won't give you much benefit either 🙈

even the lvl 50 probes took me hours of grinding before my hull was down while still ops49 (and I'm only spending 23euros per month for the elite BPs if I spend at all)
